The new glasses I purchased had a defective stem, after less than two months of wear. I went in to the Abba location on North Nevada and had the pleasure of getting Tim as my Optician. WOW was I lucky this time as well. What a pleasant outgoing young man. He ordered a new stem and approximately 7-10 days later I went back to have it put on my glasses. There was a slight hiccup when I went in, so I left without getting the stem. Shortly after getting home Tim called and apologized for the mixup and I went back later the same day and requested Tim when I got there. While installing the left stem the right stem developed the same defect. Tim replaced the entire frames with another one from the Abba store with no questions asked. I am so amazed at the great service I receive there each and every time. I have to say Tim was absolutely one of my favorites though - he is an asset to Abba and very knowledgeable regarding their products and his profession. My husband and I have been Abba customers for years and we will continue to be in the future. I cant recommend them highly enough. I know why when I walk in the door and the place is packed with customers! Thanks for all you did for me Tim. I had to go to ABBA unexpectedly because my glass case with my glasses fell out of my pocket at a store and no one turned them, in so I had to replace my glasses. I have been a loyal ABBA customer for quite a few years, because of their great service. Thursday 11/10/16 was no exception. I had just used my insurance to purchase prescription sunglasses in September so I didnt have insurance to use. I was so very fortunate to get the Manager Jesenia and Amber P (who had also assisted me when I purchased my sunglasses in September of 2016) to help. They worked with me so that I was able to not only replace my lost prescription glasses with the same style and lenses I previously had (which I dearly loved) but I only ended up paying about $150 more than what I paid for the glasses when I purchased them about 2 years ago. That was using my insurance benefits. I was also able to purchase a pair of reading glasses for $20 (in my prescription) that were made that day - to hold me until the full prescription glasses come in. Both Jesenia and Amber went above and beyond - they gave me another eyeglass case for my sunglasses since that was lost as well. No charge! On a side note - my husband is also a loyal customer. We went back to ABBA on Friday 11/11/2016 to get his glasses adjusted and to get an eyeglass case for him - they adjusted his glasses, replaced the eye pads, gave him another case and 2 cleaning cloths - all as part of their great service. Lauren helped my husband. I cant say enough about about this ABBA location. I highly recommend this location and their fantastic staff. You guys rock!

I absolutely had the worst experience here. I would and will never refer this place to anyone! I came in for a routine eye exam...after the normal testing, etc the Dr came in and told me my "eyes were fine, go wait out in the waiting room and we will get you set up." Okay, I was figuring that I would just sign out and leave....NO. I got called over to the desk where you pick eye glasses out. I had no idea I needed glasses and have never needed them. I asked the employee why I was over there and he said "you have astigmatism" okay, I personally feel the dr failed his job by not explaining this to me......I asked questions, because I dont know what that meant. The employee said "it means one eye miss-shaped and you need glasses to correct that." Of course they are the expert and Im not so I say "okay"...pick out my glasses etc. I waited about 2 1/2 weeks before I got them. I was also not aware that I didnt have to spend 405.00 here and I could have taken my prescription elsewhere cheaper..of course they wont explain that. Fast forward a few months, my eyes have been in pain, the glasses irritate more than they help so I have only worn them a handful of times for less than 30 minutes. I have recently been PCSed to GA and I decided to get a second opinion....I am very glad I did! I found out the prescription they gave me is completely wrong, they did not carefully assess my eyes. The place I went to explained why the irritation of the glasses are happening and among other things, one that infuriates me is because the employee at Abba was too focused on up selling my lens to actually focus on what I would actually need, being a first time patient. Again..not knowing a single thing about glasses, eyes and the whole sha-bang and they knew that, I was taken advantage of. The glasses had so much of the extra "pizazz" on them to the point they were the cherry on top of the not being able to see cake. Considering my prescription is not that serious, basic does great for me. I am super happy with my new glasses/lens and eye clinic. I am furious I have paid so much to this unworthy company. At one point before I got my glasses I had asked them to just give me my money back because we were put on very last minute orders and the day we packed the house and left is the day the stupid glasses came in.

I am finally getting around to my review of Abba Eye Care on Nevada. My mother and I both went in months ago after I opted to find a new eyecare facility due to how unhappy I was with my last experience at our regular location. We went in, had our appointments done, and were dealt with by Rachel. The one thing I will say is Rachel was amazing. She was just honest, and fun and her personality was real. No complaints about her. We both ordered a pair of glasses, mine on the cheap side and my mothers were covered by insurance. When I got my glasses, I got fitted and walked out with that classic distortion. Over the next week I tried to break them in and get used to them, but they were making me sick. Turns out the lens was covered in micro-scratches, not caused by me. I went back in and had them replaced and the manager Angie was great. Ultimately though, I had to pay more for an upgrade in what was faulty glasses, not my own fault. I went for it to prevent future issues. After I got my new glasses again, the gal fitting me pawned me off on someone else because she couldnt fit them. The guy who took over was great, got them fitted, but no matter what they just feel like cheap pieces of crap and are constantly crooked. I finally just ignored it, and am left with what I have. No worth my time driving to a crappy location to get them adjusted again. Now, as for my mothers glasses, her prescription was wrong! She was seen the same day I was and by the same person, who seemingly didnt care at all while doing her exam. Her prescription was totally wrong, and it took going back a while later to figure that out. They sat with her to figure it out, and then she had to get another exam then order her glasses again. Her glasses are now fine. The whole experience just left something to be desired, like... knowing what youre doing? Not to mention the physical location looks horrible and is annoying to park at. I will say though, Rachel was amazing and Angie was a sweet heart, so if you do chose Abba, hopefully you get one of these women. Weve opted to go back to our regular place because it is more affordable and reliable, despite my less than enjoyable experience last time I got an exam.
