The staff here is friendly, but they are very dishonest. If you want nice people to lie to you for monetary purposes, go here. I came here for a cleaning last year and they told me I had severe gum disease and needed an 800 dollar treatment (I am 30 years old, brush, floss and use both an antiseptic at night and anti plaque in the morning, AND use a waterpik). I paid for the treatment and scheduled the "STM II" appointment. Two weeks later I was at my sons pediatric dentist and mentioned needing this treatment and they informed me that I definitely do not need that, his DDS looked into my mouth and said I show no signs visibly indicating I would need any treatment of that extent. She said when flossing and brushing I would be bleeding like crazy and my gums dont even bleed! So now I had two different opinions, I cancelled the appointment at Palacin and did some research. It didnt add up. I went in august 2015 to a NEW dentist and was told I had one surface cavity but my teeth and gums were in great condition. I asked if I needed deep cleaning and she said no, that is for severe cases. This office stopped taking my insurance and so I decided to try Palacin again. I went to my appointment last week and specifically told them I wanted my 100% insurance covered cleaning and exam, and nothing additional". They fought with me over this and asked me to sign a waiver stating I am aware I have severe gum disease and are refusing treatment. They never brought out the actual waiver, and told me to just go wait in the chair and they will do a basic cleaning with irrigation. I then told them I do not need irrigation, I just want the cleaning (Irrigation is 50 bucks, not bad but not needed if they look in your mouth FIRST to decide - which they didnt do, they decided this at the front desk). How do you know I need irrigation without looking at my mouth? After arguing and smiling and nodding at the staff every time they mentioned I needed to buy something additional, I got through my cleaning. If you are willing to go in there and tell them "This is what I need. Do NOT do anything additional" and stick to that, then this is the place for you - if youre easily taken advantage of, please go somewhere where they will be more honest. Read the other reviews, take them all into consideration.. I should have.

I went today May 8th 2017 to Palacin Dental Group. From the moment I step in I was warmly welcome by the staff. Once inside, I was explained in detailed what the doctors needed to do. First it was to do my exam and x-rays. The dentist who did it (Carolina) was very good. After the x-rays were ready she was very kind and explained to me that Dr. Palacin needed to review them first and then talk to me. When Dr. Palacin reviewed the exams she explained what I needed to do and with no preassure she proceeded to indicate to me the ways she would do my dental work. Then Mrs Hilda came abd explained the plan and costs in both a very proffessional and human way. The honesty of all the staff was enough to convince ne they truly care, so I proceeded to agree with the plan and even do my deep cleaning right then and there. I need to go back tomorrow to start my dental work. This team is really a very proffessional and very caring one. Definetively 5 stars above and beyond without a doubt.

************SANTIAGO RIOS************ Today I went to go get my cleaning, and they also took a couple of detailed mouth scans, to make sure everything was in its place. The employees are just wonderful! I give a 10/10 for their service, and for the way they greet their customers, as soon as you walk in. Unlike my old dental care, this dentist will explain exactly what they will do next, so that you understand everything, without having to be the dentist yourself. They also have entertainment for you, meanwhile you get attended, such as Netflix, Spotify, TV, etc! I highly recommend this dental care service. They definitely know what is best for your teeth, and will give you a great smile.

The dental hygienist recommended that I have a deep cleaning which is not covered by insurance and costs $641. I refused based on my medical history and what my orthopedic said about a deep cleaning. This office would not do a regular cleaning which was covered by my dental insurance because of the dental hygienist recommendation. I did not elect to have the deep cleaning and got a second opinion. The second dentist laughed as he examined my teeth and gums and said a deep cleaning was not necessary and cleaned my teeth the regular way. I would not trust this office and will never use them again.

Office and staff were very friendly. However, my first visit after changing insurance and dentists, I went to palacin and was told I had 8 cavities after not having 1 for years and years and going to the dentist regularly. I went ahead and had the fillings but they were definitely done poorly. I can feel the different between where the fillings are and where my real tooth is because they are not smooth. There are also jagged parts that never fail to rip my floss. Going somewhere else next time.

I had a really great experience at Palacin ! I went in for a cleaning and to get my wisdom tooth extracted. My hygienist was Carolina and she was phenomenal! The sweetest, had a dental touch and reassured me I had nothing to worry about. The cleaning was excellent and I barely felt my wisdom tooth come out. The dentist was just awesome. No pain! I was shocked. None the less, it was overall a great experience and I recommend anyone if they need dental treatment!

Stay away from them. Rude and only after money. Made me wait for an hour to talk to the manager as I wanted to discuss the rates. The fornt office made me wait - after the hour long wait the office manager would not show up. All they want is money. Dont listen to the patients and keeps ranting only their point of view. I said I would prefer talking to the doctor, but she wouldnt allow. The office manager says we dont want patients like you. So rude.

Very nice people, but incredibly dishonest. I went in knowing that I was going to need heavy work as I have not been at the dentist for at least 4 years due to insurance purposes. Anyway, I go in and I tell them I have tooth pain and she just looks at that one tooth and tells me I need a root canal. She didnt even bother looking at other teeth. Then they hassle me about a credit program in order to pay for it. Screw these people.

I highly recommend Palacin dental. They have a super professional and friendly staff ( and owner) that makes you feel right at home. They have always taken care of my dental needs (teeth cleaning, x-rays, cavities filled) with patience, gentleness, and amiability. They have been my dentistry now for the last few years and I cant see myself going anywhere else.

Very rude and disrespectfull doctor and staff seems like all they care about is your money they were telling my wife that her wisdom tooth had decay after she told them she had it pulled a week ago she was in there to get a filling on her front tooth they were insisting they need to pull her tooth that had already been pulled
