These folks are extremely disorganized. You never can reach the last person that you talked with. You will hear many different stories from many different people at Apria. For my order, I heard "ok, well have it tomorrow". Then tomorrow comes and then I hear that this might take another 3-9 days. Wow. Then I get a call saying that they will not ship to me without a credit card number! So how much are you going to charge this card number? Answer: "we dont know". So why do you need this number? Answer: "we need it in case you die and cant pay the final bill". Well you cannot charge a credit card of a dead man. That makes no sense. After further probing, it appears that Apria wants me to "write a blank check" to them in the event that they screw up the insurance and are too lazy to do the paperwork. If I could give these guys a zero, I would. Dont give these guys an unlimited ability to charge your credit card! When faxing them, there is always some kind of a screw-up. It is extremely rare that a large fax will succeed, even if you get the confirm page on your local fax machine as "received". Faxes go to a central number and they often screw up when forwarding the pages to the local office (BTW that forwarding process typically takes 45-60 minutes). In my last case, of a 25 page fax, only one page actually made it! I had to send this whole mess again! Basically Apria can be a never ending hassle. I rate their customer service at -1, less than zero. This can be truly horrific.

Apria has failed to send me my materials that they are supposed to. You can never reach someone on the phone and they have one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I wish someone had told me about them before I selected them as a vendor for my CPAP. Please pick any other company besides them. They are supposed to send me materials regularly but they never do and I have to call them every time I need new disposables. I have never seen such a poorly run organization as Apria and if my medical insurance allowed me to switch vendors I would do so in a heart beat. I have been on the phone for 30 minutes now trying to get things worked out with these guys. They should be shut down and not allowed to do business in this country. THEY ARE THE WORST!

After months of requesting they pick up air compressor & tanks and them refusing to pick them up after I agreed to sign a release form, they now want to send me to collection for not paying a bill that they created by forcing me to keep the equipment. Follow up: My insurance company spoke with Apria while I was on hold at the same time & found out that Apria was not sending them invoice and quoted me my portion of the bill. Sent in check, wrote "paid in full". They cashed the check and three days letter left message on my phone they were sending me to collection for the balance. Something needs to be done about this company. Im telling my doctor that I will refuse to allow/accept any equipment form Apria.

I began the process of replacing my old cpap machine about the middle of April. As of 6/23/15, Apria is now telling me they still havent got everything they need to provide it. There have been miscommunications, incorrect information given to me, and multiple occasions of conflicting advice from so-called Apria trained individuals. There is not a single incorrect claim in the negative reviews the company has gotten except that the reviews are better than Apria deserved. If I could give them a "no star" rating, I would. I am 69 years old, and, until now, have never had to deal with a company as incompetent as this one.

This is the worst business entity existing. They will put you on hold for more than an hour and will cut you off even if you are still talking. They are not sensitive that people who are calling here are 99%disabled. Duh? They will always leave a recording when they try to reach you and when you call back, be prepared for the longest waiting time. They also cheat on shipments, check your receipts. They usually bill you twice, look at your shipment inventory carefully. I wish there is a zero or negative star, they dont deserve a stat at all.

They do not even deserve one star, customer service is perhaps the worst ever, in fact you would look forward to going to the DMV after a visit here. Workers are unwilling and often refuse to answer simple questions on equipment set up. Calling them is an experience in patience as most phone workers can not speak english nor understand why you are calling. They send thugs to your house if you do not submit bullshit paperwork right away. Absolutely, hands down the WORST place I have ever had to deal with.

My word - what a terrible company! In just three months since I started using Apria (unfortunately the only provider for my health insurance company) I have so many bad experiences its almost comical. Unreturned calls, missed supplies, unclear and conflicting instructions and information, uncredited payments (they still havent credited a cash payment I made in March - it is now June!). I dont know how good or bad their competitors are, but if you have a choice then please consider another provider.

Worst. I can even try giving 0 stars to this place. These guys are nuts. They infact blame the customers. My insurance was ready to pay for my wifes pregnancy utility. But, these people kept hanging . And worse, after spending more than 1 week, they call and say that, they cannot order this item as per their company policy until baby is born. Which is a complete BS. First of all, why its non sense, and second of all, why didnt they tell their company policy 10 days advance.

If I could give them negative stars...I would! It took them 2 months to get my wheelchair & hospital bed to me...so I had to pay out of pocket to an out of network provider. Now, trying to get equip. Picked up and they have pushed the pickup time window from 9am-1pm...or wait...5pm...no, by 8 we promise...ok...jk...we will be there by midnight?! UNACCEPTABLE!!!

A week after my doctor wrote the prescription, I called to see when my new CPAP machine would be ready. They could not tell me a date, just that it was not ready. That after the usual unhelpful phone tree and transfers. But the message at the beginning of the phone tree assured me that Aprias goal is to provide excellent customer service. Not doing it today.

Yes, absolutely a lame service company. No record of a detailed order that was placed. Agent did not know any answers to my questions. Nothing was recorded. Put me on hold forever and never came back. This type of company should have top notch service, you are dealing with handicap personss needs that are crucial for time and delivery.
