I am changing my review back down to 1 star because I have two pairs of glasses that dont fit me. A bunch of contacts that I cant see very well out of. And I do not feel comfortable returning to the store for a remedy, after I was told "It is obvious nothing we can do will please you" because I wanted to discuss my options after the 30 days. I didnt get back within the 30 days because I was dying from an illness and live 2 1/2 hours away, and could not, but was shamed and told I was SOL as far as getting help because the 30 days has passed. Then the comment about "nothing we do will please you" was made repeatedly because I simply wanted to see but it had been longer than 30 days. What happened was the contacts were switched in the box, my eyes have a similar prescription. I remember asking the lady not to open my boxes of contacts when she was doing it, but she said, "We have to check them to make sure they sent what they sent". I did not remember this at first, but I think she switched them, and I think she did it because I did not pick the frame she told me to get! Truthfully. I have been wearing contacts since I was 16, and I would never take them all out of the boxes at the same time. Plus, my old optometrist gave me my boxes sealed, which is why I asked why she was opening them. Since I was so sick when I was there, while I was trying to get help after the 30 days and being treated like a horrible person for it, I did not remember this. It came back to me later, me asking why she had to open my contacts. I also was shuffled through on my original appointment, and was trying to ask what contact options I had, but he would not talk about that. I can see way better out of the Biometrics, and would have been so happy to have been offered that option from the beginning, but when I asked him, he basically told me to shut up. So now I have a bunch of OK contacts but wish I had been offered the better ones to start with, and that they had been left in their boxes. I actually started going blind in my left eye. Was it from wearing the wrong contacts in my eyes? It took me awhile to figure out because I would only replace one contact at a time. But I had to figure it out. No help from OM as it was past 30 days, and it doesnt matter if you are dying, or even if it was their error, they have their policy. They never adjusted my glasses and they dont fit, so I cant use them. Their answer was, "have someone else adjust them". They later changed their story and said they would do it, but I do not feel comfortable. Lovely. I have glasses that dont fit, and do not feel comfortable taking them other places either, since I already paid OM. Horrible experience. P.S. All it would have taken to please me would have been to help me see, to figure out the contacts were in the wrong boxes and adjust my glasses. After 30 days, that is too much to ask. And, truthfully, I wore the trials for 30 days, so did not have problems till later. Doesnt matter. Policy. PPS. I can see great out of the Biometrics, now that the contacts are in the right eyes! No glasses though. 8But very very happy with the Biometrics vision I am now getting.

*** Let me preface this review by stating that the eye exam with Dr. Frank was a good experience. That aside, this review focuses on the sales experience. *** Optical Masters has a very wide selection of lenses, frames, contacts, and sunglasses for a local brick-and-mortar retail store. Within that selection, the variety of brands is surprising. They advertise (and honor) decent sales for off brand frames and very basic lenses for those that cannot afford more premium options. However, the prices for designer frames are much more expensive than what can be found online (for the same brands and models of frames) and even locally at national retailers like Lenscrafters. To illustrate, a Prada frame that I was interested in is priced at $369 at Optical Masters. The exact same frame (model and color) is available at Lenscrafters for $255. Online, it can be found through Amazon or Frames Direct between $145 and $195. If you are not already aware, the vast majority of designer frames are made by Luxottica and rebranded, so all you are paying for is the name. This is fine with me as I am ready, willing, and able to do so, but the markup that Optical Masters selects is unreasonable. Despite the level of competition from online, national, and other local retailers, Optical Masters does not participate in price matching. While I fully understand the need to account for brick-and-mortar overhead costs (electricity, Internet access, display cases, leasing retail space, paying employees sales commission, etc.), Optical Masters should be more competitive with its pricing. With respect to the lenses and coatings it offers, the markup is virtually the same. Optical Masters overcharges in comparison to local, national, and online retailers. The level of service is adequate, but does not justify the premium paid. In short, if you are looking for a quick and economical solution for 2 pairs of basic eyeglasses for $89, this might be the store for you. However, if you want designer frames, many other options exist for more favorable pricing and potentially better service. You are best served by having your eye exam ($39, $15 more for dilation, more for contact fitting) at Optical Masters, getting a copy of your prescription, and shopping for frames and lenses elsewhere.

Nima is the greatest guy ever. Not only was the staff (Shannon and robin) more helpful then I could have ever imagined the optometrist was very friendly as well as informative. They gave me the greatest deal I could have ever asked for, fixed my already broken glasses so I at least had something to wear while my new glasses are being made. They helped me pick a great new pair and made sure I left feeling and looking more confident then ever before. Not only will I from here on out get all of my glasses from there I will make sure to let everyone know that they are super helpful and hands down the best eyeglass store in the Denver area with more of a selection then one could ever hope for if you are in need of contacts or glasses I highly recommend optical masters you will leave with a smile on your face.Thank you all so much and I look forward to seeing you all again when my order is ready..Thank you, thank you Denise West

Over the past year and a half Ive purchased two pair of designer glasses from these guys. At the time of purchase the service was good and I felt the price was fair. Now a little over a year later the anti-glare coating is coming off one of my lenses. Now I only use this pair at night when Im not wearing my contacts. Very light use to say the least. I see this as an obvious manufacturing defect. Or Optical Masters polished the edges of my lenses incorrectly. Either way I now have a very expensive pair of glasses that look terrible. I went back into the store to see if they could help me re-coat the lenses or simply strip the coating off. They refused to do anything for me short of selling me new lenses at full retail. I was more than willing to pay some money to fix the problem. The customer service here is a joke after they have your $$$. Ill be doing my business elsewhere from now on.
