This clinic offers professional services with a great and educated staff. The technology there is cutting edge with trained vets and vet techs. All my pets have been treated there for various emergencies that come with being a pet owner - allergic reactions, getting to something they werent supposed to, etc. I am glad that they are there when I need them! The staff is personable, Ive never encountered a hateful employee and they all care about animals, its very obvious from when you go in - Who else would devote their nights and weekends to helping animals? The vets and vet techs are very knowledgeable and helpful. I felt very confident in the care my pets were receiving. For the other non-helpful reviews that feel the emergency clinic is horrible perhaps you shouldnt let the totality of your pets vet care rely on a mobile pet clinic that was sitting in a Bilo parking lot. Dont let your pet vomit for a week. And dont get mad when your really sick pet has to visit an emergency clinic as a last resort and now youre going to have to pay money to fix a disaster that progressed by waiting so long and cutting corners on vet care - and especially then, dont write a review on google please! Reviews are to rate/talk about the quality of service that was provided, not to rant about having to pay money for a professional service! And try to understand the nature of their business. Its a hospital in an emergency setting for animals. There are needles and sick patients and drugs and treatments happening and many other things around, so of course its a liability risk that you cannot stay with your animal. There are many patients that the vets are responsible for so dont be upset that you may have to communicate with the nurses that are caring for your pet too. And they do not do rechecks and follow-ups because those are for your regular vet, youre expected to do the same when discharged from an emergency room with your family doctor. I respect and admire what the staff there has to do and what they have to offer us. This is a great emergency clinic! These guys truly are the best - Professional atmosphere with competent and compassionate staff.

Rude staff. They were going to admit my cat overnight because she was dehydrated and throwing up for 3 days repeatedly, but once they found I couldnt pay them with anything but a post dated check for the same week because I got paid on Friday (it was a Monday night) they made me call my mom and friends for 1/3 of the bill up front. Then after a friend agreed to pay the money to get her admitted, they decided that they would not keep her overnight and they turned us away with nothing but a script for amoxicillan. Next day, my cat went into ketosis and was unresponsive and almost died. Oh, and now I owe my friend $170 for NOTHING. These people do not care about animals at all. They care about money and thats it. Thank goodness I went somewhere else. They actually did an examination and found that she had a piece of dental floss or string under her tongue which probably led all the way down her digestive track. They are keeping her overnight and doing a barium xray to find out if it will be able to pass or if surgery will be involved. She didnt need an antibiotic in the first place, first and foremost she needed people who cared and an IV full of fluid and medication to stop the stomach spasms. The people at the Animal Emergency Clinic are rude and dont know wtf they are doing and just want money. I was so insulted by their behavior and phrases like "this is not a charity". I DIDNT ASK FOR IT TO BE FREE, I ASKED IF I COULD POST DATE A CHECK FOR FRIDAY. I DONT THINK THE CAT WILL LIVE UNTIL I GET PAID AND SHE NEEDS IMMEDIATE EMERGENCY HELP.....DUH! They didnt care. Oh and besides a wrong diagnosis, they double charged my friends debit card which caused her bank to overdraft and checks to bounce with multiple fees. THEY HAD BETTER PAY HER FOR THIS. CROOKS! They didnt want to help me or my furbaby. I will never go there again. I wouldnt send my worst enemy there to treat their pets in an emergency.

Word to the wise: BE CAREFUL HERE! They will screw you over if it means they dont have to do anything. I took my year old cat there on a Friday night after he was having trouble peeing. We waited for a long time but after seeing the vet he was able to use the bathroom and we were given some wet food to prevent further blockage problems later. The next night he started having trouble again so we packed him up and got to the clinic at about 9. We didnt leave until almost 3 in the morning and we never even saw a vet. My poor cat had to sit in a carrier for 5 hours and no one even took him out! The vet tech kept telling us that they were busy (there was a family there waiting on a dog to come out of surgery) and I can understand that but the vet wasnt the problem the tech was. When the family got their dog the tech came out and questioned us AGAIN about why we were there. After hearing our story she walked to the back and came back with some medicine and told us to give it to him and we could go home. IF THATS ALL WE NEEDED WHY DIDNT YOU GIVE US THE MEDS AT 9?! The medicine did help but I took my cat into our regular vet first thing Monday morning to make sure he was ok and to get him switched over to the urinary food they mentioned. My vet came in and was reading over our notes from the clinic and asked why did I bring my cat in Saturday night if I didnt want to see a vet? I was reasonably confused and after looking over the notes my self the vet tech put "REFUSED TO SEE VET WHEN OFFERED, NUMEROUS TIMES". I was furious! WHY ON EARTH WOULD I SIT IN A WAITING ROOM WITH MY SICK CAT FOR FIVE HOURS AND REFUSE TO SEE A VET?! Turns out the vet tech only did this so she could go home early. While I understand he might not have seemed in desperate need of medical attention any urinary blockage in a male cat IS VERY DANGEROUS! It is entirely possible his bladder could have burst and he could have died.

They cared when no one else did. It was after hours and my trucker husband and I had a sick kitten in the semi on the road. We were on the wrong side of payday and didnt have much more cash than required to feed us and him. No emergency clinic that was open after hours would take a payment plan, and we grew increasingly concerned. We got the most consideration from Animal Emergency Clinic and gave them another call, saying how desperate we were. They agreed to at least look him over and see how much danger he was in and go from there. Finally, hope! At the clinic, they determined that the cause of the issue had to do with nutrition due to negligence of a pet sitter who watched him and his siblings, who were smaller and didnt require as much food, and so were fine, while the kitten we took with us to supervise, Aegon, was the largest, and is growing so fast (about two pounds per month) that good nutrition is vital. Being in the truck most likely exacerbated the problem. Chase, the tech we saw, was excellent. He had great petside, a word I just made up, manner, was very professional, and he was very kind to our kitten. He reassured us and saw to it we got prescription food to help kick start our kittens nutrition. Its obvious he and the rest of the staff genuinely care about animals. None of this cost us a dime. The building itself was nicely decorated and everything was very clean and nice. All of the staff was polite and professional. I feel so much better about my kitten and they gave us firm insight into what the problem was. My husband, my beautiful flamepoint boy, and I are all eternally grateful and will always remember the kindness this emergency vet clinic showed us. . . and also Chases bada** Littmann stethescope, haha.
