I wish I could give ZERO stars. READ Dr. Terrells one and two and three star reviews please. Look at other reviews of his practice on other sites and be forewarned. You get exactly what you pay for here. Ive had horrible experience with this veterinarian on a few occasions and three times was a strike out. I wrote to the state veterinarian review board to have him investigated. He dosed my cat with flea medication without asking for my permission. If he had, then he would have known that she has severe allergic reaction to topical flea meds. My cat went into hyper salivation, lethargy and confusion. I had to take her to an emergency vet to have her treated. Doctor Terrell and or his staff over medicated my cat with anesthesia and sedatives for surgical removal of her eye, and released her to me before she had recovered , but instead should have been appropriately confined to a small cage until all drugs wore off. My cats seized that early morning and I rushed her to Dr. Terrell, where she nearly died from respiratory failure. If you are insistent on visiting Dr.Terrell make sure to quiz him before he treats your pet. I experienced him as to having a flat affect to his personality and almost cavalier attitude toward treatment, as if he does not care. You may mistake his eerie calmness. God, I wish I could tell all of you to run the other way. Please,, Please do not let you pet fall into a surgery with this man. Please be very careful and read the reviews.

I have taken my dog here about three times with issues with his stool. Firstly, it seemed as if the doctors were scared of my dog, I was charged for a "check up" and the doctor didnt even touch my pup. They tested his stool and he ended up having a parasite and giving us medication for it. My dog got better and after a couple of weeks his bloody stool returned. This happened two more times, where they didnt even test him or his stool and simply prescribed more medication. Each time I got charged for another "check up". So yes this veterinarian office is "affordable" if they actually get to curing your pet the first time you go, but since they dont actually fix the problem and you have to go in multiple times with the same issues it ends up costing just as much as a high end veterinarian. I would however like to recognize the kind ladies in the front, they were constantly checking in on us and were nice to my scared dog all while checking in clients, receiving phone calls and dealing with nurses, doctors and technical difficulties.

The only reason I liked going here was because of one or two of the ladies at the front desk, other then that I was trying not to show my disgusted face the whole time I was in one of the rooms with my dog. It was so unsanitary and the sink was basically falling off of the wall. I brought my dog in for a foxtail, the doctor came in the room for maybe 3 minutes, found it then came back with a charge payment of over $550. I know these things can be expensive, which is understandable, but $120 of the fee was for locating it (it was visabally in between her toes) and this fee was based off the doctors decision, and another $100 was for Just coming in the room with us basically. If Im going to be charged this much, I would at least expect a clean facility and a professional looking veterinarian, which is not what you will find here. Keep looking is my best advice.

Worst vet ever! IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET DO NOT TAKE HERE. first of all the people working there are not qualfied. Dr. is horrible and does not take responsibility for his mistakes. I took my puppy there for shots thinking it would be ok just for shots...I was wrong! The facility is so un-sanitized, my puppy was exposed to kennel cough. Within 1 wk all 3 of my dogs had the cough. The Dr dud not advise me of any risks to my other dogs. Would not prescribe rx for them unless they had symptoms. He ended up charging me over $600 for all my dogs to be treated and told me it was not his responsibility until the animal is in the exam room! This is BS! as soon as a animal enters the facility it IS HIS RESPONSIBILITY! I will never go to this vet again! I'm working with a lawyer to take him to court and reporting him for malpractice...

I went here for my cat, she had an infection around a few of her teeth. They gave us anti-bionics, did a teeth cleaning, and gave her some fluid via IV because she hadnt been eating. Did x-rays of her abdomen as-well, because she expressed pain in that area, but they came out showing nothing. She clearly felt much better soon after we left and is continuing to do well. My suggestion to this business is maybe a little better sanitation practices, and tell the staff to be a little more friendly, most were but one or two werent. But all in all, I am happy with the service and the price. There are people writing reviews on this place based on things they have heard, and never actually went there themselves. If I made arguments with such lack of evidence at my job I would probably be fired.

They get more stars than 5 in my book! Ernie loves Dr. Terrell and all the staff. In fact, I believe he faked being sick at times--JUST to go hang at the vet clinic. He never really got that excited to see me when it was time to go home, so apparently, maybe he was too spoiled. I recently moved out of state and just know that I will not find a vet clinic that has been as awesome, helpful, loving and accommodating as Affordable animal clinic. They are really warm and friendly and I know they undercharged me on so many occasions. As a military reservist in a bind to find a cat sitter while my Ernie needed insulin shots, they gladly opened up the place for my little orphan Ernie. We miss you, Dr. T and all....

if your broke and you love your animal this is NOT your best option out there. ive saddly went to this place numbers of times, all with poor results. my cat got an anestesia shot in his leg for a small sist to get cleaned, but they hit a WRONG nerve causing the cat to have to loose its leg and tail. my friend took two very young pups to get seen and they were turned away without any help. about four hours later both three week old baby bull terriers died of possible parvo. now on my dog, they misdiognose a black widow bite for a snake bite and had us wait for 2hrs in waiting area while dogs foot was bleading from the black wound. YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET. your pet may have a better chance some where else.

I have been bringing my minature pincher here sence we got her. Yesterday we went in for her x-rays because she is pregnant it did not cost 340.00 as another posting stated it was 195.00 for 2 views. They confirmed the amount of puppys she was going to be having and when I asked to see the x rays the doctor took me and 3 children back to see them, he even offered to make us a cd of the x rays. I have 3 dogs and they have all had their medical done here I have never had a problem we have always gotten in fast everyone there is real nice and they dont try to sell you things you dont need. Dispite all the bad reviews I am so GLAD I have chosen them to care for my dogs. They do a great job.
