My family has been taking our animals to River Road Veterinary Clinic since it was owned by the previous vet -Dr Guptil. My Moms file actually went back to 1967! The staff at River Road Veterinary Clinic goes above & beyond other veterinary clinics I have encountered, giving special care/love that others do not. Dr Lamb is a phenomenal vet, whom our family has a very close relationship with, after years of his special attention to all of our animals. His kindness is just amazing. He goes out of his way to make sure our animals are healthy & happy, without breaking the bank! All of of the staff & vets here are wonderful & I wouldnt trust another veterinary clinic with our babies. You cant beat their hours-7am-9pm, & theyre able to get you in the same day. Theyve also been wonderful to our friends & families pets as well. Id trust River Road Veterinary Clinic with your special babies & know theyve always been extremely compassionate with ours. Ive never had a bad experience with anyone in the clinic, which I cannot say is true with others in the area. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I am speechless. I have never been to an Animal Hospital that was so kind and caring, from the initial phone call where they were able to get me in within thirty minutes, to the ladies that were there to great me as soon as I walked in. The kindness didnt stop there, Dr. Pam was more then helpful in helping diagnosis my Little Man and giving me options moving forward, it wasnt the best news but her nice words and ideas went a long way in making things better. Just when I thought it wouldnt get any better I met the office manager Leslie, she was considerate of my circumstances and helped relieve a lot of the stress during this not so great time. Thank you all very much, I appreciate everything you did today. I highly recommend River Road Animal Hospital, they treat you and your fur buddies like you matter, they arent just after your money like the VCAs.

The EXTREMELY Caring Professional Loving Compassionate Staff. We have used RIVER ROAD for several years for both our personal and work service pets. Cant say enough good about them. After being misdiagnosed by other Vets, River Road save our beloved Kyana (100 lb.Siberian Husky mix) from parvo at 2yrs old, infected female organs at 13 yrs. and were extremely helpful when working with us to make her comfortable in her later years a she painfully suffered from arthritis. At age 16 she was rushed to them barely breathing and bleeding out. I was sobbing but watched the staff remove her from my car lovingly and respectfully, treating her as if she was their own. They were very considerate, comforting and caring when they had to break the news she had passed. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND RIVER ROAD TO EVERYONE WHO LOVES THEIR PETS.

What an absolute horrid, nightmarish experience. After coming to terms with putting our aging dog down we were met with the most uncompassionate and judgmental staff weve ever met. They encouraged medication for a “possible” torn ACL on our 11 year old 90 pound lab. At this point he could hardly walk. Getting up and down caused him excruciating pain to which he cried. When we spoke with the office manager about this horrible experience she said she would refund our office visit fee. Lo and behold, they never did. Our decision to put him down did not come lightly and took weeks to come to terms with. Interestingly, when we took him to South Hill Vet we had just the opposite experience. They were the most warm and understanding office in such a tremendously difficult situation. I wouldnt recommend River Road to my worst enemy.

We have taken all our pets to River Road since 1988 and have always been very happy with the care and compassion they have received, as well as the utmost concern and consideration for us, their caretakers. The doctors and staff have always been considerate of our needs as well as the care and comfort of our beloved furry kids. To saving their lives, treating them through catastrophic illness, to finally helping us say goodbye when the time came, everyone at River Road has always been wonderful to us and our pets. Sure theyre sometimes more rushed than at other times, but I have never had them act like they didnt have time for me or my pets. Theyre busy because they are good, and because they work so hard to give everyone the time they need.

First of all, let me say River Road Animal Hospital is VERY lucky to have Dr. Kurt Riemer on staff. We have gone to Dr. Riemer since he was located in Enumclaw. We now drive to Puyallup to see him. He is the most compassionate Veterinarian there is. If you have a pet with Cancer Dr. Riemer is the one to see. I beleive our Labrador Harley would not be with us today if it wasnt for Kurt saving his life by removing a Mast Cell Tumor that had wrapped around his leg muscle. Not to mention a couple of bouts of other sickness. He sees all of our pets and does a fabulous job. His front office staff is also and amazing group of people and so is his technicians. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

Been going there for over 20 years. I have raised 4 pit bulls and the staff has always made me and my dogs welcome and at ease. I have entrusted them in the 1st shots and exams when I have had a new dog in my life and they have been there for me when I have taken the same dog in 12+ years later when its time to deal with and age the inevitable passing. I have taken in my fathers cats when he passed away(my father was a hoarder and the the cats where almost like indoor ferals-hard to handle) but the staff once again, examined, vaccinated , the whole nine yards, so I could take them home and give them a good life. Yeah these guys are great, my other fave is Sumner Vet.

There are so many vets there, we finally had to be specific about which vet we wanted to see, Dr. Molten has been the vet we have felt the most comfortable with and who seems to care. I will wait for her over seeing one of the male vets there. Our dog is like our child, so this is really important! The phone service is sometimes friendly and sometimes very short. Most of the time you are put on hold right away, which doesnt bother me, but then the time I am not put on hold I am dealt with as if they are in a big hurry. Vets and Doctors still are running a business, and we can choose where we want to go, if the service isnt consistent I may find a new place.

I have been taking my dog, Minnie, here since she was a pup. This is the ONLY vet (out of the 4 to 5) i have experienced that i trust 100% with my dogs life. Minnie has under gone a few medical issues. The latest and scariest was Addisons Disease. It took doctors a few months to diagnose her but once they did they did everything in their power to get her well. THIS VET is NOT about money (Like most. I had one vet quote me for $600 to give my dog an IV of fluids and hold her one night).. These doctors and staff truely care for their patients and that is thier top priority. I would reccomend this animal hospital to anyone and everyone!
