SHAME ON Dr. Garratt…BUYER BEWARE! VSP referred me to Dr. Garratt. I took my glasses in for new lenses and the office called me on Thursday and communicated that they broke my frames while replacing the lenses. No apology, no concession. They just asked me to bring in another frame. I said “but you broke my glasses?” Their response, “you signed paperwork that says we are not liable if we break your glasses”. My response, “but you broke my glasses”. WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE?? I asked if Dr. Garratt would call me directly to discuss.Kristin Gutierrez said, “I am delivering Dr. Garratt’s message”. So, I asked for a refund of the $215 I paid for the lenses and the response was “no, we made the lenses, so you need to bring us a new frame, and if we break them again, we are not liable.” Then she stated, “purchase a frame from us, and we will repair it if we break it.” UNBELIEVABLE! So much for supporting small business.

Ive been seeing Dr. Garratt for roughly 20 years and being a diabetic, I have the utmost confidence that he has not just my vision well-being as a priority, but also my overall health each time I visit for my check-ups. His care and thorough explanation of his findings gives me the comfort that he leaves nothing to chance. He keeps up with new technology that enhances his ability to potentially identify early signs of issues especially with people that have similar health issues like myself. You will not regret having Dr. Garratt as your eye doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Garratt for many years (even though I could get cheaper eye care from my HMO). I am happy with the service he and his staff provides. When I have had problems with the vision or the fit with my contacts, Dr. Garratt works until he gets the problem(-s) corrected. I recommend San Dimas Optometry without hesitation.

Arrived on time for a scheduled appointment but their office was closed. I waited 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment for someone to arrive, then I was greeted by a very snobbish (very short) Latina. The Doctor was very nice, however, after my experience with the snobbish Latina woman, I will not spend my money there, sorry doc.

First time ever having an eye exam. Staff was warm, welcoming and friendly as was the doctor. Everything was explained to me very well and my options were presented in a manner I could understand. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone looking for an eye doctor. You wont be disappointed!

I really like the drs in this office. I feel like they are efficient and take the time to help me best. The only thing I would say in a negative light is I do think that the glasses are a bit high and that the girls are definitely pushing the higher end glasses vs the more affordable pairs.

My husband had an eye exam Friday. By Saturday he was having extreme pain. This office has no oncall service. During his eye exam he was told he had perfect eyes with no sun damage. Our primary called in padaway eyedrops and cipro eye drops to get us through the weekend.

I have been seeing Dr. Garratt now since 1997; have always experienced great service from him and his staff. Being almost legally blind in my Left Eye (now corrected to 20/40) I highly recommend San Dimas Optometry without hesitation.
