They refused to discuss our cats diagnosis with us. They gave us medicine to treat her, and we later learned that when we got her treatment refilled, they decided to change her medication without informing us. At one point, one of their employees mentioned to us that the treatments they give us are not actually the products listed on the labels, as they will open things up and add additional medications that they feel are necessary, without labeling them. When we asked them about all of this, they told us that their belief was that most pet owners are not well enough informed to make competent decisions about the treatment of their pets, and so their policy was to not provide information to pet owners so that the owners would have no way of trying to be involved in decisions about treatment. In the end, we took our cat to another vet, and learned that, because of improper treatment at Maple Leaf Pet Cornet, our cat had nearly died. Fortunately, our new vet has helped us to undo the damage caused by the improper treatment from Maple Leaf Pet Corner. We will absolutely never take another pet here.

This small, intimate clinic has restored my faith in veterinary medicine! After visiting a really mediocre vet closer to our house who pushed unnecessary treatments, we sought out a small practice with glowing reviews on google and yelp. I called them to ask some questions about their philosophy etc,. and Dr. Karen came onto the phone immediately - wow!!! She spoke with me for at least 20 mins, just a nice friendly chat. We could not get our last vet on the phone come hell or high water!! The place is so relaxed and chilled. The animals being boarded just hang out and wander around. Buzz, Karens dog is a wonderful maitre dhotel and greets the visitors with his sweet little under bite face! So cute! When we paid the bill, I felt no need whatsoever to look at the breakdown of costs - immediate, complete and utter trust and I could not be happier with her. Yay, Karen!! A woman doing it all!!

I started taking my dog to Maple Leaf when she was just 6 months old. My sweet dog, who is a rescue and quite terrified of people is a different dog when we go the vet. She is easygoing, relaxed and just loves Dr. Hoffman. Because she had such a good experience early on, she seems to assume anyone in that building is okay. Shell let people touch her, whereas out in the real world, she tries to get away. She also likes other dogs to keep their distance, but shell let the clinics mascot dog walk right up to her and she shows no fear or upset. I have no complaints whatsoever, and even referred someone to them who was also very happy with the care she received for her cat at the end of the cats life.

I love the staff at Maple Leaf Pet Corner. Dr Hoffman goes out of her way to make sure you know what is going on with your pet and what they can do. I have had a couple pet "emergencies" and they got us in quickly and were able to make our babies feel as good as new. I love that we could drop our kitty off before going into work and they called me after the initial exam, called back with an estimate of the recommended treatment, and then called back after the tooth extraction to give me an update on how he was doing. They are thoughtful, calm under pressure, and dont press you into spending money you dont have to. Thank you Maple Leaf Pet Corner for taking care of my pups and kitty!

With my high-maintenance diabetic panther and all the places he and I have lived, I can safely say that Dr. McNeal and the folks at Maple Leaf Pet Corner are the best at what they do anywhere in the country (let alone in Seattle). They are all incredibly smart, pragmatic, and efficient. Theyre also open and kind - it has never been a problem that Draco doesnt do crates, nor do they hide their more difficult-to-watch procedures (like drawing blood) in the back behind closed doors. Its a tragedy that I cant take them to our next home, but Dr. McNeal and her team saved my best friends life on numerous occasions, so I guess we cant be greedy.

Dr. Hofmann is amazing. As my wife and I are both in the medical/dental field, I really appreciate how honest and great she is. Her surgical skill, knowledge, "petside" manner, and calmness make MLPC an amazing place. We have brought our 7 year old goldendoodle there since she was 8 wks old and unfortunately has run into more surgeries due to mast cell tumors. Every time, Gucci comes out with zero complications. We are proud to recommend Dr. Hofmann!!

I have been taking to see Dr. Karen Konz-Hoffman for a little over 2 years and she is the best Vet that I have ever known. She has worked hard to take care of my cat. She is sweet, thoughtful, caring, and professional. Her and her staff follow up on the care of your pet. She is phenomenal with animals and I will sing her praises forever!!! Go see her with your pet!!!!

We bring our dog Stevie to Dr. Konz and he is always happy to get there. Maple Leaf Pet Corner is small and feels very homey. Stevie runs around and plays with Dr. Konz dog Buzz. Unlike a lot of veterinary centers, it is a much less stressful environment for the patients. We love it there and they always take good care of us.

If you are looking for affordable Vet care, this is not the place. The vet service was okay the cost was more than I could afford and when I called I told them I need low cost- they said come in and then the bill more then a 100.00 to tell me it was a cold...I will not be back, cant afford it.
