I couldnt praise Dr. Favale and his staff enough! For the last three years my contacts have been randomly bothering my eyes. Every other eye doctor seemed to just point to seasonal allergies as the culprit. I knew it wasnt seasonal allergies. After a quick eye exam, Dr. Favale knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. It turned out that after 15 years, I had developed an allergy to my CONTACTS. As a result, I had microscopic bumps on the inside of my eye lids pulling my contacts out of place numerous times a day. I needed to wear my glasses for six weeks which of course werent the correct prescription. Dr. Favale and his staff were able to quickly get new lenses for my glasses and eye drops to help with the eye irritation. I have been wearing glasses/contacts since I was 12, and this was by far the best eye exam I have ever had. Excellent service! I highly recommend the services this practice offers!

I had been referred here by others I know. I willingly went as they spoke very highly of Dr. Favale. I have to say I am more than glad I heeded their advice. First, there was virtually no wait. Second, this was the most comprehensive eye exam I have received in my life. Dr. Favale did a wonderful job, informing me along the way whether things look excellent or describing each portion of the exam before performing it. I am one to really appreciate that kind of doctor. He was honest; I asked questions & he directly answered them. He certainly treated me like a person & not a dollar sign. I couldnt be happier with the whole experience. And might I say, I am writing this in my new glasses that were ready today (less than a week after my visit) and I am smiling. Thank you, Dr. Favale & Frankie (you were very helpful during my selection process) & the staff. You all were welcoming & friendly.

My daughter recommended me to Drs. Akel and Favale. The entire experience was positive and affirming. I had no trouble making a convenient appointment and was pleased I could come early in the morning, which is more convenient for me. The waiting room is large, comfortable, and extremely clean and inviting. The staff was efficient and welcoming. Each procedure was explained to me. Dr. Favale gave me excellent care and advice about eye care. Frank was patient and pleasant as he helped me choose new frames and even replaced the nose pieces on my old frames, so they would be more comfortable. My glasses were exactly what I wanted and affordable as well. They came back to the office quickly and picking them up was a breeze. I highly recommend this eye care center. A stellar experience from beginning to end.

My previous family eye doctor back in TX was amazing. Everyone in the office was nice and Ive been going there for so long they were like friends. I was worried that I wouldnt find something like that in JAX. Although it was months ago when I had my first appointment at Dr. Akel and Favale, I still remember that my experience was very similar to what I had back home. The staff was nice and Dr. Favale was great. Ive been having problems with my old prescription and the new prescription he gave me was perfect. Frank, the optician, helped me look for glasses. I didnt find glasses with the color I liked so he ordered some for me. Unfortunately, I ended up getting glasses somewhere else but I still liked my overall experience. The new prescription was helpful and reduced my headaches.

I was impressed--they took me the instant I walked in for my appointment! Everyone is very friendly. The equipment is all really clean, which I liked, because the last place I went, the rubber stuff they put right on your face smelled like Other Peoples bad breath and greasy hair. Doctor Favale was really nice, and even asked me questions about the rest of my health. I am really bad at picking out frames, but they picked out a bunch of pairs for me to try, and I actually found a pair I think I look good in! I went to one of those quickie places before, but this place was just as fast. Maybe faster. I definitely recommend.

My entire family has been a patient of this practice since Dr. Akel first opened his door. Cannot remember the year but suffice to say that it has been 30 years! Have always received high quality care every time. Always personable and prompt every time. Dr. Favale takes care of my granddaughter and is so good with the teen . Love their openness with your eye care and can provide current information to your questions and concerns. Family history is also important to them in providing good eye care. Even though I now live 5 hours away, I still continue to use this practice when in Jacksonville.

I have been a patient of Drs. Akel and Favale for 25 years. From the moment you walk into the office for your appointment you are welcomed with smiling faces. The front office staff are prompt in getting you checked in. Dr. Favale treats you as if you are family. He is very informative and shares information as he finds it. He is eager to answer any questions you may have and will take his time answering them. He does not leave you to head to another patient until he has completely finished and answered all questions. I sincerely recommend this Jacksonville Eye Care Center!

I have free eye care with my current healthcare provider but chose to go here because they were so highly recommened. The service was fantastic! I initially went get be fitted for contacts but ended up requesting a full exam. My current prescription was incorrect and Dr. Favale zeroed in on my exact prescription. I havent seen this well in YEARS! Their service was the best Ive ever received and I have recommended them to everyone. This is one of those sweet gems of a place that is becoming extremely difficult to find these days. Go and you wont be dissappointed.

Dr. Anthony Favale is a fantastic optometrist. I am currently completing my education to become an optometrist and have been mentored by Dr. Favale for a couple of years. Having watched him conduct appointments and been taught several methods by him in depth, I can without hesitation recommend any person to try Dr. Favale as your optometrist. He is quick, efficient and most of all accurate. It is his goal to maximize your vision as well as take care of your overall ocular health. If you are looking for an optometrist in the Jacksonville area, this is your man.

Dr. Favale is the best! This office is well organized, very professional and the staff are super friendly and helpful! Its a pleasure going to an office where everyone truly cares! Ive been wearing contacts and having regular eye exams for over 20 years and have been to a few different eye doctors. Dr. Favale is the most thorough clinician I have found and has taken excellent care of my eyes! I have been Dr. Favales patient for over 5 years, my family receives their eye care from him, and I highly recommend this office to anyone needing great vision care!
