Doctor Science Wizard

I took it upon myself to seek counseling for my anxiety disorder and depression. The counselor that they set me up with was nice enough, but I always caught her looking at her watch and appearing uncomfortable during our sessions, which for folks who suffer from mental health-issues can have a damaging effect. She kept doing these things even after I mentioned them to her, so suffice it to say that I stopped going. I didnt feel like my visits with her were productive, and in fact I always left them feeling worse off than I did when I went in. Then I received a message in the mail not too long after that informed me that if I didnt call to schedule an appointment with my counselor theyd have no choice but to release me from care, which would render any existing visits I had on schedule with my psychiatrist null-and-void. Seeing as my psychiatrist was actually helpful, and was working with me to find medication that might make my condition at least somewhat livable, this letter put me in a very compromised position. So now I have the choice to either schedule another counseling appointment and get to continue seeing her, or dont and start over anew somewhere else if its possible. Which doesnt really help my condition. It just adds stress to my life that just makes my condition all the more difficult to deal with.

The Therapists are nice enough and help with some things, but there is absolutely no help for someone needing disability due to psychological and other multiple problems. This leaves someone that cant get or hold down a job, out of options.

Everyone is very caring and genuinely cares about your recovery. The groups are a great resource and the individual counseling gives a good foundation to build your recovery on. Its the only place that has helped me!

Therapist Jill wont return a call no matter how many voicemails you leave, doesnt follow throu, and supervised Brooke could care less. Bad service for those of us seeking help and needing to trust those people.
