Super friendly staff, was a patient for years! Unfortunately my experience here declined over time. Dr. Berg is a big believe in implants which are upwards of $5000. I got one from him a couple years ago with minimal issues, it came out good, so we moved forward with a bone graft for another implant which I decided to wait on. The crown for the first implant he did fell off while on vacation and I swallowed it. I understand crown warranty may vary based on the situation, and practice, but I was offered a discounted crown at a couple hundred dollars off, which isnt much considering the cost of crowns. The real issue we have here is, when I went in for a fitting on a replacement crown he was looking at the base, or post material he built up previous for a crown. He said that the crown should not have fallen off and he put some "relief cuts" into the base so it "wont ever fall off" why not do this the first time? It doesnt take a dentist to understand glue something to another material needs to have some bite, some grip, some texture, not a smooth surface glued to another. In end, while paying for another replacement crown on the same implant, they are still trying to schedule me for the OTHER implant for ANOTHER $5000 when the first one isnt even staying together (This happened eating a piece of bread by the way) I dont go around eating taffy for breakfast. I kept thinking to myself, you know lets get one implant finished before moving forward my budget is blown for the year and the work is questionable and costly. After several years I will be finding a new practice to take my pearly whites to.

I have been going to Dr. Dave for over 10 years now. The staff and Dr. Dave have always explained the charges and treatment options in detail. They have bent over backwards to design a payment plan that I could afford when I got laid off from my job. My teeth have never looked (and felt) better. My 7 year old grand daughter had a bad experience with another dentist, and when she first came to Dr. Daves office, she hid under the table in the waiting room. It didnt take the staff very long at all to calm her down and help her realize that the dentist was her friend. She is now 12, and actually looks forward to her semi-annual visits to the dentist, as she has made friends with the entire staff. She also enjoys the little snacks, books and videos too. I dont think you could find a better dentist and staff anywhere else in Sacramento!

I first went to Dr. Berg for a root canal. I can honestly say that he gave me the most comfortable root canal I have ever experienced. Dr. Berg held my sore jaw gently, like it was a baby bird. His lovely assistant, Grace, even held my hand during the novocaine shots and patted my shoulder reassuringly when I got tense. I continue to go to Dr. Berg because of his wonderful staff. Sandy, the hygienist, is hilarious. I get to have my teeth cleaned and a comedy show, all in one visit! MaryLou has a heart of gold and goes out of her way for every patient. I have referred many friends (and my boyfriend!) to Dr. Berg and they all love him. In short: Dr. Berg is a wonderful, gentle dentist who has surrounded himself with an equally wonderful staff. I will never go anywhere else.

I used to dread going to the dentist. I love going now. Everyone is so nice and treat me like I matter. I have never trusted a dentist like this. All my questions are answered no matter how many I ask. I like their text message reminders, too. Nothing I dont like about them. OK, Im adding on. Its been a few years. Dr. Berg did a one-day implant for my brother and I wanted one too, but he said the one-day idea wasnt right for me. So it was a long process of getting my bone built up and then the implant, and then healing and then my gorgeous crown. I can eat anything now, I dont have to use special floss to clean my bridge or worry about it breaking or decay under it. This was so worth the $1500 I paid. My insurance paid half, so I was really lucky.

I cant express enough how nice and thoughtful the staff are at Studio 1 Dental. Ive been three times in just a couple of weeks and for someone who hasnt gone to a dentist in five years, I actually look forward to my dental visits. Their attention to me personally makes me feel like they actually care about you and your well being. They are helpful with explaining and discussing insurance aspects too. Studio 1 is a refreshing dental experience for what use to be a dreaded one for me at other dental offices. I look forward to the rest of my years at Studio 1 as I feel part of their family.

Love my dentist! I love Dr. Berg and his staff because they always make me feel at home and I appreciate that they see me on time. I receive outstanding care in every way. My mom paid a ton of money at a "cosmetic dentist" and now admits the work Dr Berg has done for me looks better, and it cost less. The only bad experience Ive ever had is trying to get my 6 year old out of there at the end of her appointment. She loves the staff, especially Sandi, and always tells me she has to brush her teeth so that her dentist will be proud of her.

I have had a half-dozen dentists do their thing in my mouth and this is the first time I trust one to do what is right for me. I was referred to him for a root canal, and after x-rays and an exam, he told me I did not need one! Most dentists would have done one for the extra $1000. His exam was meticulous. He is the first truly professional dentist I ever found. I switched to Dr Berg and would never go anywhere else.

I dont choose my doctor or my dentist because he is nice or the staff is nice or the price is low. I want quality care. At Dr. Bergs office I get that. The fact that everyone there is so nice and that Im treated like a person and not a number is a plus. The hygienist, Cindy, is excellent, and thats important to me. I believe Ive found the best and feel very fortunate.
