My friend is a 24 year old diabetic and was having very severe stomach pains followed by nausea. When we arrived at the "emergency" department he was moaning and crying because of all the pain he was in. He was throwing up as well. It was 90 degrees outside and he felt very dizzy. The "nurse" and secretary were extremely nonchalant about it. He was the only one in the waiting room and the secretary and nurse were laughing and hanging out in the lobby not paying him any mind. This is not a real hospital. If you have a true and serious emergency do not come here. They are not official and do not fit the description of a hospital setting. Over all poor experience. I do not recommend.

My husband went into anaphylactic shock. The medic saved his life but had to transport him to Rockville Hospital where we incured an over $2,000 bill for the doctor to tell him didnt know what happened and to see a specialist...spent less than 5 mins with us. Double the price of the ambulance medic who actually administered life saving medicine. Oh and come to find out they are supposed to keep you for at least 4 hours to ensure you dont have a second attack...we were there for 40 mins.

RGH may have had some growing pains in the last few years but I still think they provide appropriate care. My dad was taken care of during his last stay and the staff was there as needed and helpful with paperwork. I would give the ICU 5 stars alone. However, there is always that waiting factor in the ER, PromptCare, blood draw, and radiology.

The emergency room is slow, even when your the only person there. When I had a bad infection they didnt do anything except give prescription for antibiotics. We ended up going to Hartford Hospital instead, who had handled the situation way better, receiving surgery and proper treatment. Only good thing from Rockville Hospital is the food.

So upset at this hospital. My brother went to the ER and was admitted. He has open wounds and needs to be patched up daily. I went to the nurse station on friday and told them his patches havent been changed. He had been in since Wed to Saturday. Still no one has changed them. Very upset at this hospital and their staff.

Worse hospital Ive ever been to. The nurses and nurses aides have little to no care. Have to pester them to get anything done. All they do is sit around the nurses station and gossip.

I went to the ER at 3am in severe pain and the Doctor told me that there was nothing she could do for me or my pain, and then sent me home. This is absolutely unreal.

I would give this -5 if I could,you come in with pain and leave worse.... Not one nurse comes by to check on you,this is by far the worse hospital Ive been.....

This hospital is currently treating my mom with a severe case of shingles...The nurses and every other employee was very polite and helpful!
