Ill start first by saying that I dont usually write reviews, and I always prefer to give businesses the benefit of the doubt. Dr. King was horrible. He has horrible bedside manner, didnt introduce himself when he walked in, didnt shake my hand, had not read and looked over my medical history form (obviously because he tried TWICE to give me a medication that I wrote I was allergic to, even after he was made aware of it the first time). Overall, I found him to be belittling toward his patients. I have an undergraduate medical background, have worked in a medical clinic of a different specialty for years, and am going to be starting medical school in the fall. Im not a dumbass. I know about procedure and the Dr.-Patient relationship, and all he did was dismiss my concerns in a condescending manner. Instead of taking the time, as a Professional, to explain his train of thought and make me feel comfortable. He also kept saying to, "authorize my insurance," for certain prescriptions. I have a PPO. Authorization is only required for HMOs, once again he didnt even bother looking at the facts in my chart. I became a little firm with him, because he was essentially trying to man-handle me in the exam room, and his assistants and interns made references that they understood where I was coming from. Dr. King is an older gentleman. He is scatter-brainy. I get it, when youre old you get irritable and you try to push patients out of your office as quickly as you can. With that being said, I suggest you retire. I dont know what stresses you may have in your home life or why you act the way you do, but every patient deserves to be respected. This is not the kind of service I am accustomed to from a private practitioner who cares about his business and the well-being of his patients.

Hello all, I have indeed seen Dr. King for a rather LARGE mole (yuck) that I wanted removed.... Dr. King performed the procedure himself with no complications what so ever. He did mention that the mole can "grow back" Im happy to report, mine didnt! Yes, Im happy about that! I dont even have a scar! I only have a slight discoloration on the skin that you cant even notice unless I point it out. -Sadly my boss cant say the same. She saw a different doctor at a different location (orange county) to have 3 of her moles removed... Now she has 3 large, red, raised scars. - Im very happy with Dr Kings work and highly recommend him for your dermatology needs. Hope this helps, good luck! Sheri

He is the worst doctor Ive ever been to. I had a rash on my lower back and he simply told me to stop wearing tight jeans. Which I dont. Didnt give me any real medication. He practically dismissed me in less then 3 minutes. Didnt want to help. He seemed bothered when I pressed him on what I thought it could be. Then he charged me close to 300 dollars. All of that for nothing. Waste of time. Also the girls at the front seemed to hate their job.

Dr. Don King was probably the most rudest person I have ever met, right when he walked in he didnt even introduce himself, didnt shake my hand, right away he just said "i heard i heard you have a lump or something like that". i told him yes, i showed him where it is and he started laughing telling me "are you blind? there is nothing there!" other doctors have seen the lump, i think he was just too lazy to deal with me? he was a very rude man.

Never visit this doctor. I had a mole on my chin removed and he missed it, only partially removing it. The doctor seemed very rushed and uncaring. I also had warts burned off my hands which hurt incredibly badly and they still grew back. Worst medical experience ever. Never ever go here.
