I have had two disastrous experiences in the last week with this miserable company when I have needed a supplier of medical equipment to provide urgently needed compressor/nebulizer devices to two different little children with acute, severe asthma flare-ups. In both instances the children were sick enough to warrant hospitalization had we not ultimately loaned one of our own office machines for overnight emergency use. Apria gave us the telephone run-around, and in the second situation, advised us that we could send the father to their outlet to pick up a device, but when he arrived they told him that it could not be made available until tomorrow! When we called back we got another run-around followed by a hang-up. If I could find a way to avoid dealing with them, I would do so instantly, but they seem to have lo-balled with the insurance companies who then give them exclusive contracts in our area. There is no reasonable excuse for this kind of arrogant, abusive behavior when little children are involved. Am I furious??? Yes....I am mad as Hell! Couldnt find out hours of the local Apria office in Stockton. I did talk to one person somewhere who actually knew what was happening (refreshing). She told me to call the local branch of Apria, which I tried. Before I went to the local office, wanted to make sure they were open as it was already late in the day. Then when I called I went to robo hell. Then I talked to this idiot that didnt answer my question, but proceeded to tell me what usually happened. Never did get the business hours of the local Apria office. The business hours are not on their web site. They probably dont want to be bothered. I would of given a minus instead of one star, if it were available.

Nothing nice to say! Dad was sent home to be bed ridden with a trachea. 1st issue: sent a broken suction machine, nurse called to get fixed, they said 4 hrs, she said its an emergency, they said, ok 3 hrs. 2nd issue: never delivered nebulizer despite multiple calls and multiple delivery times! 3rd issue: wouldnt deliver breathing tubes that need to be changed out regularly. Obviously hes now hospitalized! What is wrong with you people??!! Customer service are clearly collecting a paycheck but not earning it!!

This place is a scam! CPAP machine, year one with insurance was $8 per month. Year two, could not afford to carry insurance so price went up to $35 per month. Year three, receive a bill for $138. Called them and was informed that the price will be $107 per month, for 13 months. Absolute joke of a company. I was told by Apria in April of 2015 that I would pay a total of $800 and some odd dollars for the unit, now it will be well over $2k. Steer far away from these scam artists!!
