AWFUL. if you dont have a primary doctor and a clinic like this is your only option or last resort... skip this one. save your self the headache of dealing with this place and take the drive up to SLO and request Dr. Gary Cooper at MedStop. down to earth, professional, educated and really took his time. i feel bad writing bad reviews because Im sure the 1 star doesnt reflect every staff member there. but I hope they check this so they can see that they are not working in a cohesive, professional, friendly work place. I will say the PA who took my vitals was super sweet- I didnt catch his name but I would give him 5 stars alone. the run around I went through with the medications I was prescribed (that i explained throughly did not work for me), the pharmacy not getting the order and then back to dealing with the receptionist to get the right prescription was a f***ing headache. seriously the last thing I needed today. oh and also some chick that worked there was talking about someone starting their period super loud outside the door of the room I was waiting in.. reeeeeally professional, babe.

OMG! I CANNOT WITH THIS PLACE!! The attitude of the physicians assistant is horrid! When I went in to get a prescription for my inhaler, waited 2 hours for a 10 min visit in which time I was chastised for 1. Not having my asthma under control 2. Not having insurance and lastly, after explaining that I was currently unemployed with no insurance making buying the medication (advair or similar) to control it, would cost me upwards of $350 a month which I could not afford that is why I was asking for the rescue inhaler costing $50 The PA said I will give you 1 refill after charging me $175 for the visit not to mention the cost of the prescription. I never ONCE saw a real doctor! I made an appointment with a primary care physician but takes 2 months to get into and I have called diligently along with the pharmacy in an attempt to get the script refilled. NOTHING! Shame on your lack of compassion for patients. Isnt their oath as medical professionals "to do no harm"? Oh wait, keyword PROFESSIONAL! Which they are none of.

I dont like this place. Im visiting out of town and needed a doctor, when I first got up to the front desk, I did not get acknowledged. This is the first step in customer service. The lady at the front desk is extremely rude. I am still here and I am listening to how she is talking to customers and it is not acceptable. I have insurance but I cannot find my insurance card. I let the lady know at the front desk that I can call them and get all of the information. She said if I have my insurance card then they can bill my insurance, if not,I have to pay cash. Back home in Utah, they told me they or I could call and get insurance information. This is bogus. Never ever coming back and not recommending! My grandma doesnt like this place either and this is 5 min from her house.

We were visiting the area and I hurt my index finger, hence the need for the medical attention. An exray was taken on site and diagnosed as a sprain. A splint was applied by the PA and I was on my way. Insurance was billed, no muss, no fuss. I waited about 45 minutes to be treated as a walk-in, which is about my wait time when visiting my regular Dr. with an appointment. I was treated professionally and courteously. I would not hesitate to go here again.

I was in the clinic May of 2014 while on vacation. I cant believe all the bad reviews. I walked in with abdominal pain. I did have to wait a while but was expected. I was seen by a PA right away. She examined me and conferred with the M.D. on duty. They both said I needed go to the ER in Arroyo Grande. I did as they suggested and was diagnosed with a kidney stone. I would go there again if the need arose.

I went in at 815am and wasnt seen by a doctor for over an hour an a half. When the doctor Jennifer Rocha finally arrived I was quickly rushed through my visit. I wasnt happy with how loudly the doctor was speaking to me and definitley wasnt happy with her speedy mystery diagnosis. Every time I come here I am so upset when I leave. This will be my last visit here, you can believe that.

Great experience! I was nervous to go based on reviews but didnt receive call back from another doctors office and am new to area. Everyone (front desk, nurse, and doctor) was kind and professional and I was out of there within an hour. In talking with the nurse she said there has been a turnover in staff in the last few months so come on in with an open mind and heart!

I always went here when I lived close by and did not have health insurance. A pretty good way to go if you were in my shoes. On the other hand, the place was always a little sketch which I guess should be expected given the clientele! The doctors were alright. they never showed they were the highest quality, but when you dont have health insurance, they will do.

Ive been here many times and have seen 3 different doctors. I have found them all to be excellent. Just call and ask them how busy they are first. If they are busy, then call back again later or make an appointment. Its a walk in clinic so if lots of people are coming in then you will naturally have to wait your turn. Bill L.

Not a long wait for a Walk-in Clinic. Atmosphere was best I have experienced. Nurse Practitioner was very thorough and very professional. All staff were courteous and kind. Rare these days. Overall, a good visit. If you are ill, that is never positive, but staff made up for that fact.

I thought I was going to see a doctor, instead a medical asst. seen me, she told me my glucose was high, I needed to check in the er. and all she said I needed to check in the er. it was my left side inside the rib cage where i was in extremely in pain.

Bad customer service since I walked in. I guess with the clientele they have to deal with, they have to build a tougher personality but dont take it out on other people. Ended up walking out and going to a different clinic.

The front desk receptionist was unbelievably rude and did not listen to anything I was trying to tell her. The place was dark and completely unwelcoming and I plan on NEVER returning to this place.

These people are completely unprofessional and incompetent. They charged me twice for the same bill and Im still trying to get reimbursed. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

Dr Pollak is a wonderful Physician. He saw my 85 year old father in-law He took the time to check out the issue and help resolve it. The front office staff was very pleasant and helpful.

unreliable front staff , not the worst but be prepared to wait unless you get lucky . And wait I mean 2 hours when they say 30 minutes .
