I went to the Mission Hills Smile Care to have dental work done. My advice, DONT go there! They are the nicest people, but its all a show. When you meet the staff, they were very nice and professional, especially Adrianna and Victor. The office is ultra-modern and clean. This is where the buck stops. The problem is that their billing practices are boarder line fraudulent! They will try to sell you anything and everything (especially procedures you dont need) regardless of what your insurance covers. They tell you one thing, like it wont cost you anything, and then they bill you and your insurance something totally different! Or they tell you it will cost very little and then bill 3 to 4 times the agreed price. Read the reviews! I wish I had. There are hundreds if not thousands of negative reviews - all with horror stories. I wish I had read them BEFORE I went there and got scammed. Now I have to go file a complaint with the California Dental Board and the BBB. I dont have time to do that, but its my only choice after the fraudulent billing practices that have applied to my account.

So, I have to update and change my review from one star. I had billing issues, but my customer service experience was great. The bad: My dissatisfaction was due to billing issues. I paid for everything due on my end upfront and made it very clear that I did not want to be billed for anything in the future. I wanted to cover all costs that was was responsible for then. I received a bill three months later saying that my insurance did not pay what was due on their end. I called and spoke with my own insurance as well and it was later resolved. The good: My dentist, Dr. Azizollah Maghen, was awesome!!! He could tell that was was nervous, reassured me the the world wasnt ending, and removed my wisdom teeth in under an hour. I would absolutely recommend him. When I did have my billing issues I called Smile Care and Liz was actually very polite and helpful. I would recommend as a customer that you alter your billing practices. My insurance was billed twice, the claim took over three months to process, and I was charged $10 more than what was actually due.

Had a root canal went on the 17th then went back 4 days later to see the person that does the implants who is only there once a month; as soon as she saw the x ray and looked at my root canal she nodded and said : this tooth needed to be pulled out! so... had to get credit back; got my tooth pulled out after being swollen and in pain. I just wished the dentist could have pulled the tooth out on the 17th, he walked in the room looked at me and said 4 days a go it was fine , i looked at him and told him i did not want to talk to him and he walked out. The staff has changed i had a female dentist before and she was great! she is not there any more, front desk not there any more, the only ones that stayed are the assistants and the young girl that does the cleaning.

Ive been very unhappy with this practice for a long time. Weve had different billing issues over time, and they will not do a cleaning without you having a complete exam first, and they cannot be done in the same visit. Ive found another dentist and called Smilecare to request a copy of our orthodontic records, but they charge a large fee to provide them. Thumbs down on this provider. The only good that came from this office is the Ortho Doctor.

Absolutely amazing patient care! I had a smile that looked like the spinning teacups at Disneyland and overcrowding, but ortho and dental worked so well together I am able to get my braces off early! Alicia is super helpful with appointments and Dr. Haghi gave me stunning results, everyone working there is so nice that I made sure my sisters orthodontia was taken care of here as well!

the work was mediocre at best and after paying everything asked at each visit I was stilled billed for more. basically dishonest operation, and I had loose teeth for 2 months after some orthodontry dont go here
