Just saw "Dr.” Weidman pontificating on a vaccine spot on the Jimmy Kimmel show. Amazing--this is advice coming from a guy that missed a diagnosis of type 1 diabetes in my two year old son. This after I told him that my son had the cardinal signs and a family history. Dr. Weidman said that he probably had anemia because he was drinking so much milk--and calcium binds to iron. He ran the test and it was negative. He wouldn’t test for diabetes and instead said “we’ll keep an eye on that and test when he can pee in a cup.” Got the chart notes out tonight(we got copies when we left) to look at them. There is not a word to be found on that date’s exam about my concern with the symptoms of diabetes. ( I am a health care provider and know those are things that should be recorded in the chart) What did he write? “Decrease milk intake” (brilliant) When the symptoms continued we bought a drugstore glucometer and tested him ourselves. Fasting sugar of 367 . I also needed to follow through with two other incidents with my daughters-one involving a penicillin allergy and one involving breathing issues due to enlarged tonsils. We finally switched doctors. But if you want to rant about vaccines, this is the place to go.

Dr. Weidman is an exceptionally brilliant and intuitive pediatrician. We have three children ranging from 2 yrs to 17 yrs, and transferred after none of the other physicians could diagnose and treat our sons illness. But what has earned him everyones loyalty is his empathy for his patients - especially the nervous parents. I have called him on a Sunday morning concerned that my baby had a high fever and cough. Dr. Weidman opened his office instead of sending us to the ER or forced us to wait until regular office hours the following day. I can always call him 24/7 and it is very reassuring to know that he personally knows every patent. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes to see him - and can always schedule a sick visit the same day. And, although not important - he is also unaffected by his many celebrity patients.

Dr. Weidman is truly one of the finest physicians I have ever encountered. He is smart, down-to-earth, has his patients needs as his first priority and is not ruled by the his own office - flow needs. He thinks outside-the-box when it comes to treatment plans and will treat expeditiously without the constraints of watching the clock. He successfully healed a quite extreme medical condition that I brought to him and his greatest concern was in treating me with the least invasive (read: least painful) procedures available. I recommend him very strongly. Although he is popular, we never wait more than 5-10 minutes. If I am sick, his staff will always schedule a same day appointment.

Dr. Weidman is wonderful! Trust him 100% we even moved away and I drive an hour to still have him as my daughters doctor. He is wonderful, full of information, takes the time to see your child as if she/he is the only one in the office, has been my daughters doctor since birth! Will always have him as my daughters doctor no matter how far I have to drive. He is always a phone call away if I need him and he calls back within a short time! LOVE HIM AND HIS OFFICE!!!!!!!!

Dr. Weidman was not only my Pediatrician growing up, which I am now 31yrs old. But He is our pediatrician to both of our kids. He is the best of the best hands down. He has experience with almost anything and everything, and if he doesnt know then he knows who to go to that will know. He is the head of pediatrics for the West Hills Hospital also. I highly recommend Dr. Weidman to any and all parents.

I waited less than 5 minutes to see Dr. Weidman. He was amazing. He patiently asked my 12 year son about the problems he was having at school and with friends. He suggested he keep a daily journal with only 3 sentences. He spent 25 minutes primarily talking with my son while doing his school check up. He was so kind and caring - my son left feeling great about himself. I highly recommend him!

They overcharge you & insurance without informing you and when when you will ask them about it they will argue. Finally you will be forced to pay more. This happened to me twice. So please be more specific when you visit them. They will write something in there file which you are never aware of and will charge insurance & you for it. Doctor is good but there billing staff is not.

Very long waiting time even we made earlier to our appointment. Only one nurse was there and she said that she s very busy and she would be right with us but took long time to come back for weight check and vaccination. Every time happened with me. And Charges much from Insurance.

The best Pediatrician in the West Valley and beyond! He is always available for consult as well (even after hours) We were referred by our cousin and have been seeing Dr Weidman for six years now through 2 kids. A great, great doctor with an excellent staff

Absolutely, hands down, top notch Pediatrician. All four of our kids are under his care and adore him. He is the standard for what a Pediatrician should be like. The nursing staff is very attentive and caring. Top notch all around!

I cant believe Dr. Weidman office has overcharged and billed me despite he was paid. We found out that he does that to collect more. his staff has been relentless on billing and collection agencies.
