The Wahl Dental Group has a very poor billing system and cant seem to get things corrected. If you ask questions you get an answer of "well that is the way it is." Not only do you not treat customers like that you dont send bills that are over a year old for the first time to collect payment because your office has made an error. Especially when that patient is no longer a patient and hasnt been for a year. Even though Im not a patient anymore and havent been for a year I keep getting phone calls, voicemails, and text messages to schedule a cleaning. Each time I speak with someone I tell them I no longer am a patient of the Wahl Dental Group. Each time they say they will remove me from the list but I still am receiving phone calls and text messages. When I was a patient service wasnt that bad but once I switched they have shown how poor the service and business is. I switched to a different dentist because I moved out of the area and wanted a dentist closer. The new dentist has very high ratings and quoted me under $400 to remove my wisdom teeth while the Wahl Dental Group wanted over $1500. That alone tells me they are charging way too much. I had been a patient of the Wahl Dental Group for over 10 years.

I have been a patient at Wahl Dental since 2009. When I made my first appointment, it had been a few years since I had visited a dentist. There were many problems with my mouth, including cavities and gingivitis. The staff did an A+ job. They talked me through the process, which I really appreciated. The staff is always professional and very friendly. They talk to you while you are in the chair, which helps you get to know them on a personal level and also calms any nerves you may have. I trust them completely. I never miss an appointment because the front desk keeps on top of the schedule with phone call reminders, emails, or text messages. When I arrive for an appointment, I never wait more than 5 minutes to be taken back to a chair. I have also had Invisalign work at Wahl Dental for gaps in my teeth and am extremely pleased with the results. Dr. Wahl wants the best for me, and let me know when he thought we could make my teeth even better. I always have the final say and never feel pressured into anything.

I would have given it a 5/5 solely based off of cleanliness, staff, and service. I just had to go with the 4 because it honestly bothered me that their x-ray machine which was digital, was not compatible with a shield for my thyroid. As a more naturalistic person who has reservations xraying her thyroid, this bothered me. Everyone by this day and age should know the dangers of leaving your thyroid exposed to radiation. It may be considered a low dose to them, but a dose here and there really does add up. Their staff is amazingly friendly. They answer your questions and concerns without any reservations. The office is open and clean. They also seem concerned with your comfort level. I am going to return in six months, and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking an up to date dentist with up to date technology. If it is your first time going in a while or ever, start here, its a welcoming and positive experience. Positive vibes here and healthy beautiful smiles!

To the negative posters: I was a patient of Dr. Wahls from ~1996 - ~ 2010 (14 years, very regularly). Your experience statements seem misguided. The service, treatment, and (most importantly) quality of the care was superb. Dr. Wahl and Dr Chawla (my primary dentist the last several years) were top notch. I highly recommend them. I originally began going to their practice in 1996 per a recommendation from a coworker - she was right on. The proof is in the fact that I stayed with the practice for ~14 years. The ONLY reasons I left the practice were: 1) Distance as I now live in another suburb 2) But more so, my insurance plan though work changed and made the Wahl practice a non option They due charge a somewhat "premium" price. But you get what you pay for..a premium price for premium dental care. I had both maintenance and cosmetic work done at their practice. Great practice overall! Thanks Dr. Wahl and Dr. Chawla.

Called and made an appt. for a cleaning and check up. I told them my insurance company but that I wasnt sure if my policy was covered. I was told they would check on my policy and if I wasnt covered then I would be notified. I was not notified so I went to the appt. They didnt even clean my teeth just an exam and x-rays. I was also told I needed about $1000 in work done. I went to another dentist for a second opinion and cleaning. They were able to do the work the other dentist recommended during my cleaning!! Always get a second opinion before letting them work on your teeth. About two weeks later I received a bill because they didnt take my policy! Frustrated and angry I called to sort out the situation. The end result was an apology and only partial coverage of the bill. I wouldnt recommend but if you do go, check your policy yourself! Dont count on them to do it.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this dental office. The dentists and hygienists are all friendly, helpful, thorough and knowledgeable. In the seven years I was a patient here it was obvious how much everyone at this office cared about their patients. The only reason I had to leave is that my current insurance will unfortunately not cover this dentist. The front office staff is helpful with payments, scheduling and insurance claims. I only needed to go to the dentist every six months for a cleaning and check up, and yet everyone still remembered my name and what our last conversation consisted of. I felt respected, well cared for and important as a patient and I wish I could still go here!

This is such a pleasant staff and to work with. The doctor is very thorough, professional and listens to your concerns. In just a short time, I have built such a close relationship with this doctor and his staff. I have total trust in him and the services they deliver. My results were excellent. After years of struggling with problems from dental implants I now feel secure and confident that my issues are finally resolved. It has been a long time since I felt like smiling and all the compliments I have received is so rewarding. I would never think of going any place else. If you are searching or thinking of changing your dentist, this is definitely the place to go.

I have never been treated so poorly before. Do not go to this dentist unless you have a lot of cash with you because that is all they are concerned with. I went in with the hope of getting help for a severe dental emergency and was treated terribly. I strongly recommend avoiding this dentist. Here is another review I read that sums it up perfectly!-

Horrible front office. They WAY overcharge, treat you like a thief, make you pay in advance regardless of your perfect credit and just in general nightmarish.
