There is a terrific set of people at this dental office. I am truly glad I came. Starting off, Diana at the front desk is an empathetic person who cares about the patients that come in. She answered my silly questions with understanding and interest. I have always had apprehensive thoughts about dental work and I must Dr. Galloway is an awesome dentist who treated me exactly like I needed to be treated. Furthermore, Lisa, Dr. Galloways assistant, was also especially caring and had no issue answering any of my questions when presented before, during or after the visit. Both Dr. Galloway and Lisa allayed my fears. A few days later I went in and had Dr. Purcell do some oral surgery extractions on my wisdom teeth. This guy has hands of gold! He kept on telling me if I felt "anything" -- to let him know as he did not want me to feel any pain (during a tooth extraction!). The best I can compare this procedure to was a cavity filling with a bit more pushing and pulling. I was listening to my audio book and barely realized a thing. I look forward to coming back to Advanced Dental Care of Lakewood Ranch!!

Hated it. I just came back from the office.. I was scheduled for a regular cleaning with Miguel and to see my doctor Purcell as well. After a long wait I finally got in, Miguel wasnt too happy to see me and looked into my mouth and said everything looked good and my cleaning this time is going to be more expensive as he decided to do a different kind. I declined it and said at this time I will do a regular one since my last time he forced me into a deep cleaning ( 6 month ago).. So the answer was no, he wont do it, as my doctor didnt even see me or told him to do so I was confused.. So he was ok with me leaving. The lady at the front desk tried to fix it as she could not believe Miguel wont get doctors opinion, which my dentist decides if I need any extra care or not.. Waisted time, bad experience once again.. I really like dr. Purcell but I think its time to find a better place.

BEWARE: As a new resident to LWR, I took my 16 y/o son here to have a regular dental exam and teeth cleaning on 8/18/2015. He was taken in for an exam. I was called back and advised he had SEVEN cavities and that treatment would run $1,268.80. (I have this in writing on a Financial Arrangement form). He had NEVER had a cavity before. I asked for his X-rays to be emailed to his regular dentist, who was located about an hour away. The following day we went to my sons regular dentist who has treated him since age 3 (and a Duke University grad). He had a usual exam, they looked at the X-rays emailed, and his teeth were cleaned. He had NO CAVITIES. This facility and other ADC facilities participate in the "Dentrite" savings plan (operating from 6240 Lake Osprey Drive in Sarasota) and the operation seems like one big health care scam.

I have been visiting this dental office for eight (8) years and the staff is wonderful. The moment you walk in the door you enter a clean comfortable environment, and are greeted with smiles from the front desk. I have visited with many of the Doctors that work at the Lakewood Ranch location of Advanced Dental Care and I have never had a bad experience. Doctor Purcell is down to earth and fun. More importantly, I have family that frequents another dental office in Manatee and they have dubbed their hygienist "Nurse Ratched". I could never say that about Joy. On top of being awesome at her job, she is always considerate and kind. I very much look forward to seeing her and having my teeth cleaned every six months.

Coming from a family of dentists -- both my father and uncle -- I grew up having the best care for my teeth obviously. Now that my father is now retired, it was comforting being able to find such a great practice to take care of me here in Bradenton. I take maticulous care of my teeth, however, I cracked half a tooth on a piece of hard candy and needed a crown. Need I say they actually made it better than the native tooth? Very friendly, professional, and organized Practice. Cant say enough about Keverly who does my cleanings every 6 months as well. Highly recommended if you are in the search for a new Group.

The bafoons in this office have screwed up every single step in the insurance/authorization paperwork process to the point of delaying treatment for my daughter by several months. Seeking a routine exam/referral this office 1)failed to file paperwork to insurance after multple requests 2)failed to respond to phone calls inquiring about same 3) submitted paperwork to insurance for additional xrays to determine whether they could provide a referral, after they had already referred us to an oral surgeon. This office offers a new level of ineptitude, even for the healthcare system. Good luck!

I am going to let you all in on the best kept secret Advanced Dental Care has ... Doctor Maan !! He is new to the practice so his schedule is relaxed and he and his team run like a well oiled machine -- I am disabled and had to have several extractions done and I was in great hands.Because of my disability I know I was not an easy patient but Doctor Maan and his team made my comfort their number 1 priority -- I will not hesitate to see Doctor Maan again and would be comfortable with him treating any of my family members.

Dr. Purcell is the best ever. Great, experienced dentist! His support staff are great, very nice people. One time Dr. Purcell charged off a root canal he was working on for me, but had to send me to a specialist. He gave up $1200 dollars out of his pocket for me because I would have been charged twice for the root canal. He worked for two hours or more for free. Cant say enough great things about these people! If you are looking for efficiency and great care you wont go wrong with this Dentist office!

I made an appointment a month ago for new patient. Get a phone call a day before my appointment telling me that there was a scheduling conflict and my appointment was cancelled. Long story short, they tell me that I have to wait one more month for the next available appointment. This is the most unprofessional thing Ive ever seen. I had to wait one month to be seen, and now they wanted me to wait another month due to problems on their end. I cancelled my appointment and will be taking my business elsewhere.

Joy, our hygienist is the absolute Best! She has been taking care of my husband and my teeth for awhile now and our dental health has never been better. My husband has diabetes so he has a lot of dental issues and Joy has handled all of his problems and always with a big smile. She cleans his teeth every 3 months so we are lucky to see her often. And she also has taken very good care of my teeth as well even though I dont have as many problems. Joy is a Joy to be around a a Great Hygienist! Vicki Kinsey
