The Strange News
I thank our Heavenly Father for Doctor Clark and his team of professionals and support staff of The Clark Clinic. In 2007 it was discovered my brothers pancreas had died and was turning cancerous. To save his life, doctors removed his pancreas, spleen, gallbladder and half his intestines. In January 2014 my brother lapsed into a diabetic coma. Paramedics were able to keep him alive until he reached the hospital in which he stayed on a respirator and life-support for seven days with no brain activity. When he finally awoke from this diabetic coma. He had suffered a stroke in which scrambled his speech and slowed his thinking ability. In September 2014 he arrived here in Florida. As soon as the state of Georgia discovered he was in a hospital here in Florida, they cut off all financial aid, which left him without food stamps and Medicaid and to add insult to injury began charging him $104 a month for his part B Medicare. My brother is not just a diabetic, He is totally insulin dependent and also requires the pancreatic enzyme supplements to be able to digest any food whatsoever. He weighed in at 95 pounds at 6 foot tall. With no financial aid from the state. My brother was in such bad shape that the hospital would not release him, but sent him to the rehab center at the North campus of LRMC, where he was first treated by Doctor Clark. In 10 days my brother was strong enough to return home. Doctor Clark sent him home with $2000 worth of insulin and enough diabetic test strips, as hypodermic needles and other medications to hold them over until benefits from the state of Florida began January 1. If it had not been for the mercy and the kindness from Doctor Clark and his team of professionals and support staff of the Clark clinic. I dont really think my brother would have made it. I would also like to thank Doctor Sarah Yong for his follow-up care and continued treatment. This is not only my review, but my testimony before God. Thank you all for the unconditional love you all have passed on.

Rude and unprofessional doesnt even begin to describe this place! Took my grandmother here as a new patient and waited over an hour to be seen. Went back for lab work so that the Dr would refill her thyroid and BP medicine (he required labs be done before refilling even though they are not narcotics or addictive drugs and shes been on them for years) waited over 45 mins for labs. Upon checking out I asked if they could give her a prescription for enough of her medicine to get her through until she came back for her follow up from the lab work and the lady at the front desk said that was fine and she said she put the order in. I went the next day to pick up her medicine and it hasnt been called in. I called the office and spoke with the office manager Janean at 1:00 and she promised she would get the order to the nurse right away to call in. I went back to walmart at 4:00 and still no prescription! It took me 30 minutes of calling continuously to get someone else to answer the phone and then I spoke with Christine and she was so rude and acted like me being upset was just absurd. She then told me she was putting the prescription through herself as I spoke to her. I got off the phone with her and called walmart 15 mins later and they still had not called it in. I tried calling the office back and no-one would answer and then they closed at 5. So my grandmother was without medication for the entire weekend causing her blood pressure to go up so high that I had to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital. All because irresponsible lazy staff wouldnt do their job and call in a prescription. Im seeking legal counsel to have The Clark Clinic responsible for the cost of the ambulance and ER visit as she would not have had to go if they would have called in her blood pressure medicine.

I have been going to this doctors office for about a year now, I visited with Dr. Youssef for the first time and he was the rudest doctor I have ever encountered and after a 3 and a half hour wait he did not even help me. Instead he asked me insulting questions like "Why do you have an anxiety disorder" when I was there asking for an antibiotic for two very bad cracked teeth. He also made me take my phone out to look for my new Psychiatrists name and would not believe me that I did not have the name yet. I have not seen this doctor yet, I have an appt. but was not told the doctors name. How would I know? He made me feel stupid and inferior with questions like "How do you not know your own doctors name?" I feel I was judged before he even spoke to me based on my past. You would think a Doctor would have the intellect not to ask someone why they have a disorder they cannot control AND had nothing to do with my visit there that day. Granted, yes I know he is not a dentist which he repeatedly told me but I have never had a doctor look at really painful cracked teeth and turn me away without an antibiotic or any help whatsoever. Very rude, very rushed, no help at all...I wish I could get my money back for waiting 3 and 1/2 hours and getting no help. Money is tight, a dentist immediately is not a luxury everyone can afford. Get this Dr. out of there, I usually like coming to The Clark Clinic but they have now lost a patient and I am spreading the word to everyone I know and work with.

This is the worst place to visit! I paid to see a doctor. I was given a NP who didn listen to my problems, kept pushing pain pills on me and then insulted me by telling me that she needed to find a pill to give me anorexia to help with my weight. I had my thyroid tested and after fighting with them for a month, I finally got them to tell me the results were all in normal range. Upon a second opinion I learned my thyroid was hardly functioning at all. They did the same thing with lab results to my mother as well. It took her 3 MONTHS for her results and they werent even accurate. They are rude, unprofessional and will not do anything to help. They wont even listen to your health issues. If you need a clinic, please go elsewhere, where you may actually get the help you sought out.

I have not been a patient of the clinic, but I work in another doctors office and any time we hear "The Clark Clinic" we cringe... trying to get help from their office for authorizations and return calls is nearly impossible. This directly affects patient care due to the huge delay in return of information. Their fax is constantly busy and we always get voicemail. I have heard wonderful things about the doctors and its always followed with "but the front office is bad, rude, too busy, long waits" etc, etc.. They should really consider hiring more help to answer phones and facilitate timely return of records and authorizations.

I have been going to the Clark clinic for almost a year. They staff are Awesome treat you with respect. I see Dr Elchelbaum she is one of the nicest doctor I have seen in years. And I have never waited over 20 mins before I was called back to a room. By far this is one of the doctors doctor office I would highly recommend. Not sure why people want to down them cause I have never seen any disrespect or anything negative in the office so you go in with a good attitude and respect them I know you would be treated the sane. To the staff at Clark clinic thank you for all you do.
