I have been going to this office for about a year and I have really liked Dr. Desai. Unfortunately, my child had a follow up appointment with Dr. Donlad Kohn. We were scheduled for a 30 minute appointment because my son was still feeling discomfort from extractions done a few days before, and I wanted to make sure everything was ok. Dr. Kohn was very rushed with my son and seemed like he didnt care. After he checked my son (for two minutes), we went to the front desk to check out. In front of everyone in earshot he said to the woman at the front Next time a patient with Husky Insurance should only have 10 minutes on my schedule. I was so shocked at his remark that I didnt say anything. I felt discriminated against because of my insurance, I am a good mother raising three kids on my own. How dare he say that. He felt that because of my state insurance I should not have the same amount of time as another. His attitude and remarks hurt me more then words could say. I will never go back to this office. I feel bad for everyone that has the Husky plan and go to this office, because Dr. Kohn obviously treats them without respect. Please research other Doctors that accept Husky for your children.

Best place!!! Dr.Kohn and staff are amazing!!! My son is now 8, when I was younger we started with husky insurance when my son was very young. At 4 my son had several dentists because we have terrible experiences. We kept having to switch them because he would scream, cry and ultimately freak out at the dentist. He of course had extra teeth, and needed surgery and them removed. I panicked, we have had several terrible dentist visits and experiences. So I came across the information about Dr.Kohn, and I had to try someone new. Everything went wonderful. The office was so helpful and comforting with every thing. The atmosphere and staff there made the transition from dentist to dentist so smooth. They made my son feel comfortable, and he did wonderful there. My son Now looks forward to the dentist. Now I have other insurance and unfortunately the office is out of network. I refuse to switch dentists because no one can match the care and professionalism that I have experienced there. So our family is paying out of pocket for the differences, by it is worth it. I would strongly suggest you take your child there.

If I could give it less than one start I would. I took my daughter here when she was 3 and I was double insured through my husband and my workplace with no cap on either policy. I was told that they would need to take my daughter to the hospital and put her under anesthesia for fillings and caps.....on baby teeth. Even with being double insured, we were quoted at over $3,000 to have the procedure done. There was also a $400 "convenience" fee that would have been applied had we gone through with the procedure. We decided to get a second opinion. Glad we did. The new dentist was not one to do unnecessary procedures and let her baby teeth fall out naturally. He kept a close on the ones in the worst shape and fixed them one by one as needed. My daughters permanent teeth grew in beautiful. 6 years later, I reviewed my credit report only to find out that they have sent me to collections for a $109 bill. Not sure how I incurred that since, again, I was double insured and pretty much everything was covered. These people are scam artists and prey on unsuspecting families by performing unnecessary procedures.

Well to start this dentist is extremely rude and short with you ,kind like the opposite you would expect from a childrens dentist . I had gone there multiple times cause it was recommended from a dr. we really love but the moment I walked in i know there was problems ,you can always tell when the staff act like they are being held against their will. All that was fine and could live with until after paying multiple bills a 21 day late bill was sent instantly to collection , never reached out or tried to contact me beforehand the bill slipped past me in mail , avoid this place its a low rent operation .

My daughter started going to Pediatric Dentistry Associates when she was 1 and a half and even though she was terrified the staff made her feel right at home. They got her in and out quickly and by the time she left she was laughing and playing with every one. The dentist can be a scary place for a little one but the staff made us feel very comfortable and like we were in great hands! Thank you for providing a great first experience for our family!

My experiences with my kids at Pediatric Dentistry Associates have been great! The dentists and staff are good with explaining to my kids and keeping them calm during any procedure being done with them. I am sure many people see keeping kids calm when taking them to the dentist as a difficult task, but I do not worry about this when taking my kids to Pediatric Dentistry Associates in New Haven. I definitely recommend coming here.

I have taken my 2 boys here 3-4 times now. Every time we go, they never want to leave. They actually look forward to coming back! What 3 and 5 years olds do you know that like the dentist? My youngest actually said, "Can we come back tomorrow?" Lol Dr. Colin and the other staff members are always warm and welcoming. Theyre all so great with my kids. Happy kids, happy mom :)

Horrible.......shame on them. Their receptionist at the front window told me I could not come back because Id missed an appointment. Seems theres a dark side to this place. The office namer JUne was very nice and the other receptionist is nice. But the owner is something else, a mars assist perhaps in disguise. Steer clear.

I brought my son for his first cleaning and exam. Everyone in the office was very nice. It was a very pleasant experiance. I will definitely be returning again for another cleaning with him in six months. Again I was very pleased, and they were very good and proffesional

My family and I LOVE it at Pediatric Dentistry Associates. Dr. Colin is patient, kind, and amazing with my 3 children. The staff and hygienist are great as well! Came from a local "family" dental office that scared my children. Cant recommend this office enough!

Terrible experiences here. On multiple visits we felt the doctor we saw was condescending and lacking compassion. We took our children elsewhere and have been happy.
