My insurance has a new requirement for prior authorization before they pay for CPAP machine and supplies. I called their customer service to give them the number to call to get prior authorization. The woman I spoke to was completely incompetent. She had no idea what I was talking about, and didnt even know how to start. I had to ask her to look up my account, and tell her when they filed the claim. I had her record the number for prior authorization on my account. Then she tells me that they are unlikely to call it at all. Evidently a different department handles this. She was going to just record the number with no explanation until I asked her to put a note with it explaining what it is for. At the moment, I have pending claims, and Im just waiting for them to be rejected by my insurance and for Apria to stop sending supplies, or send us a bill. Wasted 15 minutes, and expect to waste many more soon.

RUN AWAY!!. They will sell you whatever makes them the most money without nay consideration for what your needs actually are. If youre fortunate enough to receive a supply order it will be ,at best, incomplete. Good luck trying to call them after 20 minutes of responding to their incomprehensible IVR system you will be connected to a person who may or may not actually know where they work, much less have the ability to answer even the most basic of questions. BEG your provider for another option!!! As a alleged health care provider Apria is dangerously negligent!!

Every negative review here is 100 percent accurate. This company is a NIGHTMARE. I would think its a scam except at the moment I have one of their $650 oxygen machines in my home that Apria cannot seem to find an order number for. Ive called several times and the two times I did get to someone the call was dropped or they hung up on me. Its CRAZY how messed up this company is on EVERY level. Its shocking they are in business at all. This is about the only negative review Ive EVER given ANY company. I NEVER give negative reviews.

Dear google, please give us negative star options. One star is too much. Lincare is better than these jokers!! Wrong products shipped often to wrong address (they cant keep it straight that I have a home AND mailing address. Billing sent to wrong place and thats somehow my fault. After hours answering message says, please call back or leave a message then drops the call. Good job. You know its bad when you create the login ID "ApriaSucks" and it flags as already taken (along with several other variations)!

Absolutely horrible!!! One of the worst businesses Ive even done business with. I walked in at 1:35 and all I was doing was picking up a machine. I was the ONLY person in here. Its 2:01 and Im still waiting here and four other patients have come and gone. Ive been pretty polite so far but am losing patience. This is my first review but about my 50th bad experience with this horrific company. Now 2:05 and they claim someone is coming to see me. And no....no one has an appointment. 2:08 and counting.

I am a healthcare professional and have to use Apria because some of my patients have that system. A lot of us healthcare professionals call Apria - Crapia. That name alone should show anyone thinking of using Apria to go somewhere else for their needs. God forbid you have a problem and need to talk with a technician. If you have Crapia - run. Run for you life. Get as far away as you can.

Their automated phone system is so bad it has to be by design. It is especially bad if you are a Kaiser insured patient. They dont handle Kaiser insured at their level, inform and provide you their number, Kaiser has no automated selection for air service. Basically they put you into automated limbo. This is what has formed as part of the HMO insanity.

Aprias Customer Service needs to be renamed "No Customer Service" because they are proficient at misinformation, no information & gross inefficiency! This organizations practices & procedures are broken, which results in total frustration for the Customer.

Every review is accurate there is zero customer service. Try calling after hours.... Only thing they do is say call 911 via a recording. Puts you on hold for 2 min then disconnects.

The system is set up to cost a lot of money poor customer service. The employee tries but it is the system that needs drastic improvement.
