One star to a Four star... The Dr called me after another off putting call with Sheri. I can say his customer service is above par to the rest of the office, they should try to follow his lead. He listened, cared, and understood the issue and made it right! I really appreciated him reaching out to me at 8:30am. He really made me feel cared for and understood. What was more upsetting then the over charge was how Sheri and the rest of the office handled it with zero concern, empathy, care, they honesty lacked any gumption to want to make it right or at least make me feel like they wanted to make it right. I hope that the staff doesnt continue to ruin this offices reputation with experiences like this, as the Doctor seemed quite talented and caring. Still undecided if I will make it for a 2nd visit here. (Update from last post whom I thought was the Office Manager was actually just the Receptionist. I believe that she and Sheri might be better off working with animals then people :) ) --------- ------- ------- I was accidentally over charged by hundreds of dollars, not given a receipt and sent on my way all the while they new there was an error on their end when they processed my payment! VERY SNEAKY, instead of advising me of the over charge at the time by pulling me to the side and letting me know that they drained all the money out of my bank account and I will see the pending charge in my account.. They instead just tried to cancel it on there end. Maybe hoping I wouldnt notice? This was the Office Manager who made the error, if they cant be forthcoming about a billing error how forthcoming are the about your pets care? After I was home and their office was closed I realized I didnt get a receipt so I checked my bank account to see their transaction had taken ALL the funds out of my checking account! There was no one to call as it was Friday after 6pm and they are closed. My only option is to call the next morning a Saturday at 7:30 am. I reached out to them only to get tons of ATTITUDE from Sheri, as if I was an inconvenience to her by calling about the overcharge. Ten minutes into the call it was uncovered that she was under the impression I was told what happened at the time and that I was just calling to be mad at her?? No, I was calling for just an explanation as I hadnt spoken to anyone from their office about this!? Even after that realization Sheri was extremely rude wouldnt even let me finish a sentence and kept interrupting me saying that "she doesnt know anything and she doesnt know what to do. Does not know when/how/if I will get my funds back... that the office Manager knew what happened at the time and that she has no idea why she didnt let me know I was way overcharged". I can appreciate and understand that Sheri didnt know anything about this however she could have just offered, an explanation of how this happened, been somewhat apologetic she had absolutely zero empathy and was a brute if not a bully about the situation. I wonder if she has the same care for pets as she does people? After 15 minutes of being put on hold, interrupted, over talked, not cared for Sheri hung the phone up on me and telling me the Dr would be in at 9. I will update this review depending on how the Dr handles this and gets my funds back to me. As of right now I (and Sheri) apparently have no idea still if/when/or how I will be paid back. Awful 1st time experience here that is for sure.

I have been taking two dogs and one cat to San Jose Beauclerc. The front desk staff was nice and the vets were fine. But after a few recent outrageous bills, I have decided to leave. I took my cat in for an exam because he had fleas. $57 for the exam (on a cat!). $173 for a full panel of bloodwork! What?! And $63 for some antibiotic injection. At no time during the $57 visit did the vet mention the hefty costs associated with any of what she was recommending. Same thing has happened in the past with my dogs. Its borderline unethical. The front desk then does not show you the itemized receipt until after youve paid, so its always a surprise. I have also tried to order medications from 1-800-petmeds and after they sit on the rx request for days and days, they call you and try to dissuade you from using the service. Unacceptable. Unless you feel up for being taken advantage of financially every time your pet has a visit, steer clear.

Im from NH down in FL for the winter. My dog gets massive ear infections. Thank goodness for this office. The front office staff are wonderful, the Vets are the best and for the lady that was complaining about the fees, shoot honey you dont know how good youve got it. I would have paid $178 just to walk into my vet in NH. Here, I paid $195 for exam, cystology, and medication, and $58 for a follow up a week later. Then he ripped of a toenail off. The dr. had to knock him out to cauterize the nail bed, and the whole thing only cost a little over $225.00. In NH it would have been well over $500. So yes a well deserved 5 star rating not just for price, but for great people and puppy skills. Love this place.

Our pets mean everything in the world to us, and we trust these folks. They are available when we need them, they know their stuff, they are friendly to deal with, and the prices are reasonable. After going there a few years weve come to know the vets and staff and they know us. They do not push services that are not needed, in fact they look for ways to minimize risk and costs while keeping the pets as healthy as possible. I have to admit, it wasnt until after wed been there a few times that we knew this was the best place for our dogs and for us.

You couldnt ask for more compassionate and professional care for your furry loved ones than what you will find at San Jose Beauclerc. The doctors are well-informed, up-to-date, and have a wonderful bedside manner. The staff is both friendly and efficient. Our family has visited this clinic for more than thirty years now, and we cant imagine going anywhere else. In fact, we drive almost 70 miles round trip each time we go and pass a dozen clinics on the way. Its more than worth those extra miles.

Took my dog in for rabies & 5 in 1 shots and to be de-wormed, paid almost $400 for this. Then when I got my dog home she had a 4" by 2 1/2 abrasion on her neck, apparently from them pulling her head back too much when she was scared. posted tWo photos showing her horrific marks. Not sure why they did not just sedate her or use a harness instead of the very thin collar they put on her when they took her from me and why they hurt our dog. Horrendous care, I certainly cannot recommend.

I have moved to the other side of town but Dr Mac is the best so I drive an hour every few months just to see him. My Chihuahua was diagnosed with a heart murmur and the hospitals near me had me crying thinking she was going to die any day but I brought her to Dr Mac and he explained everything without leaving me a crying mess. She is on meds now and comes in for a checkup every so often and is doing good.
