Unfair Billing Practices - I visited this office one time for an initial consultation. When I called, I was very careful to ask how much the initial consultation would cost and how much each additional visit would be - I was told that, with insurance, there would be no charge for visits and no copay. I had a very quick 20 minute initial consultation which did not completely address the problem I was having. In fact, it barely covered the problem and certainly did nothing to relieve the problem or even any of the symptoms. I let it go at the time because my understanding was that insurance pays $20 and they had told me there was no copay. How much can you really expect for $20? 20 minutes seemed reasonable Today, I received a bill that stated that they had submitted a bill my insurance $135 for this visit and that my portion was $20. I called back to the number that I had made the initial appoint through and they looked up my chart and confirmed that they had told me "no copay" and "no out-of-pocket" for visits. I called the Billing dept and spoke with a person who told me that I did owe $20 and said "you can call your insurance company". Later, I received a call from the original person who had told me "no copay" and "no out-of-pocket" stating that she had been wrong and I did owe $20. Great way to start the relationship. Ill bet they are thinking that Ill be making dozens of appointments and happily making $20 copays and allowing my insurance company to be ripped off while they are not even addressing the reason why I am there!

I have been very impressed with the staff at the Leetsdale location. The front office is always very friendly and are very helpful with any scheduling and payment concerns. They were also able to refer me to Dr. Clay Pokallus for my neck and shoulder injury. When I first walked in to see Clay, I felt anxious, distraught, and helpless about gaining a full recovery in my shoulder at all. I was thinking rotator cuff surgery and didnt desire that at all. Clay restored my confidence in the slow healing process. He took the time to really listen compassionately and professionally to the extent of my difficulties. We discovered that it was not only my shoulder but my neck. He has been very approachable and has offered support and encouragement in so many ways. He gave me assignments and I stuck to the routines. We have been working diligently together and I am now able to move my arm up and down with no pain. I can sleep comfortably on my shoulder and am starting to lift some small weights. My next goal is to confidently spike a volleyball over the net with full strength. I would recommend anyone who needed physical therapy to see any of these remarkable physical therapists. Thank you Cherry Creek Wellness. Sincerely, A very happy and satisfied patient Amy

Since my auto accident nearly a year ago, I have been battling considerable and often debilitating low back, knee, shoulder and hip pain. I sought only chiropractic care (until recently), paired with low impact core and weight training exercises in attempt to heal and get back to a level of activity that I had (pre-accident). While I am still a long ways away from the "elite athlete" condition I was in pre-accident, Cherry Creek Wellness Center in just a few short weeks has helped me achieve fewer days of debilitating pain. The dry needling (I will admit is quite painful, but afterwards it seems to reduce the targeted pain and swelling I have considerably). They also have provided me an exercise regimen which has helped me reduce the level and frequency of pain I have from my accident. While I still have a long way to go, I do feel that I am in great hands and Im hoping that the physical therapy I am receiving will help me from having to undergo surgery of any kind. I have been working with Nick Holm, and if you visit the clinic, I highly recommend you ask for him as he brings new meaning to attentive, results-driven care.

I have been going to Cherry Creek Wellness Center for a bit. I have had two rotator cuff surgeries and a hip repair. I will have to say that my favorite physical therapist is Pete VanDoren. He has quite a few tricks up his sleeve that has helped me heal quickly. The dry needling is the best!! The electronic pulse machine is incredible! The exercises that Pete has laid out for me as well worked! If you follow the plan that Pete lays out for you, recovery will move along quickly. Pete really cares about his patients. I like that he listens to your concerns and walks through them with you. I had a couple of falling accidents as well, and Pete came up with a plan that helped me back on the road to recovery. The front desk is awesome as well! If an appointment is not available at my time, I am put on a waiting list. It is a very busy office. I always receive a call when an opening is available. It is the most efficient front desk I have worked with and the most friendly! Overall, the Cherry Creek Wellness Center team is the best and the most professional!

The therapists at the Wheat Ridge office are awesome in my opinion. I have had several months of intermittent therapy. I have worked with Jen and Stephanie for balance, leg, and knee issues. I have worked with Shannon for back and mobility issues. The physical injuries that prompted these sessions were old injuries that I had endured for a long time, for which the doctors did not seem to have suggestions nor solutions. I finally decided to pursue and requested physical therapy, not knowing what could be done. All three of these women have listened intently, thought creatively, brought knowledge and expertise, treated me with kindness and respect, treating me at the point of my need, encouraging me to go as far as I can without pushing me beyond my physical and emotional capability. I am making progress, becoming stronger, becoming more encouraged and hopeful of meeting my goal of being able to walk independently, with stability, and less pain. I just want to thank them, and encourage others to have the courage to give physical therapy a try. Pat Barhite

I was referred to see Ed Foresman for knee issues five weeks ago. Not only did Ed help me to resolve my knee problems with gentle, easy-to-follow exercises, but he also discovered the causes of my debilitating migraine headaches. Over the past 3 1/2 years, Ive seen three neurologists, tried prescription drugs, acupuncture, massage, osteopathic medicine, diet changes... and I was desperate to end the pain from migraines 3-5 times per week. Incredibly, Ed was able to identify and treat my migraines in only a few sessions! He gave me daily exercises for my TMJ issues (never brought up by ANY of my doctors), and suggested a new type of dental nightguard to relieve the clenching and grinding of my teeth. Since beginning Eds treatment approach to my migraines, Ive only had one headache in the past ten days, a HUGE improvement. I highly recommend Ed Foresman for the treatment of chronic headaches, along with knee problems. He has made a real difference in my quality of life--thank you!
