I was up visiting the Vail Valley from Denver and became sick with the flu. I was reluctant to go to an urgent care setting but was so miserable that I felt I had no choice. I was greeted pleasantly and empathetically, and was immediately put at ease. I waited less than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The nurse (Mary) brought me back to the exam room and began taking my vitals and the history of what was going on. The doctor (Dr. Sather) soon came in the room, reviewed the history and examined me. He was very thorough with his explanation and treatment options. Prescriptions were given, blood work was done and I was sent home on my way. I received a call later that afternoon to see how I was doing and to give me the results of my blood work. I returned the next day to pick up a copy of my blood work for my persona file. I am so thankful for the great care I received here and I highly recommend their services! Brett Kessler

Recently, I was in Avon and had to have some staples removed from an injury that I acquired before my vacation in Colorado. I was very apprehensive about having them removed, due to a bad experience before, but the whole experience turned out to be just perfect. The staff was incredible. The check in procedure was so simple, and since we werent sure what my insurance co-pay was supposed to be, they just said that wed file with the insurance first and then theyd bill me for the balance. I thought that was nice. Then the nurse that I had was so sweet and reassuring, and when she removed the staples, I swear I didnt feel a thing! She was incredibly gentle! The doctor was also very kind. This was just overall a great experience! I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

We have used the urgent care several times since it has opened for our three children. They have needed stitches, to be checked for a concussion, and had several acute illnesses that manifested themselves after 5pm during the week or on a Sunday. They are always quick, friendly and professional. I highly recommend the Avon Urgent Care Clinic for when illnesses cannot wait until the next day or you need a higher level of care than your general practitioner can provide. :-)

My husband and I visited Avon Urgent Care because he had flu-like symptoms. We were visitors from out of state thus did not have a family doctor in the area. We were very impressed with the professional and excellent care he received. He is an Optometrist and I am a nurse with emergency room experience which they did not know until just before we left. We recommend this urgent care to anyone visiting the Vail area.

I was billed $325 for a 20 minute visit. Avon Urgent Care is considered part of Vail Valley Medical Center so my 20 minute visit with my daughter was considered an outpatient visit. None of this was explained to me prior to receiving my bill. The woman with whom I spoke in the accounting department was the perfect stereotype of an unhelpful call center employee.

In the past, weve been to urgent care clinics that have not really known how to handle a toddler...our experience at Avon Urgent Care was probably the most positive doctors experience my little guy has ever had (and that includes our pediatrician). Everyone, from the receptionist to the doctor was fantastic, and we didnt have to wait!

DO NOT GO HERE!! EXTREMELY OVERPRICED. waste of time and money. I spoke to a doctor for 5-10 minutes on my lunch break about athletes foot. Using the facility is a $202.25 fee and speaking with a doctor is a $196.00 fee. Insurance paid for 39% of my bill. I received more information from the pharmacist at CVS.

Very nice and helpful staff. We waited in the waiting room only 5 minutes both times we were there. We were staying in Vail for vacation and decided to drive to Avon. It was the right choice for us. I highly recommend Avon urgent care. Thanks guys.

They helped out. But the bill for a 30 minute visit just to diagnose the flu and prescribe a mist for the nose was almost $485. That seems a bit extreme for an urgent care, yes less than the ER, but still...

They cant tell you how much they charge. And they make you wait more than 30 minutes inside a room. The front desk Secretary a total bully. I dont recommend this place to anyone

When they see international patients they first want to collect payment, always. Normaly they take travel insurance payments but they charge less that the normal fee.

Be ware!!!!!! $202.25 fee to step in the door....medical care is fine, but "facility fee" is outrageous. Look for a non-hospital affiliated urgent care.

The doctor did not believe in antibiotics so I was not given any medication for a sinus infection. Had to go to another doctor to get medicine.
