Sir, my 65 lb American Pit Bull puppy broke out in hives and could not keep food down one evening so the next morning I scheduled an appointment to bring him in later in the day. I had changed his diet adding new snacks and a different type of pet food so I was not sure which of these were creating the allergic reaction. I had also given him one of the bones that you can purchase at the local grocery store. Upon returning home from dropping my son off at school I was met by my puppy whose eyes were swollen shut. I immediately called Pedley, told them of his current condition and asked if I could bring Sir in immediately. When I arrived at the hospital, Sir was squeamish and I could not get him to enter the hospital. The assistant at the front desk was extremely helpful by initially bringing treats to the door in an attempt to coerce him into the hospital to no avail. She ended up getting a belt to carry him in, getting him weighed and into an examination room. Sir was scared and doing poorly so the assistant made several attempts to calm him and offered him multiple varieties of treats which he would not accept. The doctor came in and assessed that Sir was having an allergic reaction. Sir had a fever and the hives were getting worse. He was also having problems breathing. The vet asked if he had made contact with bees lately in which I replied he had not but that I had changed his diet. Although she was sure that the diet was not the culprit in the matter, she did provide me with information regarding the bones sold in stores not being a good idea to give to the dog because blood was still in the bone and Sir could contract Samonella. The vet gave Sir two shots and pills to take for the next 10 days to settle his stomach. She said that I should see results in a few hours and if not, to call her, however, before we left the office the swelling had gone down considerably. The doctor was so helpful informing me that I could give Sir Benadryl if he had another allergic reaction. When I returned home I went into the back yard and walked around to see if there were bees in the vicinity and to my surprise not only were there bees around a lemon tree in the back where my German Shepherd napped but there was a wasp nest as well. Sir is doing wonderful now and has began putting weight back on since he has been able to keep food down. I truly appreciate the professionalism and compassion we experienced at Pedley Veterinary Hospital. The establishment was clean and the atmosphere was comfortable. In addition, the staff put my fears and concerns to rest with the information and knowledge they provided to me regarding my pet. With this kind of service, they have a client for life!

I would recommend Pedley Vet anyone new to the area of anyone looking for a quality team that treat your animal with love and tender care... I would give all 5 stars for above and beyond my expectations! I was hesitant going to a new vet because I was new to the area and needed to get established... We have two dogs both adopted Quincy he is Corgi/dachshund & Cookie is Mix Terrier. Both is good health and very active.... One morning woke up with cookie not being able to use her back two legs. . . . Concerned looked up on the internet at all the vets in the area a lot o horror stories at other local vets but this one Pedley they had nothing but good reviews and good experiences.... I called them up they got Cookie in right away. The front desk employees very welcoming (we were so scared), the Nurse came to examine her and get basics then the doctor came in. She was gentle, Very Detailed oriented and took her time. Ordered X rays, administered medicines and kept a close eye on her for 5 hours. Turned out 6-7 Bulding disks in cookies back/spin was causing difficult pain and unable to use back legs.. Not sure if permanent or temporary. We ended up taking her home and the next morning she had got worse. So we brought her right back, they wanted to dis continue meds right away and switch them up. We followed advice and its day 5 of being home from the Vet and she has had nothing improvement. Gain feeling in her tail and feet and legs a little bit each day... Tomorrow she has a follow up appointment and we are very hopeful.. I am so grateful and blessed to have this vet close by who I can count on .. If u need to bring your furry friend to a vet for any reason this is the place to be. 5 stars hands down with super service and decent prices.. Thanks again pedley for making us feel at home and giving out little one the best care possible. You can tell the genuine hearts the workers and nurses and Doctors have here they have PASSION. We need more people like this in the world!

CAUTION! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS HOSPITAL! When it comes to a serious issue you wont be able to depend on them and take my word for it. My dog had two surgeries done on his tail, the first one was to remove a mass and when we took him back two weeks later they had to amputate it because it wasnt healing right and it got infected, RED FLAG! After the second surgery his tale got infected again, mind you, he wears a cone all of the time, he is an indoor dog, and I have had to take time off of work so I can watch him like a hawk, and it still got infected. I decided to take him to another doctor for a second opinion and he said that not only did my dog need a stronger antibiotic but he also needed more stitches and a bandage needed to be applied to protect from foreign bodies getting into the incision, ALL OF THIS WAS NOT DONE AT PEDLEY VETERINARY HOSPITAL. So far we have spent close to 2 grand at Pedley due to the doctors incompetence. Not including the 200 bucks we had to spend at another hospital because we are unable to trust PEDLEY VETERINARY HOSPITAL. They are quite aware of my dissatisfaction with their conduct thus far, but that doesnt mean they can allow their receptionists to be rude and nasty to me especially after everything that Iam going through with my dog. Apart of me is scared he is going to die from this infection but Iam hoping another doctor can care enough to save his life and get him on the proper road to recovery where he belongs.

I have been taking my babies to Pedley Vet since Spring of 1999. I got my first dog and needed a well-dog check-up. My neighbor recommended them and I have been going ever since. Great people! Great care!! Honesty. Our newest pup is on their Puppy Program for her shots and check-ups. In addition to their professionalism, I really enjoy their "wonder" at every new puppy or kitten who comes in. You know they see so many but each one is treated like a new miracle. I love these folks!!!!

This vet is awesome! Ive never had any problems with them! They always have taken me by my appointment time. They always give my dogs lots of attention and affection. My dogs are always nervous going to the vet, but the staff always puts them at ease by giving them affection. I had both of my dogs fixed there, and they did an excellent job! I know a lot of people that use this vet and they love them as much as I do!
