When I moved to Lakewood, I found a "boutique" veterinarian hospital that had the advantage of being close to my home, but sent me reminder cards for quarterly wellness exams and excessive care opportunities. After realizing I was spending far more on my dogs health than my own, I knew I had to find a reasonable alternative. I heard about Wadsworth Animal Hospital from a friend, researched it online and determined this was a good fit for me and my dogs. In my experience, the prices are reasonable, the care the staff provide is thoughtful and well-considered, and they dont oversell and under-deliver. The staff is friendly and helpful, and most importantly, my dog didnt cry or yelp when they took him to the back for blood tests and an exam. Ive since sent other people and their pets to Wadsworth Animal Hospital, and theyve been very impressed with the quality of service. Wadsworth Animal Hospital is a caring and thoroughly professional hospital with kind and attentive individuals that you can trust to take good care of your best friends.

I have taken my Maltese to them twice now. Once for an emergency/walk in visit in which they were very professional, friendly and thorough but did not do anything unnecessary. I was given an estimate prior to treatment and tests with the option to choose what I wanted them to do. The prices were reasonable and the care was fabulous! The vet also followed up with me personally the next day with test results. The second visit was today for a teeth cleaning. Again, I was given an estimate with everything I needed to know and a thorough explanation prior to treatment. After checking prices ALL OVER TOWN I have found pricing very reasonable and the care was once again fabulous. My pup was doing great (she was not stressed out at all!) when I picked her up so that made me feel confident that they treated her very well which is the most important thing to me. I would highly recommend them!

Ive been lucky to have been going to see Dr. Eisen, Allyson and the rest of the crew at Wadsworth Animal Hospital since 2000. They have seen me through everything from routine health care, diagnosis & treatment of problems to major surgeries for eight dogs and cats over the past 12 years and I cant imagine going anywhere else. The care and compassion shown to me and all of my animals by the doctor and all of the staff has been more than I could ask for. Dr. Eisen is always thorough, taking the time to answer any questions that I might have. He has true compassion for every animal. And, hes a great surgeon too, as my now 13 year old kitty with the re-built hip can attest to. Hes also hired and trained an amazing group of support staff too. They are all kind, courteous and efficient. I highly recommend them if you want top quality medical care for your pet.

I cant recommend Wadsworth Animal Hospital more highly. From the front desk to the Vet Techs to the Vets, every employee we interact with is highly competent, extremely compassionate and caring, and whether its intentional or just naturally part of who they are, strongly dedicated to excellent customer service. They are literally on the ground with our dog reassuring him that theyre there to help, feeding him treats along the way, and have his best interests at heart. We always appreciate the follow up post appointment as well and they make you feel (and I know its genuine!) that they care so much about your particular situation. Thank you Wadsworth Animal Hospital! You cant be beat in our book!

Dr. Eisen is an absolutely fantastic vet, the hospital is accredited with AHAA, and all the staff is welcoming and ready to answer questions. Allyson, the head tech, always makes sure to stop and say hello even if shes busy - and all the staff members ive met are always happy and ready to greet you with a smile. The hospital itself is warm and inviting, and they hold great events such as their Christmas event, where your pet can pose with Santa and all proceeds benefit a rescue organization! Their prices are very comparable and all of my questions always answered. I highly recommend this animal hospital!

I moved here last fall and needed a new vet. I had previously gone to the same vet for 25 years with all my pets, so I was nervous about changing. The staff is super friendly, and the vets are really nice. I expected all sorts of charges for new patients, ie bloodwork, etc. but they were great! My dog needed a follow up Xray and we got that done and it was not real expensive. Adopted a kitten a few months later and took him in, they all fell in love with him and carried him all around the office! :) This is a great place for your pets and your budget! I got lucky in finding Wadsworth Animal Hospital.

We found WAH on YELP when our affordable vet wasnt available to see our little fur baby and they happened to be OPEN on Saturday and right down the street AND accepting walk-ins. The cost was very affordable and the tech and the vet listened to everything we had to say, and my bf talks a lot, so we were very happy to have patient, caring, loving people take care of our sweetie. We also appreciated the fact we had options and werent forced into getting testing we didnt need to do. We have already recommended them and will do so again! Thank you so much, we have found our primary vet!

I am so happy we found Wadsworth Animal Hospital. Our cat Sopies was injured and we had taken her to an emergency care facility. They did not find anything. We took her to Wadsworth Animal Hospital. The staff was loving and caring about our Sophie. The doctor was professional, and did an extensive exam. They found out what the problem was as took very good care of Sophie. She is doing wonderful now and I am so grateful for the staff and doctors at Wadsworth. If you need care for your pet I highly recommend Wadsworth Animal Hospital. They are the difference.

My dogs love the staff at Wadsworth Animal Hospital. I love the fact that my dogs are happy when seeing the vet, and that when we have an appointment we are always seen promptly. We are even seen promptly when we are walk-ins! One of my dogs is aggressive to other dogs, so when we showed up as a walk-in for a booster shot the staff took her through the back door so we could avoid any drama with the other dogs sitting in the waiting room. It is that kind of understanding and accommodation that makes me super appreciative of Wadsworth Animal Hospital.

Weve been seeing Wadsworth Animal Hospital and Dr Eisen for nearly 15 years. His experience and knowledge is unparalleled in our experience as pet owners. It would be impossible to even guess at the amount of heartache and expense weve avoided by having our animals correctly diagnosed and treated. The staff are incredibly friendly and competent, and take great care in treatment and followup. Finding a good vet is like finding a good mechanic: When you do, hang onto them as tightly as you can!
