Just got back from yet another horrible experience at the humanitarians of Florida in Lecanto. Each and every last staff member was, and always is, extremely rude. They have gotten into a horrible habit of up charging every single visit on even the smallest things. They claim to be a discount veterinarian facility and like the saying goes you get what you pay for. But now, with all of the incessant up charging, you really arent getting what you pay for. Please take my advice and go to your trusted, professional, Family Veterinarian.

The people here are wonderful! I came in with my cat who was exhibiting breathing problems and congestion. He was seen right away and Dr. Riley was very thorough in explaining the x-ray results and his diagnosis which thankfully was just a minor bacterial infection. Your services and prices are great, and all the employees are very nice and compassionate...I would highly recommend them!

Thank you!!! I cannot say enough good things about the staff here. All of them were the nicest....most patient...most understanding veterinary staff that I have ever met. They were so so sweet to my ailing 13 year old husky. I wouldnt consider going anywhere else in Citrus County.

They were unable to hold my dog which by the way is a chihuahua they hurt her and cost her muzzle to swell because they put something on her mouth too tight imagine they dont know how to handle a small dog

They did a fast a wonderful job on neutering my cat. Very friendly staff except for Lindsay at the front. She looked a little annoyed to answer your questions. All together very pleased.

Great place to get vaccinations and pet care products (flea, heartworm etc) Low cost exams as well as spay and neuter clinic.
