DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE! Worst experience of my life! I brought my dog Max to Dr Lampru because he started displaying problems chewing his food, this turned into not eating which caused him to lose weight drastically. We were referred to her because of holistic approach and her openness to try alternative therapies. She did an evaluation and some blood work, and prescribed a series of enzymes and dietary changes, ignoring that the problem was that he could not chew, we told her that we had found a lump in his mouth and thought that might be the problem, but she dismissed it. We called almost everyday to tell her that he was simply not eating so that the supplements were not going into his system. We brought Max to her for a follow up, the following week and he had lost even more weight. At that time she diagnosed him as having cancer and that the mass in his mouth had to be removed, but that she was booked until the following week and that she only did surgeries on Thursday, so we would have to wait. When we returned Max had lost even more weight, at this point my 69lbs dog was at 39lbs!! She then said that she would not operate because he was too weak and that from her experience and I quote I can tell that the cancer has spread and is taking over his body therefore the only thing I can suggest is that we put him to sleep. She was cold and zero bed side manor. She GAVE UP without ever really trying. She said that he would not live past the weekend. I said no and that I would take him home. She injected him with a narcotic pain killer and sent him home with us. The pain killer on an empty stomach caused internal bleeding in the upper GI tract. I took Max to another vet and then another we got 2nd n 3rd opinions which concluded that Max did not have cancer and therefore had not spread, he had a abscess that was infected and causing pain therefore he did not want to eat. They prescribed antibiotics and a mild pain killers and when the swelling and infection were gone they removed the lump. He his happy and gaining weight. SHE DIAGNOSED MY DOG WITH CANCER WITHOUT EVER TAKING AN X-RAY, BIOPSY, OR SCAN. Imagine a doctor tell you, you have cancer just by looking at you. She gave my dog a life sentence, I am glad I didnt take her advice. I am outraged and hope you will never have to go through what we went through. Max is my best friend and companion, I know that one day he will not be with us, but it was not his time. I wonder how many people have lost their companion because of her malpractice. ** After this experience I did further research on line and found similar stories, PLEASE do the same.

Dr Lampru was very good with my dog. He had hind leg weakness and trouble walking. He was a much older dog but I wanted to give him the best quality of life I could. He had several acupuncture sessions with Dr Lampru. I was naturally skeptical before but it was working and I saw marked improvement. I was very happy for him and couldnt wait to see him continually improve with his walking. Unfortunately, my dog passed away. The positive I can take from this is he knew that she was helping him feel better and it did improve his quality of life till the end. I only wish I wouldve taken him to see her sooner.

I just moved from Colorado and started a new job. I was trying to get my dog into a holistic vet because of issues he is having on his transition to FL. They have Sat spots only for current patients. I asked them to make an exception because I dont have any vacation time for the first 60 days at my new employer. They said no! Either you have spots available on Saturday or not!! I happen to spend a lot of money on my dog and this was really stupid on their part not to accommodate me. I find that customer service here compared to CO is awful.

Dr. Lampru was one of the only vets I could find that was accepting of my choice to feed our dog a raw diet. Someone once said that the sign of a good doctor should be how many patients they can get OFF medications, not how many patients they put ON medications. Dr. Lampru seems to take that approach and will use natural treatments when they can be helpful with modern medicine. I really appreciate her and her staff educating me on so many natural supplements that is currently helping my dog while she is being treated for cancer.

I had a wonderful experience here. Not only weer they very friendly and helpful, but for the first time ever going to a veterinarian, I was not urged to get vaccines and tests that were not necessary. My bill was half of what i expected which means i will be able to come more often. I will be referring my friends and clients here.

I do so apologize for the review I left earlier. It was for the wrong animal hospital. I have no experience with Animal Alternatives Holistic Health Care.

We had a wonderful experience with Dr Lampru. Our dachshund did not have to have surgery because of the treatments she received.
