Terrible office staff - would never go back there again. While sitting in the chair getting worked on the assistant stated the front staff was checking my insurance and waiting to get the approval. About 10 minutes later she stated the insurance was all set and approved for my x-rays. What they failed to state or even give me the option of choosing was that my plan does not cover 4 bitewing xrays, only two as do most plans. Ive NEVER had this issue with any other dentist before - they always must do the 2 per my insurance coverage. I then get a bill in the mail and call the office to inquire -the most unprofessional woman answered the phone and basically would not take any ownership of how they never acknowledged I would be responsible for anything (despite the fact they KNEW my insurance was only going to cover 2). Not even getting the option to choose whether or not I would want to proceed with the additional 2 xrays is unethical and poor business etiquette - WOULD NEVER TRUST THIS DENTIST OR STAFF AGAIN!

New to the area. My Parents contacted Day Hill Dental and informed them they had Connecticare. They were informed "Sure we take Connecticutcare"...........2 cleanings later with x-rays the bill was $540.00 !!!!!! for two 80 year people with dentures. Connecticare covered $170........... My father is fighting the charge and the person at Day Hill Dental was quoted as saying "We are a high class dental office". They took $30.00 off the bill.......Big Deal.... The place is a rip-off and do not patronize them!!!!! BTW - My Parents were never informed that Day Hill Dental was NOT a PPO with Connecticare...........This place sucks! for taking advantage of two 80 year Senior Citizens of which one is a Korean War veteran serving in a MASH unit..........This place owes a my parents a BIG apology and should DROP all charges for lying to Senior Citizens...........

Good doctors... horrible management... I requested an exact quote on certain dental work and I provided them with my insurance info... They give a detailed costs (insurance and co-pay.) A month into using their services, I started receiving some outrageos bills. The office management has the audacity to tell me that my insurance is out of network... (well. why didnt they mentioned it when they provided me with initial costs.) She goes: Well... if you continue to visit our office, I will give you a one time discount... In my opinion, the management were unethical and the charges were too high for what they provided. After looking around, I found out that services provided by this office were "double" the cost compare to other offices... Thank God I was alert early enough.

I have been a patient for 20 years and cannot believe how I am being treated. The dentist did not inform me of charges not covered by insurance (250). I paid little by little, yet my daughter and I were refused treatment until it was paid. My daughter is just 16 and had cement on her teeth from braces. Her cleanings are 100% covered by my insurance and she was still refused as a patient. I was also refused my medical records, which is illegal. The dentist is ok, but if you go here, be very careful. The office staff is also rude and they are bullies if you owe them money.

Dr. Farber and his staff are the best! Friendly, helpful and professional. I needed 2 crowns put in. Dr. Farber clearly explained the process step by step. He made me comfortable and calm throughout the procedure. And the results are great. And from first appointment to the permanent crown was 24 hours.
