Our family has been with White River Family Eye Care for a few years. My eldest daughter found them and we all switched over. Excellent care from Dr. Dufour, she is always spending the time with her patients to give them a thorough examination. She explains all that she is doing and what she is looking for when examining your eyes. The service is great when trying to choose the right frames, they dont push the expensive ones on you. They let you choose what fits your budget the best. I took my prescription to BJs once for new frames, the service there is not as Professional as White Rive Family Eye Care.

When I called to ask what the cost for an eye exam was, They said $90 for an eye and contact exam. I went for the eye exam, paid the $90. Their office staff said they would try to also charge "something" to my insurance. I told them I dont think my insurance covers this, but gave them my insurance info. My insurance did not pay, and they sent me to COLLECTIONS for an amount of $140 that (1) they never quoted me, and (2) I never agreed to pay. I have tried to nicely reason with them many times, and received only a cold response: "The charge stands." Stay away!!!!!

They have a great selection of frames and you are helped to pick the right frame for you. We also have had to call on an Emergency and received very fast help!!
