I have heard that people have though this place is very expensive and that they recommend unneeded testing and vaccines and so forth. After trying them out for myself I completely agree. We have been asked to purchase unneeded and over priced vitamins, re-do our vaccines because they said they weren’t given on the right dates, which was untrue come to find out and every time we walk through their door they have something to recommend or another test they want to give. I am honestly annoyed that they want to charge “emergency fees” when our dog gets injured and has to come in even thought their schedule is pretty open. I understand they have bills to pay, but I think they are going about it the wrong way. I do think they are very knowledgeable and very nice, but I just can’t seem to walk out of there without spending an arm and a leg, and I have never dealt with this at any other vet. I wish I hadn’t moved so far from our last vet.

My Golden has been a client of SVC since the day we brought him home as a puppy which is now 10 years ago. Our 2nd Golden was a breeder dog in TN and when her last litter was stillborn the owner turned her over to a rescue group. She never knew any positive affection only negative results from humans. Doctors Shawn & Stephanie has always taken care of my duo and Im well beyond satisfied with the results from yearly check-ups to various operations such as pulling fracture teeth from my rescue or ear flap operations. The staff is always polite, helpful and courteous. The staff is the same as they added additional personnel over the years. No one leaves which tell something about the work environment. All pluses in my book. The advice given to me for my rescue dog was a referral to a Vet Dog Behaviorist. It worked! Very satisfied here.

When Sophie was 8 weeks old she had pneumonia in both her lungs so I had found Shelton veterinarian through the web site and I never expected the help that I received. Doctor Rafferty gave Sophie the care she needed , it was touch and go because she was only 3 pounds. The medication was strong for a puppy and I had to bring her everyday for treatments however with all the love and help with the staff Sophie was getting better everyday and was cured. I recently took Sophie who is now 7 years old for her shots and had a great wellness visit. Shelton Veterinary Center is very clean, friendly and most of all they care about you pet.

Weve brought our dogs here since right after they opened. We have two dogs now, a very energetic golden and and a flat coated retriever. These are dogs #3 and #4 to be patients of the good doctors and their staff. I have always found the entire staff friendly, professional and helpful. I have never had a problem getting an appointment, even when its unexpected. One Saturday morning the golden tore an entire nail off her foot. When I called all they said was "well see you when you get here". They care about our furry family members almost as much as we do. I cant recommend them more highly

When Sophie was a puppy she had double pneumonia and she might not pull through because she was only 2 lbs and nine weeks old, however Sophie had to have strong medication that might have killed her because she was so young and everyday I had to bring Sophie for special treatments . With the care of the staff, Dr. Rafferty and I Sophie started to show signs of recovery. It was a long road. Sophie is now a happy 6 year old thanks to the Shelton Veterinary they showed me they really care about the animals. I would not go any where else.

Absolutely the worst staff in the entire Veterinary field I have ever had the displeasure of meeting when my mom took our pets there I dont care how long they have been there theyre just rude and nasty they dont seem to care much about my pets nor did they seem to care much about their clientele and Im not referring to the doctors Im referring to the staff I see so many complaints on here about the staff its just ridiculous they need new staff members and then maybe this place would be five stars I wouldnt even give it one at this point

We have been going to Shelton Veterinary Center for about 13 years working with Dr. Stefanie Kreiger. She is an excellent veterinary and our dogs health as her first priority. Our dog is a diabetic and she works very closely with us in his treatments. We find the staff is wonderful and caring. They always go out of their way to make our dog comfortable and relaxed. They are very friendly and always try to accommodate us with making appointments that will work with our schedules.

The woman running the business are largely overbearing. They do not seem to like animals at all. I felt vey uncomfortable in this place. They are very aggressive. They pushed unessesary purchases and services on me. They are incompassionate, cold and hard. Although they dont care for pets, they do love money . They have a great appetite for business & money! Take my words, dont bring your pet to this business. It is a bsiness for them, not a caring healing place for your pet.

Shelton Veterinary Center is the highest quality veterinary care combined with a personal touch. Every single member of the staff goes out of their way to be welcoming and show their care and concern for the pets they treat. Dr. Kreiger has continually gone over and above in the care of our three Goldens. She has often followed up on evenings or weekends following specialized treatment, and has been a great resource for us in our breeding. We are grateful to all the staff!

Ive been going to Shelton Vet Center for a few months with my dog. I am now looking for a new vet. They are very one sided and seem to care about only money. If I didnt agree with their way, they just lecture me and tell me Im wrong. You can tell they only preach what theyre taught and do no research on other health, diet, and training methods. Im not saying I know everything, but at least I do the proper research and dont patronize those who do things differently.

My husband and I have been bringing our cat to the center for about 8 years. We have found all of the people here to be very kind and understanding of our rather unruly cat. They understood her fears and knew how to treat her with kindness and compassion. Unfortunately we had to euthanize our beloved pet and the staff here was very understanding of our needs and compassionate with our furry friend. We thank them for being so great to us and our cat.

Weve been taking our cats to Shelton Vet Center for years. Weve worked with both of the full time vets and many assistants over the years, theyre all great! They have helped our pets through a few emergencies and of course during routine vaccinations & checkups. The staff always have a caring attitude, even if the cat is being cranky about seeing the vet. Anyone looking for a good vet for their pets, should check out this group.
