Ive been to many western dentals but this one has got to be the WORST by far. They set up appointments and it doesnt matter if youre there a HOUR early they will still make you wait 30minutes Or more after the time your appointment was initially set. One of the dr.s prescribed antibiotic to the wrong kid, it was suppose to be for my older daughter but she prescribed it for my younger daughter. we didnt find that out till a month later when my daughter went back to see the specialist And he seen my older daughter had a really bad infection that could of been treated earlier if the dr. Paid attention to what she was doing. I even asked him if my younger daughter had an infection and he tells me "No I didnt see any infection with her"... its unprofessional Also I paid over $2,000 for my braces payment a few months ago, after I got confirmation that my payment went through I set myself up a appointment being I havent had a appointment in OVER 6MONTHS for tightening, they tell me they couldnt do anything until they hear from the other western dental I went to and they were gonna let me know information in a WEEK, it has now been a MONTH and still havent heard anything from the ortho guy "DUSTY" Ive called N left messages EVERY WEEK this month N STILL NOTHING. Ive even called and complained that my teeth are sore because my right bottom side is forming a big gap between my teeth which gets sore and I also told them my JAW has been bothering me for MONTHS And they STILL have yet to call me and let me know anything. So I have UNTREATED BRACES on and its been OVER 7months now that I havent got any treatment. I can go ON N ON about this place. they even told me that depending on the other dentist They might have to remove my braces N Id have to pay for that N then they can put on NEW braces N Id have to RESTART my WHOLE payment for that as well. This place is horrible.

I made an appointment for a knocked out tooth for today via their toll free number (apparently Tracy office does not open till 9am). I was sent to 4 different departments, and then by 9am, they FINALLY transferred me to their Direct Tracy office. I was on the phone for 7 minutes just being bounced around! The receptionist or whomever it was named "William", answered the phone. I told him this was an emergency and if the Dr. could see me in between patients today. He said theyre sooo booked. And that I have to call the TOLL FREE NUMBER AGAIN...to see if they can squeeze me in on their end. Thing is.....I told William of my situation. I just started a job two weeks ago, my benefits havent kicked in yet...and without my knocked out tooth...I cant speak to a group...which is what Im required to do. He proceeded to LAUGH! He apparently thought it was FUNNY! Imagine haveing a knocked out front tooth AND having to speak in front of a group of people??? I told him I need to be fitted for at least a flipper until my perms come in (yes I know how it works) , and when I mentioned to him I need my tooth to talk and eat and such..he STILL laughed. So when I mentioned the toll free number had transferred me 4 times and now hes going to transfer me BACK.....he laughed! So I called the toll free myself and cancelled. I mentioned what he did, and told them that I found ANOTHER dentist that takes a payment plan and treated me a lot better than William did....the Rep clammed up! Yes I really did find another dentist in Tracy that were more professional and very personable. I dont know what kind of customer service skills they train these people at WD to perform (if any skills at all!) but Western Dental is a horrible place to get dental care! HIPPA or no HIPPA!

DO NOT GO HERE if you do run from DR L, Andrew the office manager cannot make a decision on his own, he only goes by what the doctor says, I have bottom partial dentures and went to these idiots for a few crowns, INSTEAD of making the crowns fit my dentures they made my partials fit the crowns, now my dentures do not fit, I have followed procedure and filed a grievance with their coorporate office they took their FULL 30 days to decide if they would do right AND NO they have denied me, so on to a law suit we go, also I have contacted BBB and the Dental board. I begged to this DR L to not send me home with dentures she knows I need to be able to eat and that they were not like this when I got there she told Andrew I was fine and to go home, so it has been 30 days I cannot eat even a grape with these in the kill my mouth and thank god I have gone to another dentist before these quacks got a hold of me and after and the dentist noted the sores in my mouth due to the way these dentures fit me now, my advice spend the extra money on YOURSELF, DO NOT save and go here YOU WILL BE SORRY, also read from others what they all have to say about western dental! We also know a dental teacher at one of the colleges when she heard about this she told me that she tells all of her students never to work here! BE SAFE LOOK OUT FOR YOU!!! The coorpoarte ofice has denied doing anything to fix this situation so I am proceeding on seeking an attorney, in the meantime have filed with BBB and the Dental Assoc, RUN DONT WALK FROM WESTERN DENTAL!!!

I am completely unsatisfied with this office. I have had my braces on for FIVE years. In the beginning my mother had trouble with the payments but we have been on top of payments and appointments for a long time now. Each time I go into Ortho, they do nothing but change my bands. My teeth have not progressed for the past 2-3 years. I ask my doctor every appointment what else they have to do and I never receive a straight answer. The last appointment I had they asked ME what the game plan was for my missing teeth when they previously assured me that they knew what they were doing with me. I feel as if I am being lied to and taken advantage of for my money. A month or so ago the general side tried having me pay for a cleaning every 3 months rather than 6 which is what my insurance covers and when I refused they were very RUDE and made me wait 2 hours in the chair with no update. They were also harassing me to purchase a $100-$200 toothbrush from them. When they hand my papers to sign and I make a habit to read what I am signing, they will get VERY impatient and rude and say "Just sign it." I have been avoiding taking my business elsewhere because I believe that after bugging them in every single appointment for FIVE years that they would do their damn job and get my braces off ASAP. Alas, they are horrible and I would never wish anybody to receive service here. No matter how much you contact corporate or complain to the workers first-hand, they will not change their service.
