Keith and the staff at Peak are the best! I injured my shoulder in August 2014 and tried to "ignore it and itll go away" like I do with all of my fitness related injuries. It didnt go away, it got worse and finally 9 months later I went to a doctor who recommended physical therapy. I chose Peak because of a recommendation of a family member and it was the best decision I couldve made. Keith is wonderful, knowledgeable, funny, and really takes the time to get to know his clients and explain to them how the body, muscles and bones work together and how he is going to help fix them. He figures his clients out, what makes them tick and wants to know why theyre really there...whether it is just to be able to walk pain free or to be able to resume normal everyday activity, or, as in my case, to lift heavy things in the gym. I looked forward to going to my sessions, it was a fun experience, especially since I saw progress in my shoulder pain within just a couple of sessions. Although I didnt work directly with Jim or Morgan, theyre extremely friendly and easy to talk to. Within just a couple of weeks of going there, I had already recommended Peak to a friend who had been told by doctors that her injury was a lost cause and needed surgery. Keith and the rest of Peak are setting out to prove them wrong and she has made huge strides in her recovery so far. My shoulder is a work in progress, primarily because I waited so long to seek help, but it is 1000 times better than it was when I first walked in and I am very happy with my care at Peak. Very highly recommended!

I am an Orthopedic Physical Therapist with over 16 years of experience. I can tell you with certainty that not all PT’s are created equal. Keith Havemeyer is the owner and primary therapist at Peak Physical Therapy. Keith is with-out doubt an exceptional PT. To start with, he has several advanced orthopedic degrees that are very rare in our field. These take several years each to obtain and require endless hours of study and hands on training with the most skilled therapists in the country. I have personally worked with over 50 PT’s in the past decade and not a single one possessed these qualifications. Keith is also one of the most compassionate, understanding and patient healthcare providers you will meet. This along with his ability to educate his patients on their diagnosis and care provide a unique combination. One commonly asked question is who a therapist sees when they need help. I currently work with 18 other great PT’s and I still will go to Keith. So, if you live anywhere in the greater Waterbury area and are in the need for physical therapy services, you should HIGHLY consider Peak Physical Therapy.

I am writing to recommend Peak Physical Therapy. I had a wonderful experience there during my sixteen week post bunionectomy recovery. The space is beautiful and spacious and the therapists are VERY knowledgeable and friendly I would like to extend special thanks to Ms. Qaisra who works at the front desk and if very accommodating with scheduling. I would also like to thank Keith and Jim for their tremendous help in getting me back on my feet. Post-surgery Keith gradually introduced new exercises and increased the difficulty level of the old routine. He very carefully monitored and corrected my form so I would receive the full benefit of the exercise. He also provided TLC to my foot by massaging the scar to break down the scar tissue and desensitize the skin. I am so happy to be able to power walk throughout the streets of Waterbury in my HEELS :) and go through my daily route without any difficulty. Keith and his team have been efficient and extremely professional. They are great people who genuinely care about their patients. Thank you Punam

These physical therapists are FANTASTIC! I went to PEAK to be treated for a whiplash injury from a car accident, for my TMJ, and bad posture. Ive been going to a chiropractor for many years to treat my TMJ and posture but chiropractic therapy did nothing for me compared to what physical therapy has done for me in only a few months. I was mainly seen by Physical Therapist Danielle Broderick and she is the BEST! She gave me simple exercises to do to help myself. These exercises I can do at home too which is great. She is also great at giving neck massages! I feel so much better and my posture has drastically improved. Physical Therapists Keith and Jim are awesome too! This place is a lot of fun and you will leave here feeling great. I highly recommend being a patient of Danielle B. as she is very personable and helpful . She is an excellent physical therapist! :o)

From the minute I walked into Peak Physical Therapy, I was very grateful that this was the place my doctor referred me to. Keith, Jim, and the rest of the staff immediately make you feel like you are family. Keith explained my injury to me with precision, so that I could understand exactly what the problem was and be an informed participant in my recovery. Peak Physical therapy has the perfect combination of knowledge, compassion, and an environment that makes you want to keep coming back. Everyone is always laughing and joking, and it makes the time there go by very quickly. I was honestly sad to be discharged from physical therapy! I am very thankful to Keith and all of the staff at Peak for getting my shoulder back in tip-top condition just in time for my wedding. I would return in a heartbeat.

Steve - Mar 6, 20212 Keith has been my Physical Therapist for 19 years. Keith is very knowledgeable, caring, and willing to teach. He is a true one of a kind care giving professional. Im 58 years young and a year round avid outdoor sport enthusiast (rock & ice climbing, road and mountain biking, hiking, fishing, kayaking, and quite a lot of hard yard work.) Over the years I have developed degenerative disk disease and should not be able to enjoy the quality of life I continue to enjoy. Keith took the extra time and built a program so I can help myself. I have a full stretch & strengthening program Keith has developed and if I stay on top of my exercises, Im living almost pain free. Thanks, Keith

The folks at Peak Physical Therapy genuinely care for you as a patient, and about your progress. From the start Keith made it a point to understand my problem and to listen to my goals as a patient. He then communicated (very effectively) what he thought would serve as a solution - giving details to the science around it and why he thought wed be successful. Were (I say we, because Keith has really made my recovery a joint effort) still working towards me being 100%, but in the time that has passed I have noticed a marked reduction in pain and an increase in range of motion. I look forward to continue to work with Keith and the rest of the Peak Physical Therapy team.

Keiths personal approach and consistent accommodation of my schedule allowed my experience at Peak to be a successful one. We made significant, measurable progress every week through hard work and a personalized PT program. The time that Keith spends with each client, at each session, speaks volumes about his professionalism, as well as, his commitment to helping people. The care and individual attention I received at Peak Physical Therapy made all the difference. Having experienced the level of service provided at Peak, I would confidently refer any person seeking physical therapy to visit Keith and staff at Peak Physical Therapy. DC.
