I ordered oxygen tanks and oxygen concentrator service. I confiI ordered oxygen tanks and oxygen concentrator service. I confirmed with the representative that these should be delivered to my Central Valley address, and not my sisters San Francisco address, where I had spent months recuperating after surgery. On the day of delivery I was given a four-hour delivery window of 11 am to 3 pm. At 3:10 pm I called and verified that this was the most updated ETA for the technician. I selected option to speak to a representative, who told me my delivery time had been updated to a new four-hour window of 2:45-6:45 pm. WHAT?! She contacted dispatch, at my request, and tells me I am the next delivery after the technicians break. I wait some more... After 5 pm (or about 1.5 hours later), I speak to "Dean" (5 Stars to Dean!), who learns from dispatch that the tech is "on his way." Dean, however, notices that I have an oxygen concentrator service scheduled for the Central Valley and oxygen tanks being delivered to San Francisco! Good grief! He is going to contact his supervisor to fix the issue and escalate my delivery. My one star is not just for todays imbroglio, as this is not an isolated incident. It is a PATTERN. Following surgery in SF and recuperation at my sisters, my tanks were delivered to my home despite specific directions to deliver to SF. Also, the day I was released from the hospital, my best friend waited hours outside the delivery window for a concentrator and tanks to be arrive. They finally were delivered after 9:30 pm, at which time the hospital would release me. Apria is a nightmare to deal with and the people they have taking orders are incompetent or just dont care. They need to hire more representatives like Dean. Oh, its 6:10 pm and I am still waiting (over seven hours) for my concentrator service. Goodness knows when the tanks will arrive. Sigh . . . UPDATE: "Mike" the tech just called (6:25 pm) and claims he was at my gated community at 3:50 pm. Claims he couldnt get in through the gate (Apria trucks come through here all the time and in my years here have yet to hear this excuse). Why did you not call me, Mike? He claims he did not have my number to call me. When I ask why he did not call the Apria office for my number, he claims he had no cell phone service. Seriously?! It all sounded like BS. Worse, HE acted completely put out that HE had to drive back to Patterson from Modesto!! Gee, wiping the tears, Mike...I have been waiting for delivery since 11 am, Ive had to make multiple calls to Apria, and you think youll be here by 7 pm. Lets not forget I am the inconvenienced customer, NOT you. At least this snarky fellow will be delivering tanks and servicing my concentrator. I agree with the reviewer that said Apria must have offered Kaiser Permanente a great rate. Otherwise, these folks would be out of business.

Poor service! I was supposed to have medical equipment delivered within 5 days as told by reps. Insurance approved it 100% and Apria had my order in their system "in progress". After the 5 days, I was told 3 different days that I would get a call ahead and my equipment the following day when it never happened. I needed the equipment by Friday because my surgery was on Thursday the day before and I was then told that a supervisor would put an expedited message on the order and I would get it that very evening. I waited from 9am to 8pm, still nothing. I verified my phone number and address each time only to be mislead again. 8 phone calls, each time put on hold, transferred around, and finally not taking any chances on my well being, I called an outside company and got a rental which I paid out of my own pocket. Ridiculous!

Absolute worst Cust Serv EVER! Ive been waiting for my CPAP machine over a month. There is always an excuse. The latest is they Finally tried to deliver the CPAP via FedEx(after I told them I cant accept FedEx). I am not home during the day to sign for the machine. They were supposed to get back with me over a week ago about how else to get this, and Ive heard nothing. Terrible business. They dont seem to care about anything but pumping out orders. Apria is the largest supplier in the country, and Im not sure how they got there with YaHoos like this distributing their products. Frankly, they are not distributing them if anyone else is having the same problem I am having. I highly suggest to find a different company if you can avoid this one.

They truly dont care if a patient is out of oxygen. They recieved a new prescription from my doctors on Thursday. I called explaining I had only half tank left. The service center set me up for a delivery on Saturday and Chris called from Modesto and said he would not deliver until Monday. My doctor called and nurse called and they told my doctor if its that bad and I need oxygen them to send me to the hospital. Wow I hope this never happens to one of Chris family members.

The worst company to deal with! They cant seem to credit our payments to the correct account then threaten us with collections. Have lost information that needed to be submitted to our insurance company then didnt follow up on claims for an entire year. I will NEVER do business with them again! Would have gotten 0 starts if I could have

Supposed to have a new battery for my portable oxygen concentrator delivered on Friday. Rep. didnt show up. Called Monday morning and was told that they would bring it that day. Its Tuesday & I still dont have the battery.

Customer service is TERRIBLE! The "central service call center" is clueless as to what actually happens in the Individual office locations. Such an inconvenience to all of the customers. Hate dealing with Apria
