After moving to Florida, I did some research online to find a good dentist in the area. The reviews I saw on google were good (4.5 out of 5) so I decided on Aspen Dental. From my first experience there to my most recent experience this week, Id recommend not wasting your time with this dentist office. At my first appointment I waited over an hour for my appointment. Then at another appointment I waited 30 minutes longer than my appointment time for a filling. The dentist did the filling and then told me that the decay was very close to the nerve and if the pain wasnt gone in 2 weeks, that Id need a root canal. She should have been able to see from the x ray that I may need a root canal and let me know then. Now Ive had a bad toothache for the past 2 days. I called at 9am on Wednesday and was told they would call me back when they heard from the dentist on what she wanted to do. They didnt call me all day Wed so I went into their office and Desmond told me that they would call me when they heard anything. No call Thursday or all day Friday so I called back Friday afternoon and the best they can do is get me in for their next available slot 2 weeks from now. At which time they will take an x ray, take my money for that and for seeing the dentist and refer me out for a root canal or extraction since they cant do it there (hence making me wait about a month before having this taken care of). Luckily my doctor was able to give me an antibiotic in case I have an infection and give me a stronger pain medicine than tylenol since Im pregnant and cannot even take advil. However she only gave me enough meds to get through today since I thought Id be able to get in for an appointment since Im in so much pain. But no...so now im at a point where I dont want to be on pain meds but I am in an incredible amount of pain without them and still have to go through 2 weeks of this. Time to find another dentist. If you want to keep your teeth, money and time- Id recommend another dentist and NOT Aspen Dental- at least not here on Cortez Rd in Bradenton, FL.

My experience at Aspen Dental, Bradenton, was, on the whole, very good. The only disappointment was that the lady who took the complete mouth x-rays was somewhat inefficient, and once allowed the equipment to hit me right in the jaw, on the sore tooth. She did apologize; still.... She also kept forgetting to push a button on a little remote that she asked me to hold. She would set up the x-ray, leave the room, then have to come back in and click the switch, then go back again to take the x-ray. She did this at least 15 time, I would say. I would think she would have tried to remember to click the button before leaving so that she wouldnt have to keep returning to the room. It made the whole process longer than it needed to be, and if she had remembered to push the button before leaving, she could have saved herself time and energy. They hygienist was very efficient, and after she finished she took a moment, stood in front of me, spoke directly to me and smiled. That was so nice. The Doctor was extremely efficient, and the second time I saw him, seemed a bit more friendly than he did at the initial meeting. Still...he did a good job with the extractions, and that is good. And then there was Josh, the office manager! He was absolutely charming and efficient and made me feel so safe, welcomed and in good hands. He explained everything I needed to know about the insurance and financing. What a jewel he is! He is perfect for that job. All in all, the experience at Aspen Dental, Bradenton, was good. I HATE gong to the dentist, but for the most part, the staff were professional and efficient. Thank you so much.

My experience started with my being the patient from hell because I had to cancel and reschedule several appointments, and I completely forgot one and missed it. The people at Aspen Dental were quite pleasant through all this. The not so good stuff started on the day of my appointment, the one I was actually going to be able to keep. I was scheduled for 3:45 and they had requested that I show up early to fill out paperwork, reasonable. I approached the door at 3:25. The door was locked and sign in the window said they were closed for training and would re open at 4:00. I called the office number (hey I dont always have my cell phone with me, but this was a lucky day) and the call was bounced to a call center in upstate NY. They said my appointment was 4:00, but I double checked my other phone and their robo call said 3:45. All they could do was send an e mail message to be ignored. While I waited several other people arrived and were just about as unhappy as I was. One wanted to pick up his records which had been pre arranged, another had a 4:00 appointment and I dont remember the other ones situation. All three others had various unhappy stories with Aspen Dental, but I cant speak for them. The doors didnt open until 4:05 during which time I had had an emergency call for my business and decided to blow off Aspen Dental once and for all. For what its worth, one of the other patients warned me that they were always very late in taking appointments, often as much as 45 minutes.

I was there back in February and March it was a great experience Danielle and Nicole and Dr.John and Christain were amazing. My crown fell out on Sunday night called Monday morning and they told me I could do a walk in at 2pm I said I had to work at 2pm she said come in on Tuesday at 8am I was there sharp! Well 9am come by I ask the receptionist how long of a wait I just needed the crown cement back in 30 minutes tops finally 10:30 comes by I ask again and the lady said we get to the walk ins during appointments so finally about 10:45 came by they called me in and Danielle took care of me very nice bubbly personality! About 20 mins later Dr. John came in and said I have to recement it back in after he check he went on about his business then the manager comes in and says we can do this tomorrow at 5pm I said no I want it done now Ive been waiting since 8am its now almost noon and came back around noon so I had to miss work because of a 20 minute job took 4.5 hours. Finally I got out at 12:30pm. They need a better system to were they can put two or three emergency on a day! I was not happy about this experience! Besides the nice Danielle and Dr.John and Christain!

Do not go to this place if you need more then cleanings. I had a partial that broke and they could not fix because it wasnt theirs. But I went with them it took 4 weeks to get my new partial and after 4 months it broke biting into pizza. I went in and yes they had to be sent back to lab after another 2 weeks with no teeth the "fixed ones" were back but no longer fit properly so sent back. Another 2 weeks with no teeth, they were back again and still didnt fit right so they made a mold for new and another 4 weeks wait another pair that didnt really fit but took them anyways because I had interviews and couldnt go toothless after time my mouth adjusted but I stopped payment. I cslled them to complain and to have my issues discounted on my payment plan they said no. How many hours I sat there v and many months with no teeth. These ppl and the Indian female dentist are very rude. The other work they did on my teeth fillings etc. Were cheap material as well and had to be redone.
