After reading the reviews, to late mind you. The negative ones do prevail for good reason. I went to Alina Stanciu over three months ago for Botox. To say this woman is not only a sloppy recluse would be doing an injustice to all who came here seeking retribution. She talked me into Dermal Fillers, saying "she was the best in town". My appointment time literally felt like less than 30 seconds, Botox dripping all over my face & clothes and she was DONE, dermal fillers and all! It was like an assembly line in her office. Not only did she not do what I asked her to do, even after returning several times for sloppy, horrible work, for a very simple, minuscule procedure. I am still bruised, over three months later!!! I looked up the reason on the internet and the results may be permanent if not treated. She never did anything, said anything or suggested a treatment to remove the persistent bruising. I went in for several follow up treatments because her treatment results were so incredibly awful. Frightening, I also believe she may be sharing needles. BEWARE!! Dr. Alina Stanciu made a comment to me "its not like Im sharing needles or anything". I had been secretly wondering if this was the case & she said it out-loud. What Doctor in their right mind would let a statement like this come out of their mouth??!!! Dr. Alina Stanciu has been reported to ALLERGAN and in the process of reporting to the board of physicians for misconduct. GO ELSEWHERE.

Another positive experience with Dr. Stanciu. This was my second time seeing her for Botox. The first was from her Groupon special and I found her to be very professional so I came back. She took her time explaining to me the areas that needed the most attention and why. Nothing about this appointment was rushed and the women at the front desk were attentive and polite as well. Each time I was taken to a room and numbing cream was applied before my injections. Shortly after I was seen by the doctor right on time. I work for an ophthalmologist in Naples who doesnt do cosmetic procedures unfortunately so I am happy to have tried her and feel confident in her technique. She has an aesthetic approach that will leave you feeling good about yourself. Her Naples office is really nice and in a great location. I highly recommend seeing her there if you are interested in cosmetic procedures.

Yesterday, I waited an hour to see her to be rushed into a small room. She answered her cell phone. While in the waiting room, I heard a confrontation from a patient who was charged for services he claimed didnt ask for in addition to his groupon and she said "I dont have time for stupid people" for 5 other patients waiting to hear. She rushed Botox injections and my forehead was dripping with blood. Luckily, I had a good experience previously who explain what to expect and do/do nots of the procedure (like do not rub the area). When I had a plastic surgeon do it, he took his time, studied my facial expressions, and only did about 5-6 slow deep injection. This woman jabbed me over a dozen times as fast as she could. Im terrified what complications I may have. After reading all the horrible reviews, I dont know how she has a license to practice.

If I had to sum up my experience with Dr. Stanciu I can do it with 2 words: totally unprofessional! I accompanied my husband for his appointment. The examination room was a complete disaster. There were several opened bottles of eye drops sitting on the counter. The doctor appeared to have a runny nose and wiped her nose with the back of her hand a couple of times. Needless to say she didnt seem to be too concerned about spreading germs. Dr. Stanciu told my husband he had cataracts and needed to have cataract surgery. She seemed very rushed and when I asked what the surgery entailed, she told me to go home and Google it! Needless to say, we have never been back. As for my husband, he did have the cataract surgery with Dr. Thomas Quigley who did a fabulous job and patiently answered our questions.

For the past three years, I see year Dr Stanciu twice a year for her fillers, a service she offers in addition to her primary ophthalmology practice. I am very pleased with the results of her work. I have found her to be skilled, competent, and personable, as is her staff. I agree with commenters that we often spend more time than expected in the waiting room, (like most doctor offices these days) however, once in the treatment room, Dr. Stanciu gives me her undivided attention and consistently does an excellent job. I have very little bruising from her treatments and look terrific for 4-6 months after my treatment. I highly recommend Dr Stanciu.

Ive been going to Alina for over a year. Im not going say that Ive always gotten right in at my appointment time at all. What I will say is that when Im in her care Ive gotten personal interaction and the absolute best Botox experience of my life. I look amazing after. I dont look like Im a Botox queen. I look natural and refreshed. Shes always outgoing and open. I wouldnt go to anything one else. And I drive all the way from Cape Coral to see her. Shes an artist. More than once shes told me no to something I thought I needed. I appreciate her honesty. Im willing to wait a few minutes for quality, but thats just me

Doctor is one of the best eye specialists in the country! She might be a little brash but she just wants to make sure you are provided with the best care possible. I missed a few months worth of appointments and Doc was upset with me because I have a serious condition that needs continual medical care. She yelled at me but I deserved it! This just shows me she cares....if you dont want a straight forward, highly qualified doctor who might hurt your feelings once in awhile because your probably not falling her orders--Then go somewhere else! If you want to see a leading specialist then I recommend Dr Stanchiu:)

If you enjoy waiting an hour beyond your appointment time and if you like to overhear your doctor deal with very unhappy patients--this the place for you. Very unprofessional! I waited the first time for my appointment giving the Doctor the benefit of knowing everyone has bad days. The second time I went she was in the elevator with me--obviously just arriving, looking disheveled and with her coffee in hand (at 10:15 AM). After waiting over an hour beyond my appointment time I left--never to return. She has these groupons because I feel thats how she can get new clients!

Dr. Stanciu is just stunning in both her skills and her bedside manner . I really cant name another doctor that Ive met who cares about her patients the way she does . I went in and o her office several months ago for a procedure feeling less than stellar and made me feel cared about and took the time she needed to ensure that I felt 10 notches above where I walked in . Her skills are magnificent in the area of esthetics and eye care . I will not see anyone else but this caring perfectionist! Nina

WARNING!!! PERMANENT BRUISING ON MY FACE DUE TO INSANELY UNPROFESSIONAL, SLOPPY WORK. BOTOX DRIPPING DOWN MY FACE. DERMAL FILLER WAS NOT OPENED FROM THE BOX IN FRONT OF ME. ALINA STANCIU COULD NOT ACCOMPLISH THE REMOVAL OF A VERY BASIC PROCEDURE; THE REMOVAL VERY SMALL WRINKLES AROUND MY LIPS WHICH I PAID HER TO DO. MY LIPS LOOK WORSE THAN BEFORE AND SHE REFUSED TO FIX, AND NEVER ADDRESSED THE BRUISING. F-ED UP!
