I basically ran to this clinic because its the only one nearest to my house. My dog had her very first siezure five to ten minutes before my arrival and I had never seen anything like it. No one was behind the desk. I waited, red eyed and tears still running down my face. Someone pops their head out of the check-up room and says itll be a minute. I stand there still. When Im finally attended to, she asks whats wrong with my dog. Now, Im all choked up and I cant really breathe but I tell her I think she had a seizure. She was drenched in her own urine and it was seeping through the towel I had wrapped her in and onto my clothes. She takes her time to find her records (I had been here before for shots and over-priced medication for my pets back) and takes her time to ask me pointless questions because when I walked into check-up, old Chinese dude didnt seem to know what was up. No one helps me with my dog, who seems unresponsive and limp in my arms. But I manage without much trouble. I weight her twice. He checks her temperature, her ears, her eyes, her mouth. $150 for a blood sample. Might have a brain tumor, maybe meningitis infection, contusion. A long list. Walked right out of there without another word. They didnt stop me. Seems like they love animals.

1st of all i thought it was weird there were no cars in the parking lot and it was the only vet that was not packed on a friday?! that should have been my 1st clue my dog had some type of eye infection like pink eye. the clinic we usually go to had a 4 hour wait and we didnt have much money so this was the cheapest office visit i could find. they said it would be $25 and ended up charging us $40!! they didnt even do anything to my dog. 1st of all the guy didnt even know what kind of breed she was that was weird! (are you not a vet?) he said he didnt know what was wrong with her eye and didnt know what it could be but wanted to charge me $160-180 for a shot and some antibiotics or cream. why would you give her a shot if you dont even know whats wrong with her??? and i said no to the shot and asked how much for the medicine he said $80 i have never paid that much for pet meds that was ridiculous. then he said well how much do you want to pay? uummm i would like to pay a regular prescription amount for antibiotics which is usually $4-10 dont bring your pet here unless you want to over pay for something you dont need. waste of time and waste of money.

Worst vist ever dont go promise your going to regret it. I went in to check my dog that kept on doing the same movement like it had brain damage and I called and they said.bring them in the check was 25 so I go and the vet checks her out and tells me what (may) be wrong with her he wasnt sure but after he checks her hes like k 105 and all he did was feel her.and check the temperature I couldve gone to the 99 cent store and done that myself. At the end I came out paying 200 I wouldnt tell anyone to come here not cheap and dont know what they are even doing!!! But then to top it all of the vet lil chinecse guy tells me oh take him to the other vet they well check him and tell u what can be wrong I got so mad!!! and I was like I just paid all this money for you to tell me to go to a other vet outrages the vet right there doesnt know anything dont get the lil Chinese guy worst vet I ever encouterd in my life Ps the ladys were nice helpful and try to even be there for u and checking the pets out themselfs I thank them for there patience and kindness

My whole family has been going to Dr. Kim at Sierra Animal Hospital for almost 25 years. I would never go anywhere else. Eight years ago, My persian cat Ki became ill with what turned out to be a blood infection. The way my cat looked and acted I was setting my self up for the worst. Dr. Kim immediately hooked her up to IV to hydrate her since she wasnt eating or drinking. I was told she would need to stay over night so all the necessary blood test could be taken to find out what was wrong. As soon as he got the blood work back. Dr. Kim himself called me and explained what was wrong with my cat. I just will never forget his words " Ki, shes going to be ok" I went down to pick her up that afternoon and when Ki saw me her face just lit up and I new she was on the road to recovery. Ki is still alive today! now 12 years old. If your looking for a vet that really cares about his patients and their owners, this is the one. Also I dont want to leave out the fact that the facility is always very clean and spotless.

This is not a bad review just common sense. I did not go to this pet clinic... To expensive for my budget however I have stated a few reasons why I declined below. I have two puppies male and female three and half months old weighing ten pounds... The doctor only will only neuter and spay from six months to a year old, that is when all dogs go into their first cycle of maturity and their weight is greater. The doctor charges by the weight of the puppy or cat along with other factors as being in heat, and all medical needs to complete the process of spaying and neutering . This process will normally cost on average of $150 to $250 dollars or more depending on the needs of the animal. I decided to go to the county Humane Society where it is cheaper by half the cost for they do the spay and neutering at three months and the cost starts roughly $75.00 depending on the weight of the animal... So yes I am definitely going to the Humane Society.

HORRIBLE PLACE! The VET doesnt care about the animals, all they care about is money. Vet didnt give me any explanations or instructions, he just checked my puppys temperature and gave him random medication and 2 expensive injections. He injected my puppy wrong and he cried for 25 minutes. The next day I called because my puppy seem worse and I wanted to take him in. He told me that it was normal that my dog was worse and NOT to take him in. My puppy died the next day after that. When I went into the office to let them know, his manager, vet assistant, came up with more than 10 excuses to try and blame it on me. The VET didnt want to talk to me. DONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE IF THEYRE SICK!! THEY DONT CARE!!

Our family is so thankful for the super care received at Sierra Animal Hospital! We have two dogs and two cats, and the doctor has taken care of numerous health issues they have faced throughout their lives. The doctor is very detail oriented and goes out of his way to make sure your pet is well taken care of at each appointment. You can tell that he truly cares about your pets, and he loves what he does! His fees are super reasonable, and actually I am suprised they are not higher given the high quality of care he delivers. His supporting staff is very friendly! I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants their pets well taken care of!
