By FAR the most qualified veterinarian in the area. Having read the posts above I was skeptical of the Trauma center, however when I went in with my Golden who had been seen by THREE other veterinarians, Dr. Stone was able to diagnose Einstein with bladder stones almost immediately, it was incredible! Not only was Dr. Stone the only qualified veterinarian in the area who had the equipment and skills to even diagnose my pup, but he was the only guy for miles who could even do the surgery! This dog has been by my side for years and i dont know what would have happen to my friend if I hadnt found Dr. Stone when I did, Einstein had been so miserable for so long. He saved my dog, and I have been bringing him my other pets ever since. I want to address the two "poor" comments above me, as i know they certainly scared me. I can say with absolute certainty that Dr. Stone is MORE than fair and justified in his prices. For the skill level at which he practices, I am surprised he doesnt charge more. There is a difference between "expensive" and "costly". Yes, some of the fees that can accrue from vet bills can add up to a lot, but when you look at how much work the man is putting into saving your pets life, and how many resources it takes, I would urge anyone reading this to think about that. When I made a comment about his prices, Dr. Stone used the example of paying a buck for a burger at McDonalds and maybe 100 for a luxury dining experience at a 4 star restaurant. You get what you pay for. If youve been paying peanuts to try and fix your pet and its not working, well maybe theres a reason that veterinarian doesnt charge very much. I do have to agree that Doc does talk a bit, but I have never in my life seen anyone with such compassion and love for animals, and I know for a fact (having been to the Trauma center for countless visits) that theres a difference between "slamming" a dog onto a table, and firmly holding it down for the protection of the vet techs and the pet itself. And might I add, as an attorney thats been in practice for close to twenty years, I personally would not ever lend my services to anyone who stiffed me on a bill before. Also did a little investigating, turns out the local Veterinarians own shares of the Leesburg Emergency Clinic, so if you ever wonder why your primary veterinarian wont refer to Dr. Stone for an emergency or upper level procedure, dont you think for a minute it has anything to do with his qualifications.

Think hes losing his mind. Ive given this vet thousands of dollars over the years. Many spays, many neuters, minor surgeries. When I brought in my oldest and dearest dog telling him she had bloody stool, he wanted to run close to $900 worth of tests. I did not have $900 and asked if we could do something about the diarrhea in the meantime...he gave me some pills and charged me close to $400. I called him less than a week later as my wonderful dog was now spewing blood and I was crying. He wouldnt see me unless I gave him $900 that day! I told him I didnt have it that day and would get it to him the following week...but PLEASE help her. NO. Said hed been burned before and wouldnt do it. Ive never burned the man but Id like to do so now. What a disgusting excuse for a human being. Found another doctor and my best buddy and I are doing fine. Avoid this idiot.

WOW! This is the place! We had been taking our (very loved and adored) dog to another veterinary practice in the area for years, but recently we were floored by a very high-priced quote for canine dental work. We contacted Dr. Stone to set up a second opinion visit, to which he was very accommodating and helpful; and we found that our needs in this situation did not necessarily warrant all the procedures that our previous veterinary practice wanted to perform. That being said, Dr. Stone was able to perform the necessary treatment, and he didnt break the bank. Our dog, who is normally terrified to visit the vet, actually had a more relaxed demeanor in this facility. Never going back - we have a new vet for life! Thanks Dr. Stone!!!

I have been taking our family pet to the Veterinary Trauma Center for over ten years now. You wont find a finer staff anywhere. Dr. Stone has saved a few of our pets from danger over the years and I personally recommend him to everyone that has a pet dog or cat. He is on call anytime day or night which is how we found him to begin with. When our dog got hit by a passing truck at night our regular vets office was closed so we call the number on the VTC website and Dr. Stone came right in and met us at his office. Im sure that he is the reason that our dog is still alive today. I cant thank him enough for what he has done over the years.

Took my cat in on Christmas morning, vet said hed keep her overnight and bathe her because of a toxin poisoning. Didnt bathe her. Claimed she was stable the next day and that she was walking. I went to pick her up and she was not walking. He told me to bathe her since he hadnt. So I did. Turns out her condition wasnt stable, and she died from a seizure after being carefully bathed. I do understand that a veterinarian can make mistakes, but lying is completely unacceptable. Thanks for causing me to lose my best friend. Great Christmas present. Loved it.

I just wanted to say thank you to Dr. Stone for coming in to take care of our tiny dog after she was hit by a car at 3AM. When we called I could tell that I woke him but he was very pleasant on the phone and came immediately to meet us. You can tell by the way he handles pets that he is a real animal lover. Thanks to his fast action he was able to save our tiny dog MooMoo and she is getting around just fine after the surgery. If you need any type of care or treatment for your pet I highly recommend Dr. Stone and the Veterinary Trauma Center.

The VTC is the best place that you could take your pet. When our puppy got mauled by a pitbull early one Sunday morning I thought that it wouldnt make it. We tried to call our regular Vet but they were closed. We found the Veterinary Trauma Center website and gave them a call. Dr. Stone came in on a Sunday to see us and covered everything in detail that needed to be done. That puppy is just fine now and will have a long and healthy life thanks to Dr. Stone and the staff at the Veterinary Trauma Center.

they are out of their minds talking about too much, Im a medically retired Army Vet and this is crazy that these people wont work with payments on an emergency situation, I will diffidently let my fellow Vets know this is not the place for them. I have never been so disappointed by someone when it matters and also when I called the woman was very rude. Leesburg helped me out and will always trust them for great services to my animal.
