We moved to Vallejo 3 years ago and the most important item was to secure competent veterinary care for our precious dogs. Fortunately we found Broadway Pet Hospital. Prior to our first visit, I read many reviews about this hospital. Some were good and some were horribly terrible. Upon investigation, I found that Broadway Pet had been serving the community under the competent, professional and kind guidance of Dr. Ladhar (Dr. Harry) for almost 40 years. I am a 73 year old senior citizen and have seen it all and heard it all including comments made about Dr. Harry and his caring staff. I have noticed that in all my years there are selfish and mean spirited people who expect and demand services and prices to be what they want and if you do not relent to them, they will take you down verbally on the internet and attempt to destroy you. REAL SMART; take down the veterinarian and his staff who you want to care for your pet. If this hospital were doing everything wrong, they would not still be here after all these years. I have found the care at this hospital to be kind, caring and professional. If anyone has doubts about my sincerity in recommending this hospital and its warm hearted staff, remember this if you are deciding about using them; when we had to put our loving Golden Retriever, Max, to sleep, Dr. Harry and his staff cried with us. Please do not doubt the quality of care that you will receive from these caring professionals. They also sent to donation in memory of Max to the U.C. School of Veterinary Medicine. These are the people who will always care for our animals. Ken Nahigian and Carol Hanson

This place is terrible! I know that it is cheap, that is the reason I initially took my cats there. However, the last time I brought my cats in to be groomed the Dr., without checking the chart, sedated my my 9 yr old cat (who is by far the most docile cat Ive ever met in my life!) Then the staff didnt bother to tell me when I picked them up. I had to call and rant inorder to be put through directly to the doctor who at first denied the incident and then later confessed his complete lack of attentiion. This cat has never even had an exam with the doctor! Ive been explained in great detail the importance of examination before sedation because the cats heart my stop, if it isnt healthy enough. My cat was NEVER examined there, let alone within the 6 month window that they will sedate a cat without an new examination. If you care for your pets, as Im sure you do, DO NOT take them here! Anywhere and at Any price is a better option!

Worst vet in Vallejo all they care about is making money and every procedure is overly priced. I took my cat for a checkup because she had stopped eating. They told me that she might have cancer or a tumor under her tongue because it was ripped and damaged. They suggested surgery to stitch up the tongue immediately and so i did and they charged me a ton of money. After the surgery they took a sample of her tongue meat and sent it to the lab and charged me extra money for the results and it was bad news. She got cancer and recommended me to go to a specialist in uc davis for chemotherapy. There was no way i could afford that so i decided to stop taking her to this terrible vet. I now have no option but to put her to sleep because she has lost over 3 pounds and cannot eat anything whatsoever. she is suffering and have no other option left. Thanks a lot broadway pet hospital

I highly recommend Broadway Pet Hospital for its animal care and treatment. In an emergency they are always available to treat my pet. Even when they were very busy, they always managed to fit in an emergency appointment and to arrive at a threatment plan to fit both my pets health and my budget needs. The doctors and the staff are knowledgable, helpful and caring about the animals. Their rates are very reasonable and they take into consideration individual financial situations to work out payment plans for honest and reliable clientele they have come to know throughout the years. Their office environment is spacious, immaculately clean. They have state-of-the-art equipment and a very nice pet boarding facility. They are highly efficient and conscientious in their dedication to treat and heal our pets. They deserve more than 5 stars!

DO NOT take your pets here. I took my dog there for boarding yesterday, while I am in town for a family members surgery. I was only gone for 7 hours. They did not pay him any attention even tho they stated "he did seem to be uncomfortable and suffered separation anxiety". They did walk him but he still managed to poop in his kennel, which got all over him. When I picked him up, he had dry poop all over. Even on his face. Last night once at home, he was limping and had diarrhea from the stress its caused. They gave some crappy excuses to why he now is acting out of character and clearly in pain as he almost doesnt want to walk. Take the time and find an office that would show your dog some compassion when theyre scared......dont go here!!

A few years ago I acquired a white stray male cat with half of his tail ripped off, and the tail was terribly infected. I was able to get antibiotics in tablets on credit, as I am already a customer there. Then When I realized his tail wasnt getting better, I called Broadway, even though I had no money. Melanie said, "Just bring him in." So he ended up needing a tail amputation. My sister lent me $100 to put down and they allowed me to pay off the other $200 in monthly installments. Fran even gave me flea drops on credit while I still way paying for the amputation balance.I also get a better price for the type and amount of flea drops I buy from Broadway Pet Hospital than online.

I may have taken a little bit of time to warm up to Dr. Harry, but that may have been on me since I am a bit of a joker at heart. But since going to him I have found he and his staff of wonderful people, caring, compassionate and loving. He and the whole staff have the wellfare of my baby first and foremost in their minds. They have huge hearts and I could not have taken my daughter to a better hospital. I shall always be glad I stuck it out a little longer so I could see the caring man behind the vet. He will always have my personal gratitude for having taken such good care of my Xie Xie. Thanx for a wonderful experience!

We have been going here for 5+ years ! Doctor Harry and his team have been there for us through Pet allergies, surgeries, x-rays, blood tests, same day visits, annual exams, grooming, boarding, and the passing of our last pup. After the passing of our Niner we received a letter from Broadway a few weeks later. They had donated money to UC Davis Veterinary Medicine on behalf of Niner! I would recommend Broadway to anyone that is looking for a an amazing Pet Hospital. Sure after we moved we now have a vet closer to us...but it is our CHOICE to bring our new baby here.
