Doctor Tomberlins (Doctor Julies) office is really great. The office staff is very friendly, and the entire office is very warm and inviting for kids. Doctor Julie really loves the kids, and you can tell. She is really wonderful with children, and our whole family thinks she is the best. There is also a really great Physicians Assistant in the office. Doctor Christine is also really great with the kids. If you have a sick kiddo, you may end up seeing Christine because Dr. Julie may have a number of well appointments that day. In either case you get really great care. We went yesterday. My child was having an ear ache. We waited less than 10 minutes in the waiting area, and after we were in the examine room we saw Dr. Christine after about another 12 to 15 minutes. In this case, I think diagnosis was fairly straight-forward, so the examine time didnt take long. But we also didnt feel rushed, it seemed just right to me. We were all done with everything and headed home in about 35 minutes total. Really superb!

Dr Julie is great that is if you can get an appointment to see her the actual doctor . 99% of the time you will only see a NP and now a Physician Assistant. The cash patient fee for a regular visit is $130 which is ridiculous when urgent care is $140 those prices should not be that close one is a regular visit one is urgent after hour care. I also have insurance auto draft usually posts on the 3rd they will not see you if insurance is delayed in posting. The staff just continues to go downhill the more the practice grows . I do not have good experience with one of the NP so Im a little nervous when scheduling appointments . Christine is no longer there she was the only NP I trusted with my daughter. I also see the EOB on fees charged to insurance her rates are highest Ive seen on any PCP . Office wait is short never packed lobby so scheduling is great .

Dr. Julie is the very best!! She loves and cares for my children and takes the time to listen to any questions and concerns I might have. We have been her patients since our first child was born 9 years ago. Dr. Julie walked us through some scary situations with our first son and helped me as a new mom and has been a trusted advisor ever since. She is in the moment with your child and never rushes you or hurries through the visit. All of my children love to see her and get big heartfelt hugs. She stays current on best practices for children and is very knowledgeable in the field of pediatric medicine, but by far the most important thing she gives children is her heart. There are a multitude of options for pediatricians in DFW, but there is only one Dr. Julie.

We waited with our sick baby for over an hour and were finally taken into a less-than-clean exam room full of toys that we watched the nurses completely douse with Lysol before we went in. Room reeked of chemicals because of this and we waited another hour to see the doctor, who came in just as we were getting up to leave. The entire time we were waiting there were people laughing and messing around outside and at one point there was a dog inside barking for several minutes. Dr. Tomberlin was dressed very unprofessionally in shredded jeans and boots. After speaking with friends about this, they all had heard stories about very long wait times similar to our experience. Very disappointed and would never take my baby there again.

I would not use this doctors office. They are heartless! Understand my children have been with this office for years. I made an appointment for my 12 year old that was sick, they go to verify the insurance which is setup on an auto draft so it takes a day or 2 to post. This is all happen on Sept 2nd. While it post I guess my account with Scott and White is in a grace period. Because of this they would not see her and told me I needed to make the appointment in a few days after the payment had posted! Its sad when you have 3 children with a doctors office and they are more worried about the money than the well being of your children!!! Find an office with a heart because this is definitely not it!!!

I do wish that the wait times were faster, but sometimes that is the price for a very popular and caring medical personel. I NEVER once felt rushed or like I was being dismissed from any appointment we had with my daughter. She was open to talking about vaccine concerns and alternative medicine for anything we had questions about. She is always absolutely IN THE MOMENT at each appointment. When my daughter was in the hospital and received inadequate and careless care that resulted in a burn, Julie kept in contact with me all day, on her off day, and demanded answers and constant contact from the hospital Drs/administrators. I couldnt have asked for a better Dr in my corner.

I have taken my girls here for several years and though I have been pleased with Dr. Julie herself it seems her practice is all about the $$ now and not about the patients and last time I was in I was asked to sign their new practice where is your 1 minute late they will cancel your appointment and charge you $50.00. Really!! I indicated that I would just find a new doctor but I wanted my daughter to to finish up some immunizations there before I moved her and when I called back they had already taken her off the roster and told me I could take her to the health department. Oh ok because your the only pediatrician in town. I dont think so jerks!!!

We love Julie Tomberlin! This is a wonderful office. The ladies at the front desk are always very patient and kind. The wait is short and the office is very inviting. My kids love Dr. Julie. She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and always answers questions with explanations that are easy to understand with details and examples. From a mom standpoint, I trust her completely. She has calmed me down, talked with me through scary situations, and advocated for me multiple times. My kids love how gentle and friendly she is. My very busy toddler is mesmerized by the way she interacts with him in such a calm manner. 5 stars all around!

We love Dr. Julie! From our very first pre-natal appt to our now 2 yr old she has been awesome! We see mostly the NPs/PAs now, which is completely fine with us, they have all been outstanding. The front desk and nursing staff have been amazing as well--Katie was a Godsend when I first started breastfeeding! As first time parents we have a million questions and weve never been made to feel like we were bothering anyone with our calls or our questions. Our daughter has a chronic health condition and Dr. Julie and her staff has been great with referrals and coordinating care.

Dr Tomberlin is an exemplary pediatrician who has gone above & beyond to care for our family. She has been attentive to our needs & has always meticulously addressed any concerns. Her office has been very easy to work with & to communicate with. They have worked us in for sick visits on the same day & have called to check on our family after visits. Dr Tomberlin has also gone out of her way to check on us during her time off when our kids have been sick. She goes above & beyond. We have recommended her to several of our friends. We love her, shes the best!
