We took my 5 month old grand daughter in because she was pulling on her ear and teething. WHY would they do an ultrasound, strep test, take blood FROM HER LITTLE ARM and attempt to put a catheter in her????!!!! 5 months old. Teething. Seriously? I have no idea what the hell is wrong with this hospital or what kind of incompetent idiot is running it. It is a death trap. Unnecessary tests, idiot Doctors, no room. My poor daughter (first time Mommy) went through so much emotional pain, crying because her baby was being poked and prodded....all while were sitting in the freaking hall so everyone can watch. They took babys diaper off, right in front of God and everyone. There was no reason for this. Turns out, there was NOTHING wrong. My granddaughter was teething. Thats it. And what this hospital did to one of my residents....I hope to GOD my residents sue. Unbelievable. Thats a whole different story and not mine to tell... but I just wanted to give my 2 cents. I will not visit this hospital again. Oakdale it is. I will say this, though, we had a wonderful young man nurse. He was so sweet. He got us a private room after a couple hours. He was very thoughtful and attentive. I cant say that about anyone else there. They all act like they dont care about anyone. Were only their paycheck. Sad sad sad. I am so disappointed in this hospital. I am filing complaints even though I know nothing will come of it. Nobody will ever have to take responsibility for their terrible actions and its not right.

Just checked for the hospitals Mission on their website. Very sad to say none of it was accomplished in my visit. ER staff were rude. Very nasty attitude from both nurses and the doctor that treated me. I came in - in severe pain, looking for professional care to help relieve it. Instead I was mocked for my pain and called "over dramatic" mainly by the discharge nurse who also called security to escort me out because according to her "I was yelling" when in reality she never even let me speak and left me talking by to myself TWICE! Both times she left the room claiming I was refusing to sign the papers to be discharged. When (again) she never let me speak. I dont think she even heard anything I tried to say, as she kept talking over me- not even the part where I told her Im pregnant and cannot be stressed!! I came in - in SEVERE pain & booted out crying, feeling worse and truly regretting my visit to the ER. All staff were bad but this nurse was the worst of all. Very disgusting attitude. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOURE IN AN EMERGENCY LOOKING FOR HELP/PAIN RELIEF. Seriously, youll have a horrible experience! Definetly last time Ill ever visit this ER. Cant even say some did ok by rating each staff individually, not one met a single quote in the mission for your hospital.

Although this review is directed to the medical center as a whole, the primary experience is related to the medical staff in the Birthing Center on the second floor. On, Saturday, April 29th 2017, our Daughter was taken in with pregnancy complications. Full term, but the babys heartbeat wasnt detected. Ultimately our unborn grandbaby had died just prior to being born. Over the course of the next two days as our Daughter endured the labor and birthing process, the staff in the birthing center were absolutely incredible. Their sensitivity, compassion and concerns were very much evident. I am approaching 60 years old and over the course of my adult life, I have had many experiences in hospitals related to myself and or other family members. The team of nurses, attendants and doctors in the birthing center here were, and are, by far the the best I have ever seen. As I mentioned, the events occurred over the course of a few days. That being said, unfortunately, I cant remember the names of those who attended our Daughter throughout this very sad time for us. However, I am sure that you know who you are. Our Granddaughter "Cadence" will forever be connected to you in this respect. Thank you !!

Terrible service. Have a laceration in my eye. I told the doctor three times in the clinic my pain level is as high as I have ever had it. He tried to put some eye drops in, which instantly made things worse. I was told to pick up eye drops and the pharmacy, however when I arrived they said no order was made. So I called the clinic to tell them my eye continues to get worse, and there is no meds at the pharmacy. They then told me there was no meds, and I was wrong in the nurse telling me this......Even though we talked about how to administer the drops, and what pharmacy I preferred. Then I told them my pain was off the charts, and they told me to wait till the morning and come back in.........To top that off, the nurse was really rude, hung up on my twice and pretended it was because I was yelling. Well, I think she (Amanda) just had a case of the I dont give a F_ _ _. Now I am in terrible pain, havent slept in over 36 hours and no end in sight. Thanks for the Compassion.

Broken nose = ER visit. Doctors and staff very kind and professional. They get five stars. Im giving this hospital one star because they are running a racket. Unless you are seriously concerned for your life, decline all CT Scans here and likely any Radiology or youll get a heart attack when your bill comes. I was charged $6,629 for two CT scans that took no more than 20 minutes. According to Healthcare Bluebook a Brain CT in Sonora should cost $414 and a Face CT $468. That adds up to $882 so Sonora Regional Medical Center took advantage of my accident and overcharged me $5,747 or 652%!! They also tried to give me a Spinal CT which I declined since it was clearly not needed. I did that to avoid the radiation but now know I likely saved myself over $3,000! Again, this hospital is running a Radiology Racket.

This Place has always had the worst care and some of the worst drs with attitudes to boot. As the largest employer in the county you would think that they would strive to not only treat their patients better but their employees. They treat them badly and walk all over them. If this state wasnt a no fault they would have been sued a million times over. The HR department is the biggest joke. Tyler may be going places but as long as hes running things the moral and care is only going to get worse. This place is going down.

Nursing staff was great yet spread thin...the place is filthy and I waited 7 hours for an ultra sound for a blood clot in my leg. They apologized for the wait, but only after they figured out I had been a nurse for 20 years and I knew what was really going on. I watched a Mom with a daughter struggling with pain from a newly fractured arm get so upset about the treatment that they walked out. This is no way for a hospital to treat their community. I would not recommend going here.

Last May I was hospitalized for a UTI that had become serious enough to need IV antibiotics. The hospital staff caught this problem after I had been in the ER for another reason. They called me at home and told me to get to the ER as soon as possible and I needed to be admitted . The nursing staff was wonderful. They treated me with respect and compassion. . They only negative of my stay was the food. I was there for a week and the food left a lot to be desired.
