I brought my puppy there for the first time and everything was okay, my mom spent over $350 buying from their shop and everything. Well the girl at the counter said, you have paid for everything all you need to do is get a sample of my dogs poop to exam for it (gross I know) and she gave us the little bottle. Well I said, I didnt need that because I just got his poop examed for everything. She convinced us saying that it must be done so we said ok. She said all we had to do was bring the poop back in and drop it off. Well a couple days goes by, and we bring it in and dropped it off. Well, I get a call a day later saying we did not pay our fecal exam fee. I said ok well you told us we paid it. We looked on the reciept and it wasnt paid, so I said okay then forget about it I dont want his poop examed anyways and I never did. Well a couple days go by again and they call me up again saying it was never paid and that they analyzed it or whatever and I said I never wanted to pay for that and I didnt even want it done, so the guy said "okay we will take that charge off" and he claimed to have done it. Well this was about a month ago, and we just got another bill PLUS A LATE FEE FOR THE STUPID FECAL EXAM. I told my mom "dont pay this because you were never supposed to be charged". My mom thought she was doing me a favor and two days ago, she paid it. I told her and she told me to call them back so she can get a refund. The guy on the phone said he cant do anything about it and basically I feel they just stole my moms money. They thought we would forget about it and charged us anyways. The girl told my mom also, when she paid it, that "oh Ill take off the late fee and do you a favor". Yeah right, they probably knew we werent supposed to pay for it anyways and same with the guy. Im not going back there anymore because I dont like when employees try to take peoples money and dont know how to do their jobs. it was a great vets office, very nice, but just like some big businesses, they try to get you for as much money as they can, and will lie to get it.

For years, my dog suffered hair loss and itching. His vet insisted it was allergies and we spent thousands of dollars on specialists, testing, diet, shampoos, etc. An equine vet friend suggested that my dog may have Cushings. I mentioned it to my regular vet, who ran a test, which came back negative, and insisted that it was allergies. After some research regarding Cushings and testing, I realized he used the wrong test and didnt administer it properly, yet after pointing it out, not only was I charged, he was contemptuous about my pointing out the correct test! Since I do quite a bit of internet research for a living, I realized it was time to find a new vet! I reviewed other vet clinics in the area and found Harmony. Its a bit of a drive from Stuart, but well worth it. Long story short, Dr. Rogers did a thorough exam. She agreed that my dog showed all the external signs of Cushings. She ran the correct test and yes, my dog was suffering from the disease, which, left untreated, can be fatal. He also had previously undiscovered thyroid issues. Dr. Rogers put him on the correct meds and within a month, his hair grew back and he was a healthy, happy dog. My dog is a frail senior now. Whenever I have a concern, the staff is caring and they take the time to answer questions, no matter how busy they get. More importantly, they can fit us in usually within a day if my dog needs to be seen. If Dr. Rogers isnt available, another vet is able to step in. Dr. Rogers is approachable, friendly, (to me and my dog) and takes time to answer questions thoroughly. We are given various options and outcomes regarding treatment and shes familiar with the latest technologies. Im thrilled that I found a caring, skilled, vet and staff. Otherwise, my dog probably wouldnt be alive today.

We have been clients of Harmony Animal Hospital since 2010. Dr. John Clines has treated both of my Boston Terriers. He and the entire staff at Harmony are always kind, attentive and caring to their patients. My first Boston was elderly and had several health problems. Dr. Clines was always there to advise us on what was best for her. When it appeared it might be time to euthanize her, his compassion, and his staffs compassion, greatly helped us through this difficult time. Now he treats our 3 yr old Boston, who he has treated since the age of 4 months. He recently needed surgery and a veterinary neurologist. His recommendations of specialists were exceptional. We feel secure in knowing that all of our dogs health needs will be handled with knowledge, professionalism, extreme care and love. It is nice to know that if Dr. Clines isnt available, there are two other highly qualified vets to take care of my dogs needs with the same level of care and knowledge. The entire staff is friendly and caring and treats each patient as if it was their own pet. The boarding staff is wonderful and the boarding facilities, which range from cages to private boarding rooms for the timid, run Camp Harmony to make it fun for the campers. I always knew that my elderly Boston would be looked after and properly medicated. I believe that Harmony is the best animal hospital. They also treat cats, birds, reptiles and just about any animal you can name. For us and our pet, there is no other place wed rather go to when the need arises.

First visit, what an amazing experience! Coming from a vet who knew my first name and my dogs from the time they were puppies until they got old and passed on, I was expecting to to have a hard time (emotionally) finding someone so warm and kind for my cats. We just moved here and we picked this vet because of all the great reviews online, and they were all right! The staff is warm and kind and understanding. It wasnt just me telling my story of why we needed to be there, but they shared as well about their pets and experiences. They each treated me as an immediate priority and were so genital and sweet with my cat, I really felt safe with my baby in their hands. Lastly, I really felt like they were very affordable too. I cannot say how happy I am, I would recommend any pet parent bring their babies there. Side note: Their clinic is ADORABLE! I felt like I walked into a little cafe alcove in wine country. You can see right into the kennels, which are soft and plush and the animals seemed quite comfy in them. Not cages in a line on the wall in the back room at some places. The first thing I noticed though was the smell. It smelled clean without smelling like chemicals hiding the smell of pets and animals. Thanks! - Maiken and Mien
