I have been a patient of Dr. McMunn’s for approximately (2) years. I am continually impressed with the courteousness of her staff and the helpfulness/willingness that Dr. McMunn demonstrates in going the extra mile to help. I suffered from some puzzling vision problems in the past and it was Dr. McMunn who discovered a non-eye related root cause after a very thorough examination and investigation. Other primary care physicians were unable to determine the root cause. I have also received excellent help from Dr. McMunn and her staff in the past year with eyeglass frame manufacturing defects. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the service and problem solving assistance I received. The cleanliness and sterilization practices that are in place for examinations are also very reassuring to me and I’m certain other patients as they can see the practices in process. Not something that routinely occurs at other clinics or Dr. offices.

Went to Dr. McMunn a few weeks ago after experiencing very blurry vision and vertigo. I hadnt had an eye exam in a long time and I found her to be very laid-back and extremely easy to talk to. She diagnosed me and assured me that it wasnt more than a vision problem. She gave me a prescription for progressive lenses. Michelle helped me pick out the frame and today I received my new glasses and they are perfect - exactly what I needed. They look and feel wonderful and the best part is -- I can see so clearly now! Im happy that I found Dr. McMunn and Im extremely happy with the entire staff. The office is very welcoming and so I made appointments for my two children to have eye exams with Dr. McMunn. It will be much easier having everyone at the same practice and having the eye glasses there too is a big convenience - plus that have really nice frames!

Office and location is very welcoming as soon as you enter the place. The staff are very attentive, friendly, and seem to make sure you have been taken care of. Dr. McMunn is easy going, friendly, ecstatic, full of energy, and intelligent doctor. She finds multiple solutions so that you are provided with options and see what suits you best comfortably and economically. This was my first visit, and my impression was better than expect. These are the types of doctors that are hard to find, but once you do, you dont ever want to switch. The staff is also very thorough with their explanations of each type of tests/analysis they go through during your exam.

My family all go to see Dr. McMunn and I was still at my other doctor office. I was unhappy with the service and exam I was receiving from my other doctor and my current prescription so I chose to change this year and see how this exam would go. I was delighted to know my suspicions were right about my old glasses and they were indeed too strong and we started from scratch and retested everything and found a correct prescription for me. I am very pleased by the doctor and the staff there...really was a great experience and I will return.

I enjoy every visit to Advanced Eyecare. The staff and doctor are very friendly and helpful. I always feel welcome and comfortable. Dr. McMunn is always very thorough and doesnt rush through your appointment. She gives you her complete attention and takes time to answer questions. She checks so many more things than other eye doctors have in the past. I feel confident that I am receiving the best care possible. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for outstanding eye care.

I have never been in an office that was more friendly and sincerely cared about their patients. Dr McMunn couldnt have been more thorough, which is surprising in this day and age where time always seems to be a factor. She explained thoroughly what my eyes were experiencing, and made me feel at ease. I was also very happy with getting a great pair of eye wear. I cant wait to go back! :)

Tuesday nights 4:00 p.m. appointment was a breeze, I was greeted with a smile, doctors assistant performed my needed tests pleasantly & efficiently, I picked out 2 pairs of new prescription glasses (they even have safety glasses that will be effective & are pretty good looking) and was on my way in less than an hour, despite the office being pretty busy! What more could one ask for?

Best eye doctor and office Ive ever been too. Doctor was sweet and so caring as was the staff. Im so glad I found them when searching the net for eye doctors in East Lyme. Doctor takes her time with you and truly cares. Even gave me her after hours number in case of emergency. I would highly recommend Dr. McMuann at Advanced Eyecare, LLC.

As a veteran of nearly 40 years of eye exams I can say this was one of the best and most thorough exams I have ever had. Unlike my former opthamologist I didnt have to wait forever for an appointment and certainly couldnt have gotten a better exam from them. Dr. McMunn is extremely thorough and compassionate.
