Lucky for the ones who get quick responses from this Vet Service. Only one time did I get answered quickly when my dog had bladder stones, Dr. Bob did a great job removing them only to be told by Dr. Karli if it was her she wouldnt have done this type of surgery that raised a red flag in my mind.Seems after this stone removal any more text messages to them took a long time for responding. I asked several folks if this is how they do people. I was told to give them a chance they will answer you but sometimes not until later in the day or the next day, I dont call that fast and efficient. All my Vets answered me quickly. The last draw was a week or so ago, my little dog had a terrible breathing issue at 1:30 in the morning. I knew these two didnt do night calls but I thought if they are my Primary Vets I would let them know whats happening and took her to animal ER. I was told she may have a kidney stone lodged in her urethra and that could block her urine. That there were only 2 places to remove it if thats the case. I was sent home with her x-ray and meds and was told to follow up with the Flanagans who I assumed were my Vets. I left a message at 5 am about my dog I was frantic about her, in fact I couldnt sleep worrying and waiting for this Drs. response on what to do next. My message was read at around 8 and neither Dr. thought it was that important to answer me then. I was very angry with them, I was told that they dont do night calls and thats what overnight Animal hospitals are for that they had many other pet appts this day and couldnt answer my message then that I would have been answered later that day. Because I was impatient the Dr. said I would no longer hear from them and hope I can find a Vet who meets my needs. I thought these two were the right Veterinarians evidently they were not and I did find Veterinarian thank God, who offered to see my dog ASAP and look at her xrays and urinalysis. In fact he examined my little dog and second dog free of charge and I was amazed he called the next day and the day after that to see how she was. How many Veterinarians do that? My dog is going to be alright thanks to our new Veterinarian who calmed my worries, that I am now very happy with said he will do all he can to.keep her and the other pet healthy. I will not deal with this uncaring, uncommunicative In Home Vet service again. My dog could have died and they could care less what happened to her, my pets are just as important to me as are other pets, so I will not recommend this Veterinary Services they are not dependable when they are needed nor do they leave a secondary Vet if they are not available they just leave you hanging. Their fees were $$$$ and I paid every dime to have good service from them for my dogs. Sadly it wasnt the case with me. My pets are now in good hands.

Where do you start when it comes to your vet? In my world, with 5 pets and the occasional foster, I need to trust my vet more than my own doctor. I need to know that I am getting sound advice and that cost is considered. With both Dr. Karli & Dr. Bob Flanagan, I have implicit trust. They have taken care of all of my pets for the last few years after being referred to them by a friend. And boy did I luck out! They are up to date on the latest veterinary medicine practices, but also sort of feel like the old-time vet who came to your house and comforted you and your pets like they were part of the family. In my case, Drs. Flanagan are! Where it be dealing with new cat who will not be kept inside (and the considerations related to an indoor/outdoor cat, a cat who shreds every piece of furniture I own, or an aging special needs Siamese, a chocolate lab who has a torn ACL and behavior problems or a chocolate lab who has a growing benign tumor - they answer all of my extensive questions with patience (in laymans term) and kindness while presenting me with ALL of my options and then offering me their personal and professional opinions of the best course of action for my pet and my family. Finally, for the busy working pet parent - Drs. Flanagan are a dream come true! They work with your schedule, they do much of their communication over email and text and will be the first to say - this doesnt sound like a big deal - watch for X, Y, and Z and call me right away if that happens, otherwise lets check in in a day or two and see where things stand. My former housecall vet wanted to come out (appt fee) for every little thing that cropped up - and with 5 pets thats almost a daily occurrence! So, in summary, if you want a house call pet that is top in the profession, kind, compassionate, and sensitive to your needs - you cannot do better than InHome Vet Care!!!

Unfortunately we had a horrible experience speaking with this vet the night we put our sweet girl down. I called based on a recommendation by a friend. We were in need of euthanizing our girl in an emergency like situation. The vet asked me many questions about my dog like he was going to come to our home. After the questioning he told me him and his wife werent available and they dont do night calls...all the while I am holding my dog crying and my husband and daughter are hysterical in the background. I ask him if he can come in the morning and what time..he casually says "I dont know really, maybe 9..9:30..even 10 am, but who is to say she will make it through the night without any more seizures." My husband pleads to him asking if it is monetary and we will pay any amount to just have her euthanized in our home. The response I got from him in a laughing tone was that he owns multiple practices and money isnt important to him..he just does this on the side, maybe if we would have gotten him 20 years ago he would have. Wish this wasnt a part of our memory the night we said goodbye to our sweet girl but unfortunately it is.

I am so happy that I called them!!!!! We recently moved back to the area and our old vet is about 45 minutes away. I havent had a chance to find a new vet and my older dog hurt her leg over the weekend and couldnt walk on it. She is older and not in the best of health and also has had a bad skin problem her whole life, lust, she is a big girl. I spent quite a bit of time online and making calls when I came across In Homes web site. They had better reviews than most of the other vets in the area and in my situation, an in-home visit was great. Both doctors were able to come and were at my house within an hour. They were very informative, so nice, and I couldnt be happier with the care they gave both of my dogs... They were able to check my other dog and give him all his vaccinations while they were here. They are wonderful! I was able to have both of my dogs examined, treated, and got all of their meds for less than it would have cost me to take one dog in to a vet hospital. In Home will be the only vet i will be using. I cannot recommend them enough- I am so happy. I found them!
