My dad took his dog to Plantation because he wasnt eating and the vet came out to talk to me and my dad together to tell us what the problem was. Her first words to my dad were " your dog is very sick" we were both instantly devastated her next sentence was " how much can you afford to spend today". Apparently my dads dog had ibds- which is like ibs in humans...not fatal but my dad ended up walking out spending hundreds in cash and they reluctantly took a check for the difference but did ask me a few times if he would be good on the check. I was disgusted at how they took advantage of his emotions and really only seemed to be worried about the money. I understand vet services can be expensive and nothing is free these days...but come to find out...the dog is fine and doesnt need all the expensive meds and food that they sold to my dad and insisted the dog needed. Be careful going here. There are other very competent vets in the area that will not make up an illness to get your money..and they are also more reasonable as far as office visits

Dr. Tammy is an amazing person. When my puppy was dying we tried to go to midway animal hospital. It was the middle of the night and raining hard. They asked if we were a member and we said no, they then said they could not help us that we had to come back during business hours. Tammy was our vet so we called her office and she called back and said she was on her way but it would be about 20 minutes. When she got there she started right away on working on our dog. She did not have the tool there to get it but she knew someone at midway and could we drive there with her. We followed her and her and another vet worked on roxy for a few hours. Our dog ended up dying but she sent us a card saying sorry and did not charge us. Midway did charge us, but Tammy did more than i can ever be thankful for. We now take new dogs to her.

A great vet ! We are taking Charlie our puppy over there and i have to say that Dr. Tammy is amazing. She cares so much about the dogs and treats our dog like a little prince. My wife had to put down her dog last year and Dr. Tammy was so supportive and called my wife few months later to know how was she doing. She is going above and beyond. My wife was scared to go back to Dr. Tammy s office after her dod died so we tried to go to the Dunnellon Animal Clinic and they care only about money and business. She decided to go back to the Plantation Animal Clinic and they give us a Puppy pack to try different products and foods. 100% trustworthy.

As we have lived all over the country, we have had many vets for our pets. Dr. Tammy is by far the best vet we have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and caring. When we had a life threatening emergency, Dr. Tammy and her staff quickly provided our puppy with appropriate emergency care. Because of them our dog is healthy and happy and home with us today. All of the local physicians bring their pets to her, as she is by far the best around! Her fees are fair and affordable and make it easy to seek medical care for our animals. We would highly recommend her and her fantastic staff to all of our friends and family!

I never thought I would write a review on a Veterinarian, I am not one to write reviews. Upon finding these reviews I have to agree! I have had "many" pets over the years and had to use quite a few different Vets. Dr. Tammy is the best! If there is an emergency on the weekend, she will open her office and take care of things and she is "very" fair at pricing. In a nut shell, Dr. Tammy is knowelgeable, caring and reasonable with a wonderful staff and office.

we are from out of state and a friend recommended Plantation for our dog and are we ever happy we took their advice ! we have used a couple other vets in the area but were never quite happy with them, just felt like another $$ source. everyone at the Crystal River Plantation clinic are caring and very professional . we will definately return to them in the fall when we return for the winter. THANK YOU all for all the good things you do !!

My mother uses them and after her most recent experience, I cant help but praise this establishment. They went above and beyond with my moms recent loss of a cat. The vet made her self accessible outside of business hours, constantly checked in on my mom and has already reached out afterwards. Thanks for making such a difficult time in a persons life a little bit better.

Both of my dogs, Teddy and Ivan are patients here. Both have alot of medical problems and Dr. Tammy is very patient, kind and treats you like a real person. Her prices are very reasonable and Im very happy with the level of care both of my dogs receive here. I have referred many people I know to Dr. Tammy, shes an awesome person.

Love these veterinarians. They treat my animals like family. Dr. Nancy even gave me her private # to call when my cat came home after surgery in case I had any problems and called me daily for follow up for a few days. Dr. Tammy is also just as caring.

Best vet ever! They got our acid reflux labradoodle all fixed so hes a normal pup. The shampoo/cream they suggested just got our havanese calmed down after a bout of allergies. Blessed to have you as our vets!
