I cant believe I have no choice but to rate this office (which is a monopoly here in Summit County) with one star. Mind Springs Health deserves negative stars from my experience. I Was suffering from the worst depression of my life back in January and it took me weeks to even get them to schedule me an appt. with the Psychiatrist (who has now left their office)!!! They will take your money ($300 for Psychiatrist/$150 for Psychologist) and lead you to believe you will get maybe 10 minutes with the Psychiatrist eventually, but that didnt even happen for over a month. I was begging and crying and almost didnt make it...and I bet there are many people who dont make it due to their negligence...they feel no other way out then to commit suicide. Mental Health issues are the biggest problem in our world today...The only reason I got an appointment was because someone cancelled. Then I got ONE meeting with the psychiatrist and some medication, and from then on it was mandatory meetings with the psychologist (who never helped with any type of solid therapy based off their so called education) and $150 out of my empty pocket every week...or twice a week. I never got to meet with the Psychiatrist again. After 3-4 months I got off the medication. Then a few months go by and I feel I may need to be back on the medication so I call the office...they gave me a 30 day prescription (no questions asked)...I immediately started having worse side affects then before and called the office and left 2 voicemails stating how I thought the medication might be affecting me and my job, and I never received a call back. Meanwhile I was instructed to schedule an appointment with the only Psychiatrist on staff for about 6 different offices that Mind Springs has in order to keep my medication...so I did...my appointment was supposed to be at 11am today...I got a call at 9:30am today from the office in Grand Junction (not the one I attend in Frisco) saying that the Dr. had a meeting and they had to cancel my appointment...an hour and a half before im supposed to be there!!! Since they only have ONE Psychiatrist working for 6 different offices all over Colorado, my appointment was going to be on skype (if thats even legal)...same price though ($300)...and they told me they cant schedule another appointment until the end of September (1.5 months from now)!!! I called the office in Frisco and asked to speak to the office manager (which of course went straight to voicemail)...I told them how unprofessional and incompetent their office is and that I would be contacting newspapers, television and lawyers to figure out what could be done to save the lives of many people suffering from mental illness and being treated the way I was by the only office of psychiatry I could find in this area. 20 minutes later I receive a phone call from Mind Springs Health in Frisco (where my appointment was) saying that there was a "misunderstanding" and that I could in fact still have my skype appoinment from their office. I wonder what changed so quickly??? hmmmmm...maybe the threat to alert the press regarding their malpractice. I told them I want nothing to do with their office ever again. I warned the secretary of the kind of unethical people she is working for and wished her luck. I was also told that if i needed medication refills before my appt. that i could get them...medication is dangerous!!! They should not be able to prescribe me more sickness causing meds before at least letting me speak to the doctor!!! My motivation for taking the time to write this and to call and report this business is to help save peoples lives. I hope someone can do something to fix this business or put them out of business, as they are probably hurting more people then they are helping...and when I say hurting I mean people are probably commiting suicide or losing their lives, jobs and families due to the negligent treatment they may be receiving. Thank you for reading and please share this if you can...

Without putting too much personal stuff in here, I had a horrible experience at Mind Springs Health, with how unprofessional and unhelpful the Drs were. If you need someone to talk to the therapists are nice people, but if you are seeking actual help you are better off going somewhere else. After about, I think 7 months with them, I will have to leave Mind Springs and find a place in Denver. With this being said, if you dont have an option because of transportation but to go here, dont be discouraged, my bad experience may not be yours.

I really enjoyed what seemed to be genuine compassion and support. I am new to mind Springs, so I will continue to update this review. However, at this time I have nothing but positive things to say, especially regarding Lance.

Mind Springs Health has been wonderful for me. I have an excellent therapist at the Frisco location. The staff there are very friendly, and I always come away from my experiences there happy and satisfied.

Place sucks, horrible customer experience. Horrible therapists and and psychiatrists. A sad example of mental health in this county. High suicide rate low mental health support. Makes sense to me.

Psychiatrist said I looked like I had Bi Polar, when I was going to her for depression.
