Allison is the best! I struggled with acne for years. My skin is very sensitive, dry and red. I remember how mentally and physically painful it was to wash my face. It felt like alligator skin and that made me extremely self-conscience. My skin would sting when I applied sun screen. It would take forever to cover up with makeup and then my face looked dry and bumpy. Some days I didn’t want to leave my home. I thought that people looked at me and saw just the acne. Some were even blunt enough to say, "Wow, whats going on with your face? Isnt there something you can do about that?" I tried various treatments such as antibiotics, isotretinoin, spironolactone, Acleara, and countless face washes, creams and other products. Most acne treatments like salicylic acid made my skin worse. It was a tough code to crack and most skin professionals didn’t have the expertise, patience or understanding to challenge my problem. I was thinking that this would be my skin for life. Then I made an appointment with Allison. With Allisons expertise, empathetic heart, patience and dedication she was determined to help clear my skin no matter much time or how many trials it would take. It has now been 6 months and I cant believe the difference being treated by Allison has made. My skin is smooth and I wear less makeup. I feel renewed, confident and relieved. Thank you Allison!

I went in for a consultation on some skin issues that I have in result from of a medical issue, and I immediately felt comfortable! Allison was so sweet and explained in thorough what to expect and the possible outcomes. Unlike much of what I have experienced before (six years of back and forth and many false promises). Three treatments later and I could not be happier! Allison is amazing at what she does. Ive referred multiple family members and friends. So glad I came across Alta Vista. Service is good and the place is nice. But specifically asked if my skin cancer screening could be billed as a screen cancer screening because my insurance covers that 100%. I was told yes by the lady at the front desk. I got my bill and they didnt book it this way so i was charged $125 for something that should have been for free. Also had 1 small planters frozen from my foot and they charged $169 for this which seemed very excessive, i should have asked before having this done. All in all it feels like i got ripped off and wont be back.

I visited Alta Vista today after being told by my regular Dr that they were too busy for an emergency. The receptionist at Alta Vista was very helpful and got me an apt that morning. During my check in the Dr’s assistant Kristina was wonderful and so helpful. My care provider Kara shepherd was amazing. They had me in and out within an hour and all of my concerns were addressed. I just wanted anybody that may need a great dermatologist to know how great these people are.

Terrible!!!! I went there last Friday morning(July 11, 2014) but they have not sent(emailed) a prescription to a pharmacy still now and never answer to my messages. And a lady at a reception desk is terribly not nice to customers(never smile and never talk nicely). (Only a doctor was nice to us)
