My eighteen year old Chihuahua Rose took a drastic turn for the worst this weekend, I knew it was time to have her put to sleep. I called a local vet who wouldnt euthanize her because they had never seen her and PETS ER wanted over $160. Dont get me wrong if they were my only option I would have paid that so my little girl didnt have to suffer. However, Peninsula Veterinary Services was open on Sunday and it only cost me $40. I did a home burial so I didnt pay a fee for cremation (they do offer two options for that). So not only were they open on a weekend and are mindful of the average persons wallet but the staff was AMAZING. I cannot express how thankful and appreciative I am for how nice, comforting, and compassionate everyone was. It is a forty minute drive for me but I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be using them from now on. Thank you so much for everything you did for me and my Rose.

Able to make a same-day appointment for my kitty Sissy, who was suffering from an unremitting skin irritation. Clean and attractive environment, professional friendly staff, seen promptly. Dr. Reid was thorough and direct in her evaluation and treatment. Very reasonably priced. The best part is that Sissy is now feeling much less itchy!! Thank you, Peninsula!!!! You will probably be seeing a lot of our kitties in the future**

Every aspect of my dogs experience here was ideal, until she was given multiple injections with zero site sanitation. No alcohol, no soap. When asked about it, staff claimed that alcohol makes the site more prone to infection. They dont know what my dog was rolling in and they could have very easily made her sick.

Very caring staff for both the animals and owners. Extremely clean facility and bed side manner of all staff. I cannot say enough about Peninsula veterinary service; the hours are exceptional too. All of our animals are now going to Peninsula. We are so very happy! Thank you!
